Chapter 23
'I want to see my mummy!" Louis shouted.
'Please calm down Louis, I will go and call your daddy for you, okay." One of the guards who came earlier to check up on him said to him.
'No I don't want to see my daddy, it's my mummy I want to see now" Louis cried out.
Desse and Riel ran very fast to the three floors where the noise was coming from. As soon as they got there Desse stopped by the door while Riel went in to see what the problem was.
Louis did not want to hear what the security was saying to him he only concern was him seeing his mummy. Immediately he sighted his daddy (Riel) he ran to meet him, he hugged his dad and pleaded with him to call his mummy. Riel was so confused he did not know what to say to Louis, he tried ignoring him but he kept on insisting on seeing his mummy.
'Louis my boy, daddy is here for you" Riel said to him in a calm voice.
'Daddy why is mummy not coming to see me? Is she not going to ever forgive me for what I did" Louis asked him.
'My son, you know mummy will never be angry with you forever. I told you she traveled and I promise you when she is around she would come see you immediately okay" he lied to him.
'Daddy I know mummy too well, she would never leave me to myself for a day but ever since that accident with her maid, I have been locked up here. She has never come to see me and she does not care for me anymore." Louis said to his Riel in a very sad tone.
Desse who overheard the whole conversation from the door was already feeling very emotional. She wished she could go in there right now and give him a big hug.
Christabel's Mum heard about what was going on and decided to go check what was happening. When she got there she met some maid and Desse at the door. The maid was standing by the side of Desse while Desse was peeping through the hole in the door to see what was going on inside so she decided to stay with them.
'No dear, you know that's not true. My lovely son Louis I want you to always have this in mind. Your mummy loves you so much more than you can ever imagine, you are her precious jewel and she would never want to see you get hurt or worry too much when she is not around." Riel assures Louis as he hugged him.
Desse, Christabel's Mum and the maids who were at the door and heard the whole conversation could not hold on to their tears anymore they all bursted into tears.
Riel tried so hard to hold his tears because Louis was there and he would not want to see him cry so his daddy cried.
'Daddy" Louis called his Riel
'Yes dear" he replied.
'I miss mummy so much, I want her to carry me on her legs, back me on her back and also give me big hugs. I want mummy to feed me in the morning, afternoon and also in the night. I want her to call me Ro Roh like she always does. I want her to come and shop in different stores then go to the nearest restaurant and have lunch together like we normally do. I also want her to come see me soon so we could play boy and swim together in our leisure time. Daddy
miss being you and mummy's little boy that you would not do without" Louis said to Riel sadly as a few drops of tears welled down his cheeks.
Desse, Christabel's Mum and the maid cried even harder after hearing Louis saying those words. Christabel mummy did not want to cry at first but as she tried comforting Desse she couldn't bear it anymore.
Riel who tried so hard to hold back his tears could not do so any more. The tears welled down heavily, he hugged Louis who was also crying very tightly so he wouldn't see him cry.
'My lovely son Louis, you are and would forever be mummy and daddy's little boy who they cherish and care for a lot.
Louis cried even louder after hearing his daddy.
Soon after they all stopped crying. The maids and Christabel's Mum escorted Christabel downstairs to her room to have some rest and relax a little while Riel took Louis to his bed, told him some stories and sang for him before he slept.
'What a day" Riel said to himself as he came down the stairs to his room. When he got to his room he saw his Desse lying down, he shut the door quietly and walked in gently so that he wouldn't wake her not knowing that she wasn't sleeping. He was shocked as he came closer and noticed that her eyes where wide open but she was very deep in thought so she didn't realize he already came in.
'Desse!" He called out her name.
'Oh Riel, you startled me" she replied in shock.
Desse was surprised to see that he was back so soon.
'What happened? Did he sleep already or you got tired and couldn't keep up with him" Desse questioned him.
Riel was not taking those questions likely at all in fact the questions got him really pissed off.
'What do you mean by that Desse? Why would you even think I would get tired of our son or abandon our son" Riel asked angrily.
'Oh no Riel, calm down, that was not how I meant it and you know that too well. I was only surprised that you came back earlier than I expected that was why I asked." Desse explained to him but that didn't stop him from being angry.
Desse tried calming him but he was still pissed with her and decided to leave the room for her.
