Gunner looks at him with a questioning look and asks, 'What is it?"



'Do you happen to remember a priest in here?" he asked, which gave Gunner's full attention to him.



Gunner nodded and replied, 'Yes, yes I have. You won't believe it but he had no do harm to me, yet I have helped him for some reason which I do not know. I have helped him get that blue serum the same as yours and also have this company with him and it was a nun. What about him, Ross?" he asked as his forehead scrunched.



'We have talked and he was the one who cleaned up the body of Samson before Dr. Vega could see it," he replied, and Gunner couldn't believe what he had heard and just couldn't believe why the priest would do such a thing.



'Why would he do that?" he asked, but still couldn't believe it because he still didn't trust that priest because he knew he was still a pet of his.



'He said that you did him a favor and he was just repaying it, but there is much more," he said, which made Gunner even more curious.



Gunner then nodded, remembering what that priest had told him about giving him back the favor that he did to him. At first, he doesn't want to believe him. He just does the favor so the priest won't harm him. Yet now he had proven that he was indeed telling the truth.



'What's more?" he asked and hated Ross for not directing the message to him.



'The escape place. He has found the exit, Gunner, and that is our hope now," he said, which makes Gunner's eyes lit up with hope, yet it suddenly vanishes and Ross reads what's running through his mind.



It was understandable, because even in the first place, he also didn't believe in what he had said about the escape place yet he would be the first one who would check it out before he would bring Gunner and Slasher.



'How are you sure? If he had found it, then why didn't he escape in the first place?" he asked, and Ross already knew that it was coming.



'I will check it first before we make our plan. I knew you would ask that thing and I have also asked him the same thing and this is what he has answered me. He says that as soon as he found that secret way out he questioned himself what he would do outside.



He had dreamt of starting his life again from a scratch just like me, but as he saw the sun's rays … the way out, he stopped in his tracks and questioned himself again because his life outside was miserable. Yes, he was a priest yet he had this cult that he had made and it was a long story. Are you okay listening to it?" he asked, and Gunner couldn't suppress himself but to get worried, yet he smiled that didn't quite reach his eyes. He didn't even know why he was smiling and maybe he was all along smiling at the word escape because, indeed, there was a freedom waving at them.



There was indeed hope for them. Even in the darkest, there is a ray of sunlight.



Ross tells him everything about Gunner and even the cult and the reason why they have arrived in this kind of place.



'What a lunatic reason is that? They just put themselves in their own graves," he said, which made Ross laugh a little because of his reaction and comment.



'We are in the same boat of reaction but in this world we are stepping. There are people like them and we can't stop them from growing, yet we could help some to put their lives back. Yet I still believe that the almighty is working on with their lives and there are purposes for why they exist in this world. A reason that we don't even know and if we had already known the reason then we couldn't even understand," he said, and Gunner was surprised of his statement.



'That was deep and coming from you, wow," he commented and Ross couldn't help but to slap his back, which earned them a laugh.



'When are you going to check it out and where is that place?" he suddenly asked, and Ross looked at him and nodded.



Ross feels like Gunner and Slasher were his brothers by blood even though they were just cousins, but it was good for him that he still had a family outside and it was even better when their destinies met.



'Down there," he said, referring to where Dr. Vega's subjects are. ' If you remember the time I and your father had fight I gave you the card to use for the elevator and I bet it stops from the place route that you have always seen. It camouflages the wall. It is the same as where the exit is, it is also camouflages the wall. I just got to find it and once I have found it, then we start our plan of escaping. I believe Vega is already here and sooner he will learn what has happened down there. I checked the open globes and I was surprised that it was all okay and guess who has cleaned it all up again," he stated, and Gunner's eyes widened as he looked at Ross and he slowly nodded his head like he was reading his mind.



'The priest again?"



Ross nodded and even he couldn't believe what the priest had done and it was a big favor for them.



'Yet Slasher's globe is empty, so sooner or later he will find it out and we shouldn't underestimate him. Even though he doesn't look at each and every cell, he will know it in the system just like what we have seen in his floating office," he said, and Gunner nodded his head completely knowing what he was pointing about.









'What are we going to do now?"
