Chapter 110

As soon as they landed to their destination the Vice President couldn't help but to feel cold because of the weather and the cargo jacket she was wearing right then was perfect for the cold foggy weather and considering that it was near in the middle of the night. The smoking coffee she was holding was perfect as she took a sit to the big boulder stone which she finds it perfect for her to think some things and to be just alone while the other men in their was very busy of analyzing of where they should go. From what she have heard as soon as they have landed they have reported to her that they haven't have any signal form the other Lieutenants that have companied the President. Although they wanted to come to rescue they couldn't because they were only at least twenty of them and they have the feeling that from the lease that they are hundreds of them why even one of them doesn't contact them.

After that she didn't listen anymore because she didn't want to hear any more things that would make her mind go round and her heart beat fast. She didn't want to go overthinking and because of that she had been palpitating and right now she is drinking a coffee which she wishes that it doesn't make her palpitate more. She doesn't even feel sleepy for the time being and maybe it was because of the juices and now the coffee that she was drinking again and it was like she of at least three cups of it right now.

'What is going on in this world?" she uttered under her

breath as she massages her temples and couldn't help but to groan.

She startled when some speaks behind her and she blames the

coffee for it. 'Konbanwa, Ma'am Vice President."

She slowly looked at the man who had just said that and she noticed that he was a old Japanese man and she gestured to him a nod and smile.



'Good evening to you too," she replied, which was a good thing because she somehow understands some languages in Japanese.

'My name is Tamagochi," he introduced himself and sighed. 'Maybe it is not a good thing that you have also brought yourself in here," he said, which made her eyebrows furrow and she somewhat noticed that he could speak an English language and was thankful that she would not have a difficulty of trying to understand him and maybe it would only lead to misunderstanding.

'Why?" she asked, but her voice was low even though she wanted to look strong because that is what she is but the aura of the old man that was next to him was different.

'Being in here is a doomsday. I don't know if you have also seen it in the news but a lot of young men even old went missing after that WIC building was built here in Japan and was located there is the heart of the forest because it said that they are making herbal medicines which is why they have that building located there so no one would invade and no one could enter that building unless you are an employee there or was invited to. But what makes it unique from our eyes was the only employees that were hired in there

was only men and no females are around in there," he said which caught her attention and knowing that he is Japanese then he is residing in this place and he knows what is going around in this country.

'They are abducted by that building?" she asked and even though she literally knows it she just wanted to ask because the feeling was unlikely if he would hear it from the resident of people in Japan.

'Yes, but no one believes me that time and they were saying that my son just left me because we were poor but after day by day slowly young men including the son of our neighborhood also went missing which he was also an employee to that building and he was working there for two weeks and had gone missing from then," he added and she could feel that there was sadness

between his words and considering that his son was also abducted by Dr. Vega she couldn't help but to grip her hands and thinking of how devil he is.

'Did the government conduct an action?" she asked which she already knows the answer obviously.

He shook his head and a small laugh escapes from his lips like he was mocking at the same time. But it was a bitter laugh and she could see hurt in his eyes and knowing that he had lost a son and being abducted by Dr. Vega and no could even help him get him back that is the most frustrating part as being a parent. And if that also happens to her then she would literally goes insane.

"I attempted to enter that building because even the government says they don't have the authority to do so because there is no such thing as evidence," he exclaimed, laughing at the last word he'd said. 'Evidence? What kind of evidence do they still require? Isn't the evidence provided by the missing young men sufficient? I know they're also Dr. Vega's useful idiots. I tried but failed to go there, and you know what's strange about it? Because that building doesn't even have the windows and doors that were supposed to be there based on what I remember. My son was hired there on a part-time basis because he was still a student; he insisted because he said he wanted to help us, and he eventually left. I'd like to go in, but there's no way in because it's all bricked up. And the building appears to be somewhat different," he said, prompting her to imagine, and his eyes were filled with curiosity as he described it.

Silence overwhelmed them both as they watch the other soldiers getting ready even though it is still early. But knowing them because the Generals and other Lieutenants are in there sure they are going to obey their orders considering that they are on a mission that they don't know whom they are going to fight with.



She doesn't know what to response because she couldn't imagine such a thing he describes the building and how come it didn't have any windows or any doors? According to what she had read in magazines about the opening of such a building in Japan that would produce herbal medicines that would truly help patients and other sick people. And the most interesting part was the hiring part of being employed in that building because of such a high grade salary and the other benefits that an employed person could take and the only person could be employed there are only the residents of Japan.



The place was given to them by the government and that place was exclusively for them and no one could enter the premises without the consent or unless invited so and was employed there. And from what she has learned the company really releases some medicines and the people who had taken it had been cured from their illness and also the concerned patients are also taking it and it was only them who could makes such medicines and no one dares to copy it and that medicine also controversies and was also scrammed in the news as it spreads like a wildfire. The other scientist and doctors had these beliefs that it was somehow mixed with an ingredient that it wasn't supposed to be in there and those are the illegal drugs. From the time that it would be investigated there is no such a thing as a drug that was mixed up to all of the capsules and syrups but from the scientist and doctors that had witnessed they are sure that it was in there and someone had just made it sabotage. One of the scientists was used to be a spy in there and pretended to be an employee and from what he had learned he saw a virus from the underground which was experimenting into. It was experimented secretly and from he had learned it was a virus. A virus is a submicroscopic infectious agent that replicates only inside the living cells of an organism. Viruses infect all life forms, from animals and plants to microorganisms, including bacteria and archaea. Most people infected with the virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. However, some will become seriously ill and require medical attention.



That would infect people all over the world and if a person would be infected by that virus, the virus would take the whole system of the subject and would send complications in severe and there will be no cure for it and it would spread to everyone and household will undergo in quarantine or maybe a total lockdown.



As he took his way out and had never come back again he told what he had witnessed in there and of course they believe him and when they announced it to the government regarding to their issue they didn't believe in them because after all they don't have any evidence with them and it looks like unfair because none of them believe but they didn't stopped and they put a scene and put a strike that cause a news all over the headlines and the fourth day those scientist and doctors had died with no precautions of death. No signs of robbery, strangling, murder, not even a trace of blood or plunging with a knife, no gunshots, not everything that a person's death would be described and the weirdest thing was the authorized person who gets their bodies where their eyes were wide open, pale like they have loosen blood, and their mouths were hang wide open.



That case was closed immediately because they couldn't find an answer to their cause of death and it was already forgotten.



'Bega hakase ni attara, jibun de korosu to chikau. Sore ga dekinai baai wa, jigoku de kare o eien ni karu, (If I see Dr. Vega, I swear I'll kill him myself, and if I can't, I'll hunt him forever in hell.)" he said and she was thankful and feel it weird because she understands what he had just said.



'We will do everything to get him arrested and he will pay everything that he had done into this world," she said and Tamagochi nodded his head when someone called him.

He politely excuses himself to her and she just nodded her head and smiled. 'Nice to meet you again, Mr. Tamagochi," she said as he turn his back on him and he waves his hand as a goodbye to her.



She looked at her wristwatch to see what time is it now and it was already near in one in the morning and until then she didn't feel sleep and if she would take a nap it would maybe just get her more weak so she decided to get another cup of coffee because the one that she is holding is not anymore hot because of the weather. In front of her was the busy people who still walk here and there crossing each other and it would be shame to walk in front of them because it was only she was the one who is sitting at the corner and taking a cup of coffee. Nevertheless she took her stand and get what she wanted.



As she gets her coffee the Lieutenant Bright walk near her the one who had companied her earlier.



'I think you should maybe take a short nap. A nap as short as ten minutes can be beneficial, but keep your nap to thirty minutes or less so you don't wake up feeling more tired," he said and he was right because even she knows about that thing and she doesn't just feeling to have a sort nap because based from their situation it is unlikely to have yourself relax knowing that when you wake up you will be welcomed by catastrophe and maybe it would be her last sleep and she doesn't want that.



'I don't think if I could sleep at this kind of situation and even if that is just a nap I still couldn't," she said which seems like he understands it because even he couldn't even take a nap.



He gets a cup and pour it some coffee and together they took a sit away from the crowd and thinking that the clock is ticking she couldn't help but to be nervous at the same time.



'Do you have a son?" she asked making a good conversation with him just to get her nerves out of being nervous and full of worriedness.



He smiled and took a deep breath ah he placed his cup to the table that was near to them. 'I have a daughter and they are waiting for me, my wife and my daughter and I promised them that I would surely make it come back but I have written them a letter and I already gave it to Renie who will now be flying back to the United States. If I didn't get back for five days and there is no communication already then that will be a signal for him that he would send that letter to my family. But I will make my promise to them and I will do everything in my might to get back to them," he said and there was sadness in the tone of his voice which makes her also worried about it because even he had the feeling of uncertainty.



She sighed and took another sip of the coffee she was holding and crossed her legs. 'I have a family too, a son and my husband are also waiting for me there and I saw you writing a letter while we are flying and also I wanted to write one but I won't because it maybe just breaks me down because it feels like I am already giving my farewell to them. I promised to my son that I will be back," she said as she smiled that didn't even quite reached her eyes. 'For the President not being able to contact and the other crews makes me worried because it is unlikely but-' she smiled at him. 'I believe that we can survive what is out there waiting for us."







DARKNESS it was all darkness as they took their way from the tunnels while Slasher and Samuel took their own way down there. By the help of the sticky liquid that Ross had given to him they could work easily on their own way.

Also he and Hiro had a sticky liquid to their feet's so they wouldn't slip and Hiro was the one who is leading the way since he was already familiar of the safest way to get on.



'Gunner," he called which makes him look at him even though his back was facing him as they take their walk.

What is weirder is that his eyes already adapt to the darkness and he could easily see where they are going.



'Yes?" he responded as they keep on moving.



'Do you find it strange if in the end I will be your father for the both of you?" he asked and before he had think of that question he had gathered so much braveness in order for him to ask that and somehow he was hoping a good answer because he really hopes that he was the father of them.



Gunner didn't know what to response because he was shy to admit that he also hopes that it was he was their true father. It maybe strange because from that they know that Brace was their father and he was just killed by Ross he didn't felt any regret instead he felt hatred and anger towards him because he had witnessed all the things that he had cause to their mother. And even though their mother doesn't talk to him he doesn't have any hatred towards her mother because he loves her and even his brother he doesn't feel anything of jealousy.



Silence took over them which makes Hiro hurt because he was expecting of something from him but maybe it was not the perfect time to ask that kind of question because of what situation they are facing right now. He shrugs it off and just focus on their mission right now.



'We hope you are really our father," he said which makes Hiro stops from his tracks and also him.



Hiro couldn't ever be more thankful that his back was facing on him because as gay as it sounds but hot liquid was already forming at the edge of his eyelids and he tried to stop it from falling.

A smile escapes from his lips and he decided to keep on walking and also Gunner. He also couldn't help but to smile because he really felt that he was their father.



'We are already near," he said and Gunner nodded his head and preparing himself to whatever comes along the way.



They could almost see the floating office and there is no one in there. Gunner takes a look down to see if Samuel and Slasher are doing alright but he could even see them and guesses it was because of the job of the invisible sheet.



'You won't see them because that invisible sheet is way cooler than you think," he said which makes him smile because it is totally rock to have that kind of equipment and also made him to imagine of what if it would be used in stealing and also peaking some other girls room which made a sly smile from his face and Hiro totally see his reaction as if he could read what was running through his mind.



'Don't even think about it," he said which makes Gunner looked at him and was quite ashamed because he felt like he had already read what was in his mind. He gives him a full smile and a peace sign which makes him shakes his head like he was disappointed or something.



'I think I have inherited this kind of trait to my real father," he mocked which makes Hiro looked at him which makes his eyes widened and his eyes suddenly narrowed.



Gunner wanted to laugh his ass off but he had to hold it because it will really lead them to danger.



Gunner was taken aback by the sheer height of where they were as soon as they set foot on the floating office. The floor they are stepping onto is made of glass, so whoever walks there will undoubtedly be overwhelmed by taking a step, but when he saw Hiro, he appeared to be somewhat calm and there was no trace of fear in him, so perhaps he had no fear of heights.



He walk near to Hiro's direction because that is where the computer that he had used for releasing his twin brother and thankfully even though he was puzzled of how managing the computer he had it memorized of what to click and what to do.



Gunner signaled him to take a look of what he is doing so he could also take a computer and released a captive out of the globe. Hiro looked at where he was tapping and because it was a virtual screen of keyboard he couldn't help but to be amazed and he easily memorize what to do so he just nodded his head as Gunner looked at him if he already had get it. Gunner takes that as a yes because he had make his own way to the other computer that was just next to him so as soon as he opened the first globe he takes a look to the screen if Slasher and Samuel had him taken and he witnessed that the subject was slowly getting out of the globe. It was also perfect because upon opening the globe there is no alarm meaning he had handled it correctly because one wrong move would really put them into danger.

He looked at Hiro and it looks like he had already opened another globe and it was a successful one thinking that he had learned it from him for just a matter of seconds and he would consider that as a fast learner person

They both looked at the screen and the second one was already taken by them and their goal is to at least take of at least five people for now and tonight they will take ten persons since form Hiro had learned Dr. Vega is not lurking around inside of the room and if he does he only roamed his eyes for a second and didn't bother to check every individual because they are hundreds of them. He just checks if everything was alright and maybe they could save of more than what their gal is but they should make it sure because the sheet is not enough to cover them all but they have to be completely make it fast because the bomb that Hiro had placed in every wall of the building will not last for two more days now and they have to be out of the building before it would explode or every one of them will end up shredded into pieces.

As soon as they take out at least five person and they saw the wall which was the secret passage way out opened and close meaning Samuel and Slasher had it found and had already make those person take care of. He also told them not to look into the mirror because it was Ross told him from his dreams. It was just a dream but for him it was a message for them and besides what could ever go wrong when they follow what was Ross had message him.

Of course that mirror is not only there for an image it was built for a reason and that reason is far more dangerous which looks like there is no escape. Mirrors at that rate indicate a bad origin and death.



Hiro signaled him for the to get back to the tent as which as Samuel and Slasher already looks like on their way back and so they should be before someone else might caught them.



As they took their way out Gunner couldn't help but to feel like something is going to happen so he stopped Hiro from walking and grab his arm and pulled him from the dark corner even though they were already embrace by the dark but it would be safe if they are somehow in the corner. He somehow prays that Slasher and Samuel had already climbed and already at the tent.

Hiro looked at him with question in his eyes but he didn't bother looking at him instead Hiro looked to the direction that he was also staring and there they witnessed the arrival of Dr. Vega who was dressed in his white coat and have a company and he doesn't know who it is but Hiro know who was that.



Dr. Vega stops from what he was doing and roamed his eyes through the building he had this keen and dangerous eyes. Gunner realized that his company was somehow familiar and he couldn't believe that if he was right it was their Prime Minister, the Prime Minister of Japan. He though it was just a joke but it was true he was also a partner of Dr. Vega. He couldn't help but to feel an anger boiling in his heart and it makes him palpitate to even think of it more on how could he sleep at night when those families out there were crying in pleas because their children had gone missing and he was the first one who had conducted a search program and had given those family a financial assistance. Also he was the one who conducted the news may it be in the television and tabloids all over the world. Gunner wanted to erase those lips of him that was currently smiling and he wanted to kill him right then right now and Hiro could feel the tension between his eyes which makes him hold his hand and squeezes it for somehow make him wake up from reality. There is always a perfect time for all and he believes every human being who had done wrong will have their time.



They froze from their feet when they notice something from the wall and Hiro couldn't help but to be in sweat because he knew that it was Samuel and Slasher was in there and from what Gunner had said earlier the sticky liquid might not last long by sticking in the wall for so long so it would be recommended that if you have stick your hands and feet to the wall might be using it instantly and not take it stick for so long. But he just hopes that it was just a conclusion but what if it is? Gunner couldn't help but to be worried about his brother that even though he had already get himself back to normal and if they would be ever caught then that would the most difficult thing that would ever happen to them.



They are currently at the half of the wall and also the reason that they have stopped is the whenever they move the sheet would like jiggle so it would caught them into action if they weren't careful at all.

Before Gunner and Hiro could looked down again they were taken aback and went pale when Dr. Vega was already staring into their direction but they are uncertain if he would really see them from the dark. They should just keep their cool.



'Don't move," Hiro whispered that enough for him to hear it and Gunner didn't even move an inch and he even stops from breathing because he realized that in the end he felt terrified of Dr. Vega not mentioning that it was just his eyes that had petrified him.



Dr. Vega's eyes averted to another direction the same as he looked at them so meaning he haven't seen them and they were safe but they should be felt relieved because Dr. Vega was not a fool. After he roamed his eyes to the room he turn is back and had talk to his company which was the Prime Minister, Seiji and as they were talking he was just nodding his head and from in any second they decided to leave but before they took their move they waited for a minute because they believe that they won't know what will comes next after being left.
