Chapter 21
'Christabel!!! Don't go in!!!" One of the maids said to Christabel the moment she saw her in front of Louis's room.
Desse and Riel were both in their various study's when they heard the loud noise from the made and ran to see what was going on.

This was the first time Christabel came to the third floor of the mansion, she was still not used to knowing everywhere in the mansion so she was lost. She saw a staircase leading upstairs and another leading downstairs to where she was coming from, as she was thinking which of the stairs would lead her to her room she sighted a door and decided to see what was in there, maybe it could lead her to her room. As she opened the door the air which she breathed changed, this part of the mansion was like a paradise. Everything was clear and clean.
'Wow" she said with a surprised look on her face.
She wondered who was living there because she never saw Riel or his wife go to the third floor. They were different places there, somewhere full with toys and some had pictures of Riel and his wife Desse. There was a place which looked like the living room because it had a very big television but it had no chairs where you could sit and watch. As she went further she saw a door.
'A door?" She asked herself.
She was about to open the door when heard a boy singing. He sounded like he would probably be her age mate or a bit older than her. So she decided to knock.
'Yes, I think I should knock first. '' She said to herself again
She was about to knock when she saw a hole on the door and peeped through it. It was a boy who sat on the bed dressed in clean and adorable clothings. He looked like a good person, he was very handsome and he looked like someone who was sick or had just recovered from a sickness because his eyes looked pale. His voice sounded so sweet and calm in her ear she had never heard such a beautiful voice in her life. She wished he could continued singing without stopping. She sat in front of the door and placed her ear on the door so she could hear him clearly.
Minutes later he stopped singing, she was so shocked when she noticed he wasn't singing anymore.
'Please can you continue singing, I love your voice" Christabel shouted from the door.
Louis was so shocked when he heard her voice because for more than a year now he had not heard a female voice.
'Who is there?" He said in a shaking voice.
Christabel peeped through the window and saw him approaching the door. She was so frightened when she saw his eyes turned red so she didn't reply.
'Oh no, who could he be?" She said to herself as ran away from there.
'Whoever you are please don't go, don't leave me here" Louis shouted so she could hear him after hearing her footsteps.
Christabel heard him and came back to the door tip toeing so he would not follow in her footsteps. She went very close to the door and peeped through the hole to see him, she noticed the red eye was no longer there and had already turned to normal eyes.
'What just happened his eyes were red before but not it's normal ' she said to herself with a very low tone as she used her hands to clean her eyes peeped through the hole again to see if o eye where deceiving her.
'Hello! Is anybody there?" Louis asked when he could not hear anything from her again.
Christabel hesitated for a while before answering him.
'Yes, I am still her" in a low tone still in shock.
'Okay thanks for staying behind and not leaving me like everybody has" he said in a very sad tone.
There was a few minutes of silence until Christabel broke it with a question. 'Who are you?"
Louis was surprised to hear such a question from somebody in the mansion.
'Are you new in the mansion?" He asked
'Yes I am. My mum and I came in a few months ago" she replied.
They felt comfortable with each other so they both sat down in front of the door and placed their ear on the door so that they could hear each other clearly.
'Okay, so who is your mother?" He asked again.
'Hmm鈥� my mum is a cook in the mansion" she replied.
'I asked you a question and you are yet to answer me. Who are you? And why are you locked up here" she asked again.
Louis waited for a while before answering the questions.
'I am Louis the only child to the owner of this mansion" he said boldly.
Christabel was surprised to know who he was. She remembered few months back when Desse and Riel had warned her not to go to the third floor of the mansion. They told she and her mother that their son lived there and he would die iohe sees a female. Christabel was so confused at this point she remembered what happened earlier how his eyes turned red and went back to normal.
'What!! You are the son of madam Desse and Sir Riel?" She yelled.
'Yes I am. But why are you so upset about that? Is anything wrong?" He replied and asked her another questions.
'No there is no problem it's just that I have to start going your Mum and my Mum must be worried right now" she said as she stood up.
'Are you also going to leave me here?" Louis asked her sadly.
Christabel tried to explain better to him but she didn't know how to put the words in a way that would not get him upset.
'I am sorry but I have to go now" she said to him as she ran out. She got outside and stood in front of the door still holding the door holder when the made saw her.
