Chapter 106:

Alley POV:
For a moment, time stood still. "Are you ready?" Stephen asked. "I'm always ready, it's time to open a section of the shield." I replied not taking my eyes off of Bosch. I heard rustling in the trees before a bag flew out from the branches exploding next to Bosch. The vampires around him screeched and backed away, when the smoke cleared Bosch was nothing but stone. "Open the shield now! We have a few hours tops!" Pythia screamed out. Stephens eyes started swirling like a raging storm before they became the clear blue I have missed so much, that told me the shields were down. "Jeremy, now!" I yelled out, in a split second growls in every direction erupted and I knew he told the rogues to attack. Now it was our turn, everyone came out of hiding and latched on to the first enemy they could. We darted forward and I set my eyes on a wild looking vampire, he must be a newly changed one with the way he looks. I willed my legs to move faster the second he was nearing arms length I leaped over him latching my hands on the side of his head pulling hard as my feet hit the ground listening for the familiar snap of his neck, I twisted and pulled until his head came clean off his shoulders before I ran towards the next.
I looked over to Stephen who was taken on two vampires while Jack and Sammie had one each, I tried to see where the others were but I didn't have time before I came face to face with two angry looking vampires, I felt a growl rumble my throat as they inched closer to me and I decided not to wait around. I launched myself at the closest one driving my knee into his stomach taking us both to the ground, his arms thrashed around but he was a lot faster and as I tried to keep up he dug his claws into my side. I grunted out and extended my claws bringing them down across his throat with so much force his head barely hung on. Before I could get to my feet I was slung to the side, I hit the ground with a thud and rolled a few feet before I got my feet under my only to dodge the next attack, "So you're the great white witch huh? I figured you would be stronger than that." I looked up to see a nasty looking man with black eyes and greasy, his clothes were torn in many different areas. "Well you just haven't pissed me off enough to find out." I replied back raising my hands bringing roots with me to penetrate the upper half of the vampire standing in front of me. I turned my back just as a root pierced his skull. I looked around to see everyone had their hands full, these damn new vampires were difficult to fight. Ambrosia was moving faster than I had ever seen anyone.
Jasmine and Chloe weren't far from each other using their elements to the fullest while Andrew and Collin had shifted and were keeping them both safe. Emma was burning anything that came close to the area she was protecting while extending it far enough for Stefanie to use. It looked like a giant fire tornado sweeping across the field. Diane was starting to struggle, her and Pierce got separated and it looked like she was the main target for her area. I ran towards her as they started closing in on her when something caught my eye, three vampires running straight at me. Shit I don't have time for this, just as they were about to jump at me I teleported to Dianes side. "Alley I can't keep up!" She yelled frustrated, her eyes were swirling like a hurricane "Diane focus on your element push your anger out through it." I yelled back as I looked around us to see we were being closed in. I raised my arms and surrounded us with fire while Dianes breathing increased. "Push it out!" I roared as she lifted her hands and a tidal wave of water cleared our surroundings. "That's my girl! Keep it up!" I yelled as a few of them got back to their feet with pure hatred in their eyes. I didn't need to raise my arms any longer as I pictured them on fire, the moment their bodies were engulfed they let out a skin crawling screech.
"I need people over here with Diane now!" I yelled through the link waiting for someone to reply. "We are here." A voice said behind me, I turned around to see none other than Nate. I grabbed him by the shirt, "You protect her with your life you got me?" I said through gritted teeth. "Understood great witch." Nate replied, the wolves behind him stood in front of Diane, "Hold the line!" Nate yelled at them as he went and stood next to Diane. I feel better with her having others here with her. She seemed to be a little more secure with her element, everyone else seemed to be doing okay for the time being. "Alley I need some assistance please!" Jeremy called out to me. I ran towards him and Cassandra with a few rogues trailing behind me. I guess they heard his call as well. As soon as we rounded the corner there was a mix of dark witches and vampires. Cassandra was taking on a few witches while Jeremy was trying to keep the others away from her the best he could, although it didn't look like she needed protecting. Her fighting skills have gotten so much better and for a human to take on dark witches was impressive. Jeremy's wolf was growling and snapping his teeth at anything that got remotely close, the others jumped quickly into action just as I wrapped my hands around the first witches neck and threw her to the side. I stood nearly shoulder to shoulder with Cassandra who looked like she could burst someone into flames with one look.
