Chapter 38

Gunner couldn't believe his eyes to see that his brother is still alive and breathing because he can see his chest going up and down like he was having a hard time catching his breath and like fighting for his life. He knows that his twin is fighting and he can see that to his aura. He was pale and skinny. The bones in his back can barely be now seen.

His heartbeat quickened and he can't even feel his own feet even though his mind is telling him to run to where his brother's direction he just couldn't. His hand formed into a fist which cause his knuckles turns to white and gritted his teeth. A screech on his shoes made him run to where his brother as a tear escapes from his eyes. He just couldn't hold any longer the emotions rolling into his chest.

As soon as Gunner was now in front of the glass where Slasher, is hypnotize he touched the glass as if also touching the face of his brother.

'I am here now," he said as he sniffed and wipe the tears away from his eyes. The weak body that was earlier in his system changed into a body of the normal him the first thing that he had to step into the building.

Gunner looked at every corner of the glass and he couldn't find anything that would help him make Slasher out of it. There is no button or anything like a door to open the glass. How does every person are put inside? He had to do something before someone will caught him. Gunner cursed under his mouth as he was not well prepared, he had seen Slasher yet he was still useless.

He looked at his phone and the video was still recording and suddenly Gunner wanted to throw it away but it is the only thing that would make the sick company put into death once it is out into the world.

He took a step back to see if there is anything that would help him see if there is a switch that he did not notice. Once he got Slasher out he still did not know what to do next. They are still trapped but Gunner doesn't care anymore all in his mind is to get Slasher out of the Project Wilson.

It was too late that he can sense something was staring at his back. It was dark and making his spine chilled. It was an enemy and it was too late when he took a three steps backwards and their eyes meet.

'Loving the view?" a chilly icy voice commented and Gunner couldn't even feel his lips and he feet again froze.

The person behind him is no other than Ibiza but he was now different, he was now an enormous monster, a devil's advocate.

It was like the time had stopped and his heartbeat is drumming out of his ears. He didn't waste any more time and he feels like he was tossed by a swift of air as he put all of his energy in his heels and make a run. He didn't know where to go or where to run all he knows is just keeps on running just to get out of Ibiza's sight.

'Sure you can run and hide but you cannot escape," a chilly loud voice stormed and it echoed and echoed which makes Gunner more afraid.

He wanted to slap himself because of what he is feeling. He should have to be brave for himself and his brother. How on earth would they get out if he is a coward? No, Gunner was not afraid of Ibiza he was just afraid of the word death because as he and Ibiza's eyes met he can feel the Ibiza will not let him survive in this damn building.

The bottle of water that slung into his shoulder was swinging as he run circled finding some place to hide but it was almost impossible. The glasses are crystal clear and even though there is a person inside it is not safe just to hide there in the corner and just wait for that monster to awaken him up again.

He took the bottle out of his shoulder for it is making him carry a weight and he is losing much energy now. He feels like fainting and he needs to find a place to hide right away. And then it snaps him the place that he used to hide from the first thing that he had dumped in there.

'Generator," he uttered under his breath as he throw the bottle water in the left wing which will cause a sound and he just hopes that Ibiza will take a bite into it. He needs to find the place the he had hidden himself.

He was huffing and catching for his breath until he can see the familiar place of where he had hid himself. It was like he was saved even just for a short of time. He was almost near to where the large generator was and could hid himself just right there but he didn't see the Ibiza was just standing behind of it smiling as he look on his way.

'Only a child can be fooled by that lame strategy of yours my child. I can't help but to put sympathy into your face but at least you felt saved even for just a short of time right?" he stated and Gunner's eyes widened and couldn't believe that Ibiza already knows where he is heading.

'H-how?" he can't help but to blurted it out and Ibiza released an evil laugh like he was so entertained to see a clown in front of him.

Ibiza stomped his feet in the floor as he laugh his heart out and pretend to wipe a tear in his eye and tilt his head. And for a second his aura changed into something insidious.

'Stop wasting your energy and just face your fate… Gunner," Ibiza said and with that Gunner suddenly felt that all of his surroundings was beginning to feel like it was rotating and starting to get blurry. And before he could even know it he was knocked out.

Two hours passed after Gunner fainted…

Ibiza had planned everything and it did went well but not the first plan which he did not expect from Gunner to kill that nun just from the very first move. He was shocked from what he had seen from Gunner. Ibiza was sure that Dr. Vega will be very pleased if they have like Gunner to be an astral soldier he would be a great armor for the armies. Ibiza won't kill him he would just punish him and feel him the face of death and it looks like it is all working.

From the first place Ibiza had injected Gunner using the firing gun that Dr. Vega invented which the subject won't feel and notice anything. The capsule will perish once it is inside of the flesh of the subject and its liquid will slowly adjust into every cells of the subject. The subject will feel weak from the first thing that he will be awaken from a deep sleep and he will feel nauseous. He will feel a very painful headache and his heart beat will quickened that will make surely the subject passed out in no time.

But Ibiza was surprised on how long Gunner had taken it. For what he had known he should be passed out after thirty minutes or an hour but Gunner still managed to run and find his brother. His paced was quick and his actions are almost precise for a person that was injected by that capsule and that makes Ibiza adored him so much.

Ibiza on the other hand is still normal when it comes to thinking. He knows what he have become, a monster and he is aware of that. His physical appearance had change a lot that anyone would be scare at the sight of him and that is what he wanted. When he was young he felt like he wasn't born just be a human, he believes that he was born something like a supernatural.

He spent his school days alone without anyone befriending him and he was okay with that. He doesn't even care at all. He just wanted to study because he was amazed of how science works and no one sees that except him. And that is when he had learned about Dr. Vega.

'You amazed me so much, Gunner. I am just so sorry about your brother because he was just so lame," he uttered as he took a long knife out of the cabinet and washed it to the sink even though it doesn't even have a dirt in it.

Ibiza is fun in washing things that is can be able to kill because he believes that washing it with water is like it was blessed and the sins of that thing was also washed away and ready to have another subject to kill.

Gunner was strap in a stretcher and Ibiza secured that Gunner wouldn't be able to escape to it. The room was dark and they only have a dim light. It was also the room on where was Slasher, was taken and began his experimentation.

Ibiza smiled at the sight of Gunner who looks like in a slumber of deep sleep. It was obvious that gunner was lack in sleep and from he see Gunner would maybe awaken for two or three days. It was long and very tiring for Ibiza to wait but Ibiza believes that he is worth the wait. And besides Dr. Vega is still not at home and when he comes home, he will definitely tell him what he had done to Gunner in no time.

And also not just because of that it is also because he wanted to be rewarded by that serum that he had seen from that experiments of Dr. Vega. A serum that would make him immortal. It was too bad that even Dr. Vega had it to his travel and he can't directly steal it because it is only one serum from the thousands of serum that he had experimented for years.

At first it was impossible if you just imagine the word immortal and it is only in fiction stories can tell about immortalities but he was wrong because Dr. Vega made the impossible to possible. No wonder the government of Japan is protecting him. That serum will be injected to the soldiers so no one will be dead again and the soldiers will be hundreds until to millions of them without dying.

And that will be the doomsday of the world. The doom is already walking in the surface of earth and even human cannot stop it. Not even the gods because if the gods can stop it then maybe from the first place He had already made it stopped but it seems like he was in favor of Dr. Vega. He was in favor of villainess.



Ibiza looked at the direction of Gunner who is still asleep and smiled. 'And what are you kid? A superhero? Trying to save the world by recording videos and not even bothering to have weapons with you thinking that things that you just have will save you? No one escapes this building," he said and looked at the camera at the back of the phone.

Ibiza didn't bother to throw it or take it away from Gunner's neck instead he was entertained by it and seems like even more enjoying it. He believes that no one will ever know what is going on in this damn building even the government. All they know is about the power but they never see what that power is because they are afraid. Ibiza was disgusted to humans because they wanted the power but afraid to face what it is in it.

Ibiza let out an insane laugh. 'Humans are disgusting," he stated and shakes his head slowly as he put the knife back in the cabinet where it belongs.

He walked near to the edge of the stretcher bed of Gunner and tilt his head as if examining his stamina and body. He still couldn't believe that a frame of body like his can dwell so much with an instinct and always in right timing.

He had known that nun as an assassin before and he was sure that time that the nun will surely knock him but it was a reciprocal from what he had imagined.

'Expect the unexpected things huh," he said as he trails his long dirty hard nails in the edge of the bed until his hand reach the top of the bed where Gunner's head is.

He scrape his forehead using his nails and it created a blood from his trail and Ibiza smiled satisfyingly.

'Lucky you I can't kill you this time because you might be useful for tomorrow… for our future and of course you will neglect the idea but I will help you embrace it. I will help you see what humans really are and how have you not come to think about what if the read enemies are the humans and not the supernaturalism that is not yet found. What if all of this is reciprocal? You humans believe from what the right thing that you believe is right. You believe from the truth that you think what the truth is. But what if all of those are all lies and just made up?" Ibiza stated and looked at the ceiling where the dark is.

'Even if you fall asleep there is darkness, gunner. You cannot escape the darkness. Even the light have shadows. Because all of these exist and you humans just don't face the truth because all of you are cowards. You want to be rich but is afraid to invest. You want to have power but is afraid to face it and command someone to face it and deliver it to you. You all have your needs but you wanted more. It is never enough in this world because what is living here is full of greed and that is why Dr. Vega is here to save the world," he said as he raised his hands in the air like praising as he closes his eyes.

A sticky saliva came out of his mouth. 'Dr. Vega came to earth and made armies of people to wipe all of the sinners here on earth and make a better place again. A better world for us to live. And those fool people of government will come to taste their foolishness. How fool."

Ibiza opens his eyes and look at Gunners face and the blood was almost dried in his forehead. He wipes it away using his thumb and come to taste it to his tongue and his eyes rolled and is thin lips twitched into an insidious smile.

'Have a good night of sleep my subject."
