Chapter 83:
Stephens POV:
The second I heard Alley growl everyone stopped. It was loud enough to shake the ground. My eyes laid on Bosch himself and I knew there was going to be a standoff. "We have to get to her!" Denver shouted at me throughout our link. "We can't! You know she is the only one, as much as I hate it we can't." I replied brokenly. As much as I hated it and I did hate it so much I knew I couldn't stand against him. While everyone stopped to look on we started ripping them apart one by one, the rogue closest to me reached for my throat, I grabbed his arm and pinned it behind him while I reached out claws out, tearing open his throat. "FUCK!" I heard Alley yell, my head snapped towards her and I watched as she hit the ground. "You're a dick." She spat before his arms were engulfed in flames. Holy shit! She was pissed, her eyes were bright red and her hair flowed around her, roots sprang from the ground and trapped his legs. "You think you can beat me?" Bosch spat as the roots tightened around his legs, "I know I can but right in this moment no, I'm not trying too." Alley replied, her eyes swirled green and red. I looked around to see everyone had started disappearing, that means they got the job done. I took a step forward and Alley's eyes met mine. "Sammie get Stephen and the others out of here!" Alley yelled through the link, my eyes widened and before I could even protest I was back in the house. "NO! TAKE ME BACK!" I yelled. "I can't take you back, she will be fine Jack is with her." Sammie said. "No fucking way! Why would she send me back?! What the fuck!" I shouted, Denver was close to surfacing as my body started to shake.
"Stephen you have to calm down." Josh stated taking a step forward. "Do not tell me to calm down!" I spat. I felt like I couldn't breathe. What if something happened to her? I am not there to help her! I need to be there! Before I could even take a step forward Alley and Jack appeared in the house. Alley started to sway and I darted forward. "Alley!" I yelled as her eyes rolled to the back of her head. I caught her just before she hit the ground. "What happened?! Alley! Princess please wake up." I stated rubbing her cheek. I picked her up and ran to our room and laid her on the bed. "Julie get here now! Alley in unconscious in the bed!" I shouted through the link. "On my way Alpha '' Julie replied. I felt a tear roll down my face. Why is she not waking up? What the hell happened? I heard footsteps rushing through the hall, I looked up to see Julie barge through the door followed by our group of friends. "What the hell happened? I told her to rest!" Julie grumbled. "She healed, we had to make a rescue for her best friend and Bosch showed up and the fought." I replied, looking at Jack. "What happened?" I asked him.
He drew in a long breath, "After you were sent back she used a lot of energy, she engulfed him in flames and wrapped water around his head and told him if he survived she would give him a fair chance at a fight with her. I could feel the anger rolling off her in waves." He replied. I pinched the bridge of my nose. So he didn't hurt her. Thank the goddess. I watched as Julie checked her over. "She should be fine, heartbeat is a little high but nothing too serious, blood pressure is fine for now. I will check up on her every few hours." Julie said packing all her things back up. "Did we get Leia at least?" I asked. "Yes, Jasmine and I took her to Pythia, she is with them and they will start the spell removal." Emma said. "Alright everyone go get some rest." I said I wanted them all to get out so I could hold my princess. They all left, giving us one last glance. As soon as the door was closed I started taking off Alleys clothes. She will not rest in those things. I got up and quickly went to my closet finding the first shirt I saw, I carefully slid it over her head and placed her on her pillow. I stripped my clothes and decided to stay in my boxers.
I climbed into bed and pulled her to me. She's okay. She just used a lot of energy, she's going to be okay. I kept chanting the words in my head over and over, I breathed in her scent to calm not only me but Denver. As I started to relax my eyelids started to become heavy, I kissed the top of her head before exhaustion took me into a deep sleep.
