Chapter 152
'Who are you to raise your voice at me? Who the hell do you think you are?" Victoria yelled at the guard who scolded her for laying on the chair in the sitting room.
The guard was surprised to see Victoria react in such manner because she was always very humble and it was unlike her to say such words to him.
'Victoria you know fully well that this is the sitting room and we workers are not allowed to sit there." The guard said to Victoria.
'What? Did you just call me a worker?" Victoria as the guard, angrily.
'Yes I did." The guard responded, surprisingly because of the way she asked him the question.
Victoria stood up from the chair in anger.
'You this senseless piece of trash dare call me a worker, Are you mad?" Victoria asked the guard, angrily pointing her finger at him.
Her harsh words and insults were too much for him to bear that he became really furious.
'Am I the one you are talking to in such a tone and manner Victoria. You even dare to point at me who is old enough to be your father." The guard furiously said to her.
'Hahaha, you are old enough to be my father and so. So? Who cares about that? You want to disrespect and expect me to respect you in return?" Victoria asked the guard, sarcastically
'But I never disrespected you, I only told you to leave the sitting room before the alpha gets bath and meet you there. Is that an insult?" The guard replied to her
'Don't even dare ask me any st*pid question." Victoria shouted as she gave a very angry expression.
Victoria's voice was so loud that the cooks in the kitchen heard. Victoria's Mum was also in the kitchen supervising the cooking when she heard voices coming from the sitting room and her daughter's voice was also heard so she rushed to the sitting immediately to check what was going on there.
'Victoria, do you know who you are talking to right now?" The guard asked Victoria calmly and curiously.
'Yes I know who I am talking to… wait are you trying to say I am insane." Victoria yelled at him, angrily.
'Victoria!!!" Victoria's Mum who was watching them from the passage saw everything, couldn't hold her anger on Victoria so she shouted her name.
Victoria heard her mum's voice and was shocked.
'What is wrong with you Victoria, are you insane? What has come over you? Victoria! Where are your manners?" Her Mum questioned her in anger.
Victoria didn't answer her Mum, she just looked away.
'Am very sorry Sir for my daughter's rude behavior. Pls forgive her since she is only a child." Victoria's mum pleaded with the guard to forgive Victoria.
Victoria walked out as soon as she heard her Mum apologizing to the guard. They both paused and looked at her as she walked pass them.
'No Ma, it's fine I am just concerned about her, she is not always like this. We all know her to be very respectful and obedient. What suddenly came over her?" The guard asked Victoria's Mum.
'I don't know, I just got an information from one of the maids that she also insulted one of the this morning."
'What? The issue must be addressed as soon as possible. What has gotten into her? This is not the sweet Victoria that we used to know" the guard said to her.
'Yes I promise I will go talk to her now and make sure she apologized to the both of you for what she did." Victoria's Mum assured the guard.
'No no I don't even need her to apologize to me all I want her to do is to put herself together and go back to being the Victoria we all use to know." The guard replied Victoria's Mum.
'Thank you very much." Her mum said to him as he went back to his duty post.
Victoria's Mum was so ashamed, she felt so disappointed in Victoria because this was the third person Victoria was disrespecting in the mansion within two days not to even think of the rude way she talked to Desse a day before.
'Ahh" she said in pain as she held her chest and rested on the chair for a little bit so the pain could reduce a little.
One of the maids saw her and rushed to get her a cup of water. She drank it and relax for a while before going upstairs to meet Victoria.
She was about to knock on the door of Victoria's room but her heart was too heavy so she went to her room and sat down for a while.
'Hmmm" she sighed as she began to think of how Desse and Riel would feel when they get the information about what happened earlier today.
'What is wrong with my baby Victoria? Why now?" Victoria's Mum cried in pains as she flashed back to the bad time she passed through with Victoria in the past.
'Maybe it's a trauma from the past. I should have taken her to the hospital for a proper brain check up when Alpha Riel told me too, I should have been much more closer to her. I am a wicked mum." Victoria's Mum blamed herself for everything.
She kept on crying silently so no one passing by her room would hear her. She hit her chest hard and blamed herself for not being a good mum to her daughter.
She remembered when they had nothing to eat and his Riel and Desse helped them and took them in without checking their background. She began to hurt from inside.
'His please see my daughter Victoria through. I don't know what she is going through now or what's is happening in her head right now but I pray you help her out. She is a good girl I promise." Victoria's Mum prayed as she cried out.
'Eeeeyy" Victoria cried as she held her mouth tightly with her hands so her mum wouldn't notice.
She had hidden in the bathroom when she noticed her mum entering the room. When she left her mum and the guard in the sitting room earlier she wanted to go to her room but she felt her mum was going to come straight to her room and scold her for what she did. She decided to come straight to her Mum's room because she felt her Mum won't come there even if she didn't meet her in her own room.
Victoria finally allowed her mom to see her, then her mom apologized to her for not being a good mother to her all these while, both of them cried and hugged each other.
Riel and Desse were watching them from afar and they felt goosebumps around them seeing the mother and daughter.
'One day I hope we can talk to our son just like this." Desse said as a soft smile escaped her lips.
