Chapter 47
**In the mansion**
Desse had just finished having a conversation with Stephen. She kept on thinking of what she could use to pay him back for his kindness when she ran into Christabel.
'Ohh my, did I hurt you baby?" She asked Christabel after bumping into her because she was deeply in thought and was not able to see her when she was coming.
'No Ma'am, I am sorry I didn't check my front when I was running." Christabel replied to her in a remorseful tone.
'No problem baby, I also was not checking where I was going because I was deeply in thought. I am also sorry I didn't check my front while working." Desse also apologized.
'No no ma'am, please don't apologize to me"
'Why shouldn't I apologize, you apologized first and I was also wrong so I have to apologize."
'But you are the Alpha's wife."
'Whenever your mum offends you, doesn't she apologize." She asked Christabel in a sweet tone.
'Yes she does apologize to me at times but sometimes she doesn't. Sometimes whenever she does something that she knows pisses me off or gets me angry she would just pretend and pass the blame on me." Christabel laughed and said to Desse
'Christabel, I would tell your mummy what you just said."
'What! Please don't do that. She wouldn't like it if you told her about it." Christabel pleading with Desse.
Christabel kept on pleading with her, she kept on giving her weight expressions.
'Okay, it's fine I promise I would not tell her about it." Desse assured Christabel after so much pleading from her.
'Thank you, thank you so much. You are the best aunt in the world." Christabel said to Desse, joyfully as she jumped in her.
'Hmm, so I am now your aunty?" She asked her, curiously.
'Yes you are my aunt."
'Well I thought I was your best friend"
'Yes you are my aunt, best friend and you are also my mummy." Christabel said to Desse excitingly.
'Awwwn, only me all this '
'Yes bestie '
'Ehhhh"
'Hahaha, I said that because I wanted to see the expression on your face," she replied happily.
The both of them laughed together for a while, Christabel's laugh was so contagious that it made Desse laugh harder even when she knew nothing was funny.
'So where were you heading to before I bumped into you" Desse asked Christabel when they both stopped laughing.
'I was actually running to come and meet you because I wanted to see you" Christabel replied.
'You were coming to see me?"
'Yes Ma'am '
'Okay, what's wrong? Hope there is no problem?" Desse asked curiously as she took Christabel to the dining so they could go and sit down and talk very well.
Desse had been standing for a while now and her legs were already hurting. The dining room was not far from where they were so Desse held Christabel's hands and took her to the dining room that was vacant at that moment.
'Am all ears, baby, tell me what is so urgent that you want to tell me." Desse said to Christabel as they both settled down on the dining table.
'I don't know how you are going to feel about this but鈥�"
'Common Christabel, go ahead you know that even if I don't like the idea but the fact that it came from my baby girl I would definitely have a rethink on it."
'Okay if you say so"
'Go ahead, my ears are itching already."
'Me and my mummy already collected the money that man promised to give us for the damages."
'Yh I already know about that."
'Okay, so we decided to use it to invest in a fruit juice company because of my love for fruit juice without telling you we are very sorry about that." Christabel said to her, frighteningly because she didn't know Desse was going to take it.
'That's not a problem darling, in fact it's a very good step and I am really proud of you and your Mum, but does your mother know about this? Is she aware that you were going to tell me about this? Desse replied and asked her a question, calmly.
'No Ma, she doesn't know that I was going to tell you about it but I know my mummy wants to tell you but she is just scared of how you will take it."
'Hmm, so you decided to tell me because you don't know if your Mum will Evers summon the courage to tell me about it right?"
'Yes ma'am Desse '
'Okay baby, that's very thoughtful of you, continue."
'So today we had a call from them, they said as one of their sponsors they would be supplying us 50 packs of the juice." Christabel said to Desse excitingly.
'Wow, oh my God, are you being serious right now? 50 packs!!" Desse asked Christabel in a very loud tone
'Yes Ma'am, so my mum and I thought it would be really nice of us if we shared it amongst ourselves in the mansion. I know how stressful it has been for us all in the mansion. A bottle of the fruit juice would really be helpful to us all because it's not just good for relaxing, it also gives energy and it would really help them work more efficiently."
'You are such a nice girl and that is why I love you so much. This is so thoughtful of you, putting others first is the first example of a good leader and your mum just proved to me that she is one."
'Really so you are not angry with us?"
'Yes baby, not at all. Instead I am really happy with you." Desse said to Christabel as she gave her a hug.
Desse was so happy because she was also thinking of a way to motivate them and this was the best way to do so. She went to meet Christabel's Mum and thanked her for putting the workers in mind. Christabel's Mum was angry with Christabel at first for not telling her about her plans and telling Desse about their plans.
Desse told them to come on with the juice and distribute it to all of them and all the workers where her happy about that.
