**At Riel's study**
'Riel, please can you at least talk to me, I have trying to talk to you but you keep acting like you can't see me." Desse said as she Riel in a calm tone as she sat down on a chair in front of the him.
Riel heard her but he pretended like he didn't hear her and focused on his laptop.
'Darling, it's been three days now and you haven't said a word to me. I have apologize to you countless times but won't even accept my apology." She said to him in a calm tone as he tried to hold his hands but he pulled his hands back.
'Ray, my love, my sweetheart, Rielddd." She praised him in a sweet and sexy tone.
Riel tried so hard not to smile because her praises were really getting to his head.
'Riel, I am talking to you. Is this how an Alpha treats his wife?" Desse asked him but he still didn't reply her.
He was about to say something before his phone rang so he picked it up and answered the phone. The expression on his face showed that whoever he was on the phone with told him a good news.
'Seriously? I have been in front of you for hours begging and also trying to make you smile but all to no avail but just one call from God know who and you are blushing and smiling like someone who just fell in love."
She said to him and stopped to stare at him
'Riel! Don't tell me you are cheating on me, do you have someone you are seeing outside."
'Riel! I am talking to you and I demand a response immediately." Desse shouted at him as she stood up and closed the laptop in front of him.
Riel could help but laugh.
'Why are you laughing? What is making you laugh did I say anything funny." She asked him angrily.
'You really need to see the expression on your face right now. You look like a nagging wicked wife." Riel teased her as he continued laughing really hard.
'Are you being serious right now?"
'So I can't smile after receiving a phone call '
'I never said you can't"
'So what's with the sudden anger" Riel asked curiously.
'Nothing it just鈥�. Now that I got you attention is that a sign that you have forgiven me?" Desse asked him, happily.
'And who says I was angry with you in the first place? I only did that so you could brazen up and be yourself again and I knew this was the only method I could use on you."
'Are you serious?"
'Yes I am, but actually I was angry at first because you really hurt my pride by disrespecting me but after you apologized I swear I forgave you. You know I can't get angry with you for too long."
'Thanks darling, I love you so much." Desse said as she stood up and gave him a big hug.
'Wait, Desse please stop I can't breathe鈥� you are choking me." He said to her as she tried pushing her back a little.
'Sorry my love, I really missed you this past few days. You won't believe how boring the mansion has been for me." Desse said as she stopped hugging him and adjusted his collar.
'Hmm鈥� really"
'Yes darling '
'You that was always chatting with Christabel disturbing peace of the mansion with your loud voices and laughter also trying to make me feel jealous. I knew exactly what you were doing but I didn't have your time so I just ignored." Riel said to her, sarcastically.
'Ray!"
'What? Am I lying?"
'I don't have an answer to that because it seems to me that whatever I say now does not matter because you already concluded stuff in your head."
'Hmmm鈥� don't change even try to change the topic, you know I am not lying."
'Whatever."
'Suit yourself, before I forget I have good news for you." Riel said to her, excitingly.
'Really, hmm鈥� tell me already, please don't tell me to guess because my head is not booting right now." Desse replied him and was so eager to her what the good news was.
'Okay, I was going to tell you to guess earlier but since you said you don't want to I won't bother you. I will go straight to the point."
'Fine, please go ahead and say it already my ears are inching."
'You know that company we discussed about few months ago, that I said if they agree to our terms and conditions it would be really favorable not only to us but also to our society. It would help reduce the poverty and also the death rate in our community. They were the ones who called the other time. They called to tell me they have agreed and they are now ready to partner with us." Riel broke the good news to her excitingly.
'Ahhhh" Desse screamed out loud as she ran hug him.
'I am so happy for you darling, you are indeed a great Alpha." Desse praised with a big smile on his face.
'You know all this wouldn't have been possible without your help. Thank you very much."
'I think this calls for a celebration."
'I know right, but it would have to wait until I come back because I think it time for Louis to have his lunch." Riel said as he checked the time in the wristwatch on his wrist.
'Yh, it time. I already prepared his favorite for him and I don't wantit to get cold because I know he won't enjoy it when its cold. Pleas give him a kiss on his head for me and tell him I love and miss him so much."
'Yes I promise I will. Thanks for preparing his favorite , it's been a while since you last cook for him you know. He will be so happy when he see the food because he knows that you are the only one that knows how to prepare his favorite." Riel as as he went closer to her and gave her a hug happily.
Desse gave a kiss on his lips and a peck on his forehead before he left for Louis's room.
