Chapter 97:

Alley POV:

They laid their bodies down on the ground, holy fuck it worked! "Jeremy, say something to them." I nudged him. He looked a little lost in words, I walked towards the rogue in the front. "Alley..:" Denver called. "It's okay." I replied. "SHIFT" I commanded. The rogue in front shook at my words but shifted back into a man. "Stand to your feet and tell me your name." I said, I could feel the power rolling off me in waves and the power behind my voice thanks to Rose. "I am Nate." He replied. "Nate. Do you know who that is?" I asked, pointing to Jeremys massive wolf. "I feel as if I should know him.." Nate said, studying the wolf who quickly shifted revealing Jeremy. "It's the king.." "Our long lost king.." "Bosch said he had our king.." Wait what? That one caught my attention. "You, come forward and repeat what you just said." I said looking at a frail looking woman. "Bosch.. He. He said that he had our king.. and if we didn't fight he would kill our long lost king.." She said as she stared at Jeremy. What the hell? I looked back at Jeremy who looked pissed off. "How many more are with him?" Jeremy asked, stepping forward. "Roughly 150 more including our children my king." Nate replied, lowering his head. Jeremy grabbed my arm and pulled me backwards and Denver growled. "Oh shut up and get over here." Jeremy snapped.
I mentally face palmed. This is not the time to get into a pissing contest. "What the hell are we supposed to do?" Jeremy asked. Collin and Stephen shifted back as the others arrived at our sides. "They need to go back and act like normal." I said. Jeremy looked at me like I grew a second head. "They need to be able to get their children and bring them to us safely. Once all the children are safe they can join us." I replied, answering his questions I knew he had. "That is a good idea actually. It won't be long before Bosch attacks again." Emma stated. "We could use this as a surprise attack against Bosch in the battle." Jeremy said, scrunching his face. "If he thinks they are still on his side they can get the jump on him before we do." Jeremy finished. "Nate come here please." I said looking over my shoulder, he quickly walked over keeping his head low. "Does Bosch see the children? Like interact with them?" Jeremy asked. "No my king, we have them hidden away from him. He doesn't like kids." Nate said. "Bring the children to us but I need y'all to stay put until the battle." Jeremy stated. Nate snapped his head up. "What do you mean?" Nate asked. "Do y'all not know about the battle?" I asked. "We do but why do we need to stay?" Nate asked.
"Because Bosch doesn't know I am still alive. Your children will be safe with us that I can promise you." Jeremy said. "I have heard of the great white witch and the ones who were sent out never made it back.. Is she real." Nate asked. I couldn't help the snort that came out of me. "Yes, I am very much real." I said, smiling at him. His face paled at my words, "There is no reason to fear me. We don't want innocent people caught in the cross fire. We want the children brought to us, they will be protected behind our shield, they will be fed and bathed and safe." I replied softly. "I oddly believe you.. we will have the children sent over tonight when he is asleep. Then what?" Nate asked. "You all stay put, make him believe you are all still on his side and when it comes time for the battle you will all have the upper hand at a true surprise attack." Jeremy stated. "Yes my king." Nate said, bowing his head. "I will let you tell the others so they will know." I said to Jeremy, stepping out of his way so he could address his pack. I turned my attention to the others, "Are you all alright?" I asked everyone. A few of them had some cuts and bruises but overall looked in good shape. Jasmine wrapped me up in a tight grip, "Thank you for saving my Collin." She whispered in my ear. As soon as she stepped away Collin walked up to me and hugged me, "Thank you Alley. I owe you." He said, stepping back.
"You don't owe me anything, it is my duty to heal and protect." I replied. Jeremy came back to our side. "When it is done, they will bring the children in a few hours." Jeremy said. "Alright well let's go home then and prepare some food and beds." I said grabbing on to Jeremy and Stephen and teleported us back home to a waiting Cassandra. "Are you okay??" She said as she rushed over to him, we left them alone while we went to round up the omegas. We need to get a move on in order to have everything ready by the time the children get here. I wonder how many of them they will bring. Either way it's better to over prepare than to under prepare.
