Chapter 79

It was already evening and maybe past eight yet Gunner was still asleep and so is Slasher yet from time to time he always checked on them if they were still breathing. He was a bit worried about Slasher because from a long time that he was prisoned in the globe maybe he is still adjusting himself particularly from the air he is breathing.

He was somehow proud of Slasher because he is fighting for his life. Even though he couldn't see his eyes he knows he wanted to live. After arranging the food in the corner where he had a small ragged blanket which he had places the food in case neither one of them awakened then he could assist them already. Even if he wanted to sleep because he also felt tired even though he couldn't feel pain because of what Samson had done to him he was still feeling tired.

Ross was also a bit worried because Dr. Vega might be back and if he finally found out that Samson was nowhere to be seen then they are already in the pit of danger. However he was still thankful because there is no cctv in the place where they had fight.

A tear escapes from his eyes which he had immediately wipe it away using the back of his hands yet his tears keep on flowing and he could feel his heart gripping and his teeth was chattering. He couldn't take it any longer he felt lonely and sad. A sudden feeling that he didn't expect it just came like a lightning and he was in tear now for no reason. He cursed under his breath for feeling that way.

'I feel so lonely," he couldn't help but to say it out loud and tears started falling again.

He feels lonely because every time he looked at Gunner and Slasher he couldn't help but to feel jealous. He knows it is bad to feel that way but he just couldn't because as he take a looked at them they are still a family and they still have each other while him was different. Unlike him he was all alone. Yes, they are cousins but before that he was all alone… he fully accepted it from the first place and even though Gunner had told him that he was welcome if ever he would join to the two of them it still didn't change the fact that he was still alone.

A moment passed by and he almost feel calm and even though there is still danger out there waiting for them as soon as he stares at the two he sees hope.

'Ross," a raspy voice called which makes Ross turn his head on him.

He immediately get up to his place and walked into Gunner's direction and he could sense that he was somehow felt weak and needed a lot of rest and that was a bad news for him because they don't have much time to have that kind of rest. He hopes that Gunner knows that and he won't blame him because he had defeated Samson.

'Gunner, I am here," he said and help Gunner sit at the edge of the bed and asked him, 'Do you want a drink? Wait, I'll get you some," he said and left him getting a bottle of water and quickly opened it.

Gunner take a drink of water and had said his thanks to Ross which makes Ross smiled at him in response.

'How long I have been asleep?" he asked and Ross tapped his shoulder form him not to get so worried because it was evident in his eyes.

'Been hours now," he replied and Gunner immediately stands from his sit and could nearly lost his balance and he quickly catches him and guided him where Slasher is.

'Don't worry I always check out on him and he is doing fine," he said and Gunner embrace him which caught him off guard because he was not expecting that. He almost forgot when the last time that someone embraced him.

Ross returned back the gesture while Gunner brushed his back.

'Thank you for everything that you have done to us. We will make it together out of this damn building. We will get out and I promised you that," he said and Ross nodded to him even though he just see a slightest chance for them so escape the way told him that they would escape he feels like they could.

Gunner was the ray of hope for them. He looked at his twin brother and stare at him with sympathy with his state of condition.



'When will he be able to wake up again?" he asked as he looked at Ross and he replied him with a shrugged of shoulders.

As Gunner turn his head again to his twin he couldn't help but top feel sad because he doesn't even know what to do in order to bring him back to his normal shape. When suddenly he thought of an idea.

'What about the serum?" he asked and looked at Ross with hope.

Ross slowly shakes his head, 'No, it won't work on him because the only one who could take it is the person who got injected but into his state he wasn't yet injected because his arms or his wrist have no traces of being injected. Still it is a good sign because there is no drugs in his system therefore he will be fine in the end but let us just expect the unexpected of him being in that kind of situation for a long time or even longer than that," he said in a low tone of voice and even though it was a perfect idea for Slasher to take that blue serum he will not risk his life.

'How are you sure?" Gunner asked and it is not that he doesn't believe on what Ross had said but he just want to see just a glimpse light of hope for Slasher.

Ross felt that Gunner was getting worried about his twin brother and he doesn't know how to cheer him up so he just tapped his shoulder and gesture him to take a sit at the edge of the bed which he followed him without a word.

'I know you are worried about him but it was the least of our business right now because you have defeated Samson and when Dr. Vega learned that he is already dead we are in deep trouble," he said and heard him sighed.

'You are right," he replied and groaned as he put his hands in his face.

'But I have found something that could help us escape."
