Chapter 45
**In the masters bedroom**
The light of dawn seeped into the room and woke her up. She stretched her hand and felt the cool morning breeze. She then walked towards the window and opened the cotton.
'Wow, what a beautiful morning it is." Desse said to herself as she viewed the environment.
'Why is everywhere so lousy like they have all started working. What could be the time? Desse said to herself as she ran to check the wall clock in the room.
'Ten o'clock!!" She shouted as she immediately rushed to the bathroom to take her bath.
As she was taking her bath she kept on thinking of the reason why Riel didn't wake her up before stepping out. She was already rehearsing her words for him when she met him before she saw a note he wrote for her under her bottle of cream.
~ 'I am sorry for not waking you up before leaving, it's just 4:30an and I know it is still very early for me to wake you due to how tired you are. I know waking wouldn't be a good idea, that's why I had to leave a note for you. Early this morning one of the guards knocked at the door and I opened it. He brought to my notice that Louis medication is finished so I had to rush down to get it as soon as possible. I know you will be wondering how I will get there knowing fully well I have only been there once since his illness started and you have been the one getting it for him. I will be going with your personal driver. He said he knows the place very well. I promise to be back before dawn. FROM YOUR ONE AND ONLY HUSBAND ALPHA Riel." ~
'Awwwn, I can't believe I am actually blushing so hard because of an ordinary letter." Desse said to herself while hugging the letter and still blushing really hard.
'Hahaha, does he necessarily have to put Alpha in front of his name? I already know he is an Alpha, hmm this man." Desse said to herself as she dropped the letter and rubbed the cream on her body.
**Back in the sitting room**
'Ma'am Desse good morning Ma" Christabel greeted Desse in a very special way, using a different ascent and bowing down for her. It was really unlike her.
'Good morning to you too baby and how are you doing today my princess?" Desse asked her, blushing in a sweet and calm tone.
'I am very well thank you and you." She replied to her still using that same weird ascent.
Desse stopped and stared at her before answering her.
'I am fine thank you."
'Okay ma'am that's very good to hear."
'Hmmm鈥� so what's wrong with your ascent like I noticed your ascent is鈥�" Desse asked her, stammering.
'Haha, so you noticed my new ascent ma'am? Christabel laughed and asked Desse, happily because she didn't know Desse would notice it.
'Yes baby I noticed it and what's with the sudden change of ascent?"
'Well you know our visitor will be coming anytime soon and he is coming from a different place where there language and accent is different so we thought of giving him a warm and enlightening welcome."
'Mmm, I never thought of that."
'Imagine him coming and we all use his country's ascent to welcome him. He would be so happy and it would even make him feel at home, but you know we can't say it for too long so we would just have to speak it the first day."
'Wow that's so thoughtful of you people, Riel would be so happy to hear this." Desse said to her as she still couldn't hold back her smile.
'So who's idea was this?" Desse asked her.
'It was Mr Stephen's idea."
'Really, So the whole ascent thing was his idea."
'Yes Ma'am,"
'That's really thoughtful of him." Desse said to Christabel.
One of the guards needed someone urgently to do something for him so he called out to Christabel not knowing she was talking to Christabel.
'Am sorry ma'am I have to leave now."
'Okay baby, no problem, you can go and answer him now." Desse said to herself as Christabel ran fast to go and answer the guard.
Desse walked around to inspect them, but today it seemed like they were doing better even without her inspection.
'Oh my God, who did this." Desse shouted as she saw the artwork of Mr Paul.
'Good day Ma, we actually don't know who drew it but it was the chief guard that told us to hang it in." One of the guards replied with his head bowed low.
'Okay, it is really beautiful. It looks so much like him." Desse said to them as she touched the artwork.
She left them and went to another set of people to check what they were doing. It kept on amazing her how fast they have gone even without her help.
'It's just 11:05am and they are already doing this well, if Riel was not around I would have thought he was the one supervising them. They are all working well and they are doing it so efficiently. There must be someone directing them." Desse said to herself as she saw them unboxing some newly bought items.
As She passed each set of people to check what they were doi, they would all stop to greet and then immediately carry on with what they were doing. She was just so amazed to see them carry out their duties effectively even during her absence.
'I would like to see what they are doing in the kitchen, I think that's the only place I really did not check yesterday."." Desse said to herself as she went to the kitchen to see how far they had gone.
When Desse got to the kitchen, she stood behind the door and was watching what they were doing. To her greatest surprise Christabel's mum was the one directing them and they all obeyed her, although she was the chief cook and it was part of her duty to carry out. As soon as one of the cooks sighted her she immediately signaled the rest and they all bowed and greeted her. And when they were done greeting they went back to what they were doing while she had a little conversation with Christabel's mum before leaving the kitchen.
