Chapter 102

'Don't look back . . . keep running!"

Beads of sweats soaked in his pillow as Hiro wake up from his dream. It had always been like that which makes him never stops from searching for them but he admits that there comes a time when he had losses hope of finding them. It had him worried of what just had happened to them that day did they even escape or had they been killed by his father? But that was impossible because even him too needs to find Haku and the reason was for the experiment that he had failed to steal from Dr. Gambit.

He put the sleeping bag to the other side and took a cup and a coffee. Hiro pulled a chair near the window of his tent where he could see what was happening outside and as he looked at his watch it says that it was already six in the morning. He sigh as he brushed his hair using his fingers.

From the outside there was only burning fire that was about to fuse down and a lot of ashes and maybe they all have burnt out. But what was distracting him again was about of his dreams. It had become a routine dreams of him and the voice of his mother was just keep on repeating and he could see the eyes of his twin brother asking for help. He looked at the side of the corner where he could see Samuel sleeping soundly and he bets that he had been crying all night before he gets to his sleep.

He groaned out of frustration of so many what if's running through his mind during that day that if he just stayed with his mother and Haku maybe he had been with this time. But what makes him curious is that they just vanished out of thin air and even though he had already the greatest men to search for them still they are nothing . . . they couldn't find his family. From then he still have hatred to his father because he had erased his memories that time but thankfully he had regain his memory back for a couple of months without him knowing it but those months were important because Haku and his mother were waiting for him. He also keep blaming himself for leaving them but that was the only answer that he could think about that time on how to lure away those men that was after them.

'Haku," he whispered under his breath as he placed back his cup to the saucer and look again to the window.

He also knew about the true identity of his mother when he had conducted a search for them. Her true name is Miranda Venezuela a resigned assassin in a Black Organization but nevertheless he haven't seen anything suspicious from her mother he just sees a mother love in her image but whoever she is he still loves her because she is their mother. Which maybe also explains why they are hard to find because his mother was great in hiding but he was the one who is searching for them but why she haven't showed up? He had a feeling that there was something dangerous had happened to them.

He also remembers the day that he had ask his father about him and her.

His father was having a coffee in the garden while he was having his glass of milk. Hiro was having the urge to ask him but he stops himself from doing it because it might get him mad.

'I can sense you, Hiro, you've been meaning to ask me some things that you might want to spill it out. Ask me, I promise I won't get mad at you," he stated which makes him surprised.

He then realize that he can't keep anything from his father and he was just waiting for him to get on his tracks.

Hiro took a deep breath and ask, 'Do you love our mom?" He was fidgeting as he began to ask that question but that is not what he wanted to ask.

'Yes, he was the love of my life," he directly answered which had taken him aback. He was not expecting that coming from him because he can't imagine that someone like him could mean that way. Hiro looked up to him like a cold man who doesn't give a damn to anyone.

Simeon couldn't help but to reminisce the days they have been together with Francisca.

ITALY

Few years back . . .

Simeon and Francisca was just a college student that day but Simeon and she had escape classes just to get in Italy. Francisca that day couldn't imagine that they are doing such a thing and that is the day that she had given him everything.

They were so in love and Simeon admits that she was the one whom he will get married into.

'Do you love me?" Simeon asked as he brushed the strands of her hair away from her face. They are still sweaty yet they are happy to have each other.

Francisca looks at him with so much love in her eyes and answered, 'Yes, I do love you with all my heart, Simeon." She brushed his hair with her fingers and kiss him on his lips.

Upon hearing that from the lips of her he kissed her tenderly and make love to her again.

'I have loved your mother whoever she was and whatever her past is," he said which makes him ashamed of what he thinks about him that he wanted to take those back.

Hiro sighed and took a sip of now a cold cup of coffee and when he was about to get another cup of hot coffee Samuel was already standing behind him.

'You're awake," he said and in response Samuel nodded his head to him as he massage his temples and pulled a chair to take a sit.

Samuel had told him to call by his name because they aren't in United States playing his role of being a President because they are on the same boat of surviving.

Although even though Hiro was having a second thought about that but Samuel had it insisted but in the end Hiro doesn't care for that after all of addressing what was right from wrong. What is more important to think about is how to get those young boys out of captivity of Dr. Vega.

As Hiro took a cup of coffee he then take another cup for Samuel and poured him some.

He handed him the cup and he thank him immediately. 'Where we should start?" he asked as he took a sip of his black coffee.

Hiro told him about his plans and as much as Samuel can see the danger through it all they could is do is to be careful and help each other. From what he have seen in the videos he saw that all of the person down there was a monster that you couldn't imagine to be existed so he must prepare himself. As he thought about that a flash of face reminded him and that Joemar who's the real name was Seiji, the Prime Minister of Japan. His hand formed into a fist causing his knuckles turns to white and his veins were already showing up. Hiro noticed that which makes him smile because he had that feeling when he felt betrayed by Vega whom he thought that he was a dear friend of him.

'I remember myself in you, Samuel. I had that kind of feeling when I felt betrayed too," he said which makes Hiro stare at him.

'I was betrayed for how many times by the people who I felt that I could be trusted but in the end they have failed me. I feel like a fool," he said and a bitter laugh came out of his lips.

'Like a trash," Hiro added reminiscing the time that he had enjoyed playing with Vega he looks like a fool.

'I didn't have the chance to ask you of why you are here? Mind telling me but if I sound like I am prying too much then it is okay if you don't at all," he said as he placed back the cup to the saucer that is now empty.

He sighed and a moment of silence passed by for just a couple of minutes before he spoke up.

'Vega was once my friend . . . I was a theft young boy but I came from a very rich family but their money is not mine, my father is Simeon Fushita. He was the rich one and not me. Being a theft was just my past time if I am bored and then one day I got this wallet of this old man and his son had it witnessed. He came after me and that was the time we became friends because we have so much alike and then I told him where I lived and he pays me a visit by another day. Days passed and we became so very close that I already treated him as a family even though we have just meet. One day by an accident I heard him calling by his phone they were talking about me. From what I have heard Vega was just using me because of the money . . . that is all," he said which makes him gritted his teeth as he recall the conversation that he have heard and the way he had pretended himself of not hearing those out.

'I see . . . that was harsh and coming from a child I can say that it was painful and look what he is now. A lunatic scientist cannibal but you should be thankful not ending up being his friend because you too could be like him or you will end being like him. Everything happens for a reason . . . may it be all of these things," he said as he took a deep breath and look outside where there is a window.

Hiro thought that he was right after all and he should be thanking the gods for opening his ears, eyes and even his mind early or if not he would also end up being like him. But what he is not agree too is that it is too much for the reason that this are all happening in the world and even the innocent people are affected. Does the god even took their sleep for ages? Because it really took them ages to see what was happening down here which looks like they are in favor of Vega taking over the people and the world by blood bath.

'Maybe we are in the same thought about the gods if ever they are existed. If ever they are seeing what was happening down here and maybe they are," he said which makes Hiro to look at him and asked.

'How can you tell?"

Samuel smiled and looked at the window again where he could see burnt out woods and probably lot of those are bodies which now look like a land of cremation. 'Because they have sent us," he said which earned Hiro a laugh it was a bitter laugh.

'They sent us? You are making me laugh we don't even know what to do in here and looking at those monsters we have no fight to them," he said and Samuel nodded his head but as he thought about their situation on what the reason they were there and the reason that he is still alive that was supposed to be dead.

'You maybe are right but when I saw that kid whose name is Gunner all I see is the determination of being alive as he search his way of escape. But if I am right he was searching for something or someone," he said which makes Hiro taken aback upon him mentioning Gunner's name.

He was right and had felt ashamed for a short time because of what he had said earlier. But he couldn't blame himself because that is what he felt and if there are gods out there why does it had to be like this? It had gone too far . . . too much agony of pleas yet they are not hearing those screams and lot of people had died already and those life cannot be taken back.

Hiro sigh and took a deep breath, 'The first thing we should do right now is to get down there but as to what I have observe we should take first to the floating office," he said as he have seen Gunner and Ross saving out Slasher from that globe. If they are going to get someone out then the only thing that could help them is to be able to get in there.

'Floating office?" Samuel asked curiously.

'There is much thing you didn't know existed in this place and I will let you know all of them," he said which makes him even more curious. 'This building is made of machine that it could change its appearance if Vega wanted too. Impossible things could be turn to possible. Things you never know would be existed in real life and thinking that he was the only one who had built that," he said in a serious tone of his voice and Samuel couldn't help but to look at him and try to process those words in his mind.

'I am here to rescue all of them but ended up like this and also ending that I was the only one who did survive from the horror. Those people had died in no honor of reason but I will be the one who will put justice for them . . . I will stand by their sides and what hurts me the most is on how to tell their families about their deaths. I know how it felt for a family that had gone. Whatever it is that is out there I will take it because you have saved me and I will not waste those efforts," he stated as a tear escape from his eyes which he immediately wipe it away using the back of his hand.

'Even if it risk your own life?" Hiro asked without looking at him.

'Yes," he directly answered to him.

From that time the two of them knows what they are facing right now but what Hiro is bothering right now is the twins down there of how are they doing. He wanted to see them and maybe he had the chance to do that this night. They will be the one who he will save first and before that he needed to know where they are hiding at or maybe they are still in that room where he had seen him last time.

'What should I get with me?" Samuel asked as he took a stand from his seat.

'Bring whatever you needed like knife and don't take a flashlight it is very dangerous to have that because someone would see us beaming with that light. A lighter is enough but I didn't think we kind of be needing that. What we need are ropes to tie us up and our cellular phones but I bet you already don't have yours," he says which makes Samuel check up on himself and he was right he doesn't have his phone with him now.

'Is there any signal here?" he asked which curious him because as far as he knows from this kind of barriers signal or interment connection is hard.

'No," he said as he tossed him a cellular phone which he immediately catches it with his own two hands in surprise.

'You will need that and it is already in mute and that is not just a cellular phone and you have to clip this this in your clothes because this would be your tracker," he said as he handed the small circle like a microchip size and it had a clip at the back of it.

Immediately Samuel had it clipped to his shirt and the cellular phone blink and he looked at it and he saw himself as the red one blinking.

'While this is mine," he said as he too clip his in his shirt and Samuel looked at the screen and he saw a blinking blue.

'Yours is red while mine is blue this would help us track each other and do not loss your phone or else I won't be able to find you anymore," he said and Samuel gulp at to what he had just said and just nodded his head.

Samuel had already seen like that one but he had never seen something like it in cellular phones and he admits it was kind of new to him.

'I have it made just exclusively for me and good thing I have bought two of it. Press the red button if you need a help, the blue if you have found something, the green if there is something danger coming, and the white if we should hide," he said and Samuel nodded his head trying to take those notes inside of his head.

'Are we splitting up?" he asked which also makes him worried because he doesn't know anything inside.

'No, it is just for an emergency case that we may encounter," he said and he nodded his head totally have sense. 'Now let's get into it."
