Chapter 25
'Good morning darling" Riel said, kissing Desse on her forehead, serving her breakfast in bed.
'Good more love" Desse replied with a big smile on her face.
She was so happy and excited the moment she saw a tray of food in his hands because it's been long they spent time together as couples and breakfast in bed was definitely a goo idea to her because it's got a way of exciting her.
'Hmm鈥� Breakfast in bed ' she said blushing. It was so obvious that she was really happy to have breakfast in bed.
Riel could tell she loved his treats looking at her face. Her face was read and her eyes where brighten as a sign of excitement.
'Yes darling, it been a long time since we had such a nice time together as couples." Riel said to her while turning the cup of hot tea.
Riel fed her the cup of tea, she kept on blushing.
'If you keep blushing like this you will turn red throughout the day" Riel teased her.
'Stop, I just feel鈥�" she stammered, still blushing.
'Hmm you just feel what, I am your husband so you don't need to be shy around me, okay" he teased her again.
Desse gave him a weird look like she was going to hit him if he teased her again so he stopped teasing her and enjoyed the moment.
He opened the windows and spread the cotton. The swimming pool was located very close to the room which had a very cool breeze. The breeze would blow heavily at times and spread the cottons.
'Darling, I think we should go to the cinema after this to watch a movie, ' Riel suggested.
'Really, if you say so I will love to go especially if it's your treat" Desse answered happily.
'You always like it when it's a treat," Riel teased her again.
'Can you stop teasing me already?" She asked as she folded her hands, rolling her eyeballs and looking away.
'No I won't" he answered, pinching her cheeks.
She looked at him and looked away again. He then called her name and said some words that made her smile and continued eating.
'Darling, do you know how pretty you look right now?" He asked, glancing at her.
'Awwwn, stop it. You are making blush even harder" she pleaded with him while smiling.
'But seriously darling, you look so pretty your face is glowing so hard and your eye is shining brightly even your skin is really popping" he continued but this time around he wasn't teasing her but stating the facts.
'Awwwn" she commented while touching her cheeks.
'Thanks love, but I think you are exaggerating a little. I know I my skin might be popping but my face would not" she said to her like she was teasing him.
'Hmm鈥� and who said your face couldn't pop?" He asked her eagerly.
'Nobody my love, but you know how stressed I have been this past few day so it's not even possible that my face is glowing ' she replied.
'I don't know what you think but this face that I am seeing right here is glowing effortlessly, just so you know" he assured her.
His words made her blush even harder this time around. She kept on using her hands to cover her face like she was shy.
'That darling" she said as the both kissed.
Minutes later they were done eating and it was time to have their bath, dress up and go watch a movie in the cinema. Desse and Riel were so happy to be back to their old self where everything was simple they laughed a lot, went out together on either vacation or parties or outings just anything, anything that made them happy as a family.
'Must you always take forever before you finish dressing up" Riel complained.
This was his third time coming upstairs to check what she was doing. He had finished preparing hours ago but she was still doing her makeup even though he told her not to, that she looked good even without the makeup.
'I am sorry dear please give me hmmm鈥� five minutes more" Desse pleaded.
Riel looked at the time on the wristwatch on his wrist and said to her.
'This were the exact words you said to me an hour ago. I don't know why you insist on doing makeup even when I already told you that you look so pretty even without makeup" in a low and kind of disappointed tone.
'Darling, I think I already told you that I know I look good without the makeup but you know I love to look really pretty and never get caught unfresh. And you know I have been stressed lately, I can't even afford to go out with my natural face. It looks really pale" Desse said as she hurried with what she was doing.
'You look good already babe" Riel said to her as she stood up to check her face in the mirror.
'Yh I know that and that because I am done. Hmm鈥� I think I should鈥�" Desse murmured as she stared in the mirror.
'What again?" he asked her.
'Calm down Sir I am done I was just checking myself to see if I need to touch anything. Ehhh鈥� I don't think there is anything wrong so鈥� I鈥� can you please help me untie the rope at the back." Desse begged Riel as she turned round so he could untied the rope and she would be able to remove the apron she wore before starting the makeup. It was to protect her clothes from being stained.
Minutes later she was done and they both went downstairs together. They gave some orders to the necessary maids and guards to make sure everything was okay even when they are not around. As they were about to leave Christabel saw them from upstairs and shouted.
'Madam Desse are you going out with Sir Riel?" She asked in a very loud tone.
'Yes Christabel we are!" Desse replied.
'Okay, please don't forget to get something for me in your way back!" She reminded them.
'Okay baby, I promise I won't forget ' she replied smiling as they both stepped out of the mansion laughing together.
