Chapter 42
'Ray! Riel!!" Desse shouted Riel's name as she was climbing the stairs that led to Riel's study.
Riel was in his study going through his system as usual, when he heard Desse call him. He stood up immediately and went to meet her. As he was going out of his study he jammed Desse who was running inside his study.
'Oh my! Am sorry darling I never knew you were already this close." Riel apologized to Desse after hitting her while forcing his way out.
'It's okay, it was not really your fault. I am also sorry because I was running inside I didn't even notice you were coming outside." Desse also apologized to him while touching her forehead.
'What wrong does it hurt?" Riel asked her eagerly as he tried removing her hand so he could see the place clearly.
'Yes it hurts really well. I think it's the buttons on your shirt that hit me hard."
'Oh my sorry darling, it already turned red. But it seemed it because you scratched it too much."
'No that's not true I didn't even scratch it too much."
'Sorry dear, that's why it is good to be tall because if you were tall now my button would have not hit you on your forehead." Riel teased her as they both went inside his study.
Desse kept on scratching the forehead and it became more red.
'Do you want to be to get you block so you can place on it on it or get you some relief medicine? '
'No that won't be necessary, it will heal very soon."
'No I won't get that from you, you need to see your whole face right now. It has literally turned red." Riel said as he rushed out to get some block.
'Seriously, but it isn't even that painful, it's just inching me, that's all." Desse said to her as she kept on wondering how her entire face would be red because of this little accident.
Few seconds later Riel came in with a block of towel and gave it to Desse so she could place it on the injured part.
'Here you go." Riel said to Desse as he handed over the block to her.
'This was actually not necessary, the pain is gone already." She said to him as she collected the block from him and placed it on the affected part.
Riel grabbed a chair and brought it closer to Desse.
'Sorry darling, remove the block first, let me see whether it's still red." Riel said to Desse as he held her hand and checked if it was still red.
'I doubt it would still be red because I don't feel the pain anymore." Desse replied.
'Yh it not really that red anymore but you can still plce the block on it a little more.
'Ok, yes let me tell you the reason why I was running and shouting your name from the stairs." She said to him happily.
'Alright, I am all ears." Riel replied to her as he was also very eager to hear what she wanted to tell him that was so urgent to the extent she had to run.
'Well鈥� hm.. hmm...I just got a call from Mr Paul's manager as he said they have finally agreed on the date he would be coming to see us." Desse said to him excitingly.
'Really, that's really good news indeed." Riel said to her excitingly in a very happy tone and a smile on his face.
'Yes darling, I was so surprised when I received the call because I wasn't even expecting it any time soon, you know how busy he is, especially during this time of the year."
'I can imagine, so what date did he pick?"
'His manager said he would be meeting with us on the last Saturday of this month. That in the next ten day, hmmm鈥� yes in the next ten days." Desse replied to him as she removed the block from her face.
She stood up from her chair and went to keep the block in the washing hand bazen and came back to sit on her chair.
'Wow that's actually close, I thought he was going to say may in two to three weeks time."
'Same here I thought he was going to even tell me in one month time but to my greatest surprise it's in ten days time."
'Wow, we have a lot of things to prepare before his arrival."
'Yes Ray, we have a lot to prepare for his arrival and I don't even know where to start from."
'Desse, calm down, you know we are in this together."
'Thanks for supporting me on this one."
'Seriously, you are thanking me for supporting you in looking for a cure to our son's health. Common stop it, I know you have always wanted to work with Mr Paul since when you were little. But I know your main reason for pushing harder and making him accept our proposal is because of our son Louis."
'I know you are smart and you will definitely find out but I still want to thank you."
'Stop it, Desse, you know Louis is also my son." He said to her in a sweet and calm tone coming really close to her.
They both looked at each other in the eye seductively before Desse gave him a kiss on his lips.
'So did he tell you how many days he would be spending over here?" Riel asked Desse as he stopped staring at her seductively and comported himself.
'Yes dear, he said for three days." Desse replied to him and stood up from the chair.
'Just three days?"
'Yes, what happened? To me three days is even more than enough for us."
'Really, if you say so then. It's just that I thought he would be spending at least five days to one week with us."
'Same here but three days is still enough for us.
Riel didn't want to keep an eye contact with her because he knew if he did it would lead to something else and he wasn't sure if Desse was ready for that now. But Desse already understand what was going on so she decided to ask him.
'Riel are you still busy or you would like鈥� to.. hmm鈥� follow me to our room?" She pulled his shirt closer and asked him seductively.
Riel who was already in the mood quickly followed her to the room before she changed her mind.
