After I left, Katniss didn't immediately clear the breakfast table but instead glanced at Nathan's room. After hesitating for a moment, she didn't take any action and started tidying up the house.
While Katniss was tidying up, Nathan came out of his room. He timidly peeked out after opening the door, taking a look at the living room where only Katniss was.
"Kevin left?" Nathan asked Katniss, seemingly confirming.
"He left. Let's have breakfast," Katniss replied without looking back at Nathan, focusing on sweeping the floor. It was unclear whether she didn't want to see Nathan or was too embarrassed due to her desires.
Upon hearing Katniss's words, Nathan confidently came out of his room, still wearing the same pajamas he hadn't changed for who knows how long. Nathan's expression at this moment didn't seem like he had just woken up; it was as if he had been awake for a while. Without looking back at the video, I knew Nathan must have been awake for a long time, hiding in his room until he heard the sound of the door opening and closing before daring to come out.
"I'm going out to buy something. Wait for me to pick you up after breakfast," Nathan said as he walked to the table. Katniss put away the mop, casually telling Nathan, and then took off her apron and went to the door to put on her shoes.
After Katniss put on her shoes, she walked out of the house, only glancing at Nathan once.
After Katniss left, Nathan finally breathed a sigh of relief. When he was about to have breakfast, he realized he hadn't washed up yet. In the past, Nathan wasn't very particular about hygiene habits, probably living the same way on the island. But now, it wasn't acceptable at home, especially with Katniss showing some indifference, making him unable to understand Katniss's intentions. So after thinking for a while, he put down his breakfast, went to the bathroom to freshen up.
After washing his face, Nathan picked up his toothbrush from the cabinet and started brushing his teeth. After brushing his teeth, Nathan wiped his hair and found some dandruff falling. He turned on the hot water and started washing his hair.
After wetting his hair, Nathan lowered his head with his eyes closed to prevent water from getting into his eyes. His hand reached for the shelf of the sink because the shampoo was there, next to our toothbrush cups.
Since Nathan was looking down, he definitely couldn't see what his hand was touching. So when he touched the shampoo, he accidentally knocked over my toothbrush cup into the sink.
Upon hearing the sound, Nathan quickly dried his hair with a towel, took my cup out of the water.
Fortunately, the toothbrush fell outside the sink when it dropped.
Nathan didn't show any surprise, as there are always ups and downs in life. He washed my cup clean, put the toothbrush and toothpaste back into the cup, placed the cup back on the shelf. However, when Nathan placed the cup, he turned it in the opposite direction, with the handle of my cup facing the opposite direction of Katniss's cup.
Nathan continued to wash his hair after fixing it, unaware of the special significance of the cup's placement. He had no idea that this unintentional act of rearranging the cup would lead to unexpected consequences.
After washing his hair, Nathan started having breakfast. At that moment, Katniss also returned with some items.

Katniss bought a lot of daily necessities. After taking off her shoes, she went to the bathroom to freshen up.

After Katniss finished freshening up in the bathroom, she picked up a tissue to dry her hands.

During the process of my leaving in the morning, Katniss had breakfast with me after I freshened up, then cleaned the house. She didn't check the bathroom during this process, probably not expecting me to rearrange the cups on my own, so she didn't bother to check the cups immediately.
Now that she had returned from shopping and unexpectedly saw the cups rearranged, Katniss would definitely think that I had done it.
After pausing for a moment while drying her hands, Katniss began to dry her hands again.
After finishing, Katniss stood in place, looking at the cups. A hint of blush slowly appeared on her face. She put her finger in her mouth, gently biting her nails, showing a mix of surprise, shyness, and hesitation. After all, her sexual encounter with Nathan failed last night, but now she unexpectedly got my permission again. How could Katniss not be excited and surprised? After adjusting her breathing, Katniss walked out of the bathroom again. Perhaps she had already thought about what she might get tonight, something she had longed for. But what Katniss didn't know was that the cups were still in their original positions before she left, and the cup's rearrangement happened a few minutes ago, accidentally touched by Nathan. "I should go back now," Nathan said after finishing breakfast, wiping his mouth with a tissue, then turning to Katniss.
After all, Nathan knew what his mission was when he came home, but since the mission wasn't completed, staying at home now was meaningless. He was also afraid to face me, his biological son. His smile was subtle, but the excitement in his eyes was strong.
