Chapter 79:
Alley POV:
After we had our lunch the girls and I stayed in front of the house while the others went back to training, it seemed like we all had an amazing grasp on our elements but I wanted to test our elements. See what we could really do. "So how are we going to do this?" Charlotte asked. "I'm not sure but I figured we could some how combine them if needed, like a mega fire bomb or water infused flame? I've infused fire with earth before." I said, trying to figure out how we could. My hopes are that if we get separated or one gets separated then we can somehow aid them. "Do you remember how you did it?" Chloe asked. "Not really, I mean I didn't put much thought into it. Just pictured it and boom it happened." I replied. "Where the hell have Anahita and them been? It's been days since we last seen them." Diane asked. Now that is a good question, they left and we haven't heard anything from them. "I honestly have no clue. Maybe gifting other people?" I said, shrugging my shoulders. "Maybe they are doing some type of training themselves.''Stefanie stated. "Well I know Atsila and Stella went off the radar for a while, I can't blame them after what they went through." Emma
Atsila said he was taking Stella away for a while and no one argued with him about it. "Okay ladies let's get started, who wants to go first?" I asked, "I will. " Diane said "I'll team with her." Charlotte said. The two women faced each other, Diane held her hand up creating a small water ball in her hand. Charlotte stared at it and I wasn't sure what she was trying to do, her eyes started to turn bright red as she tilted her head to the side. I watched as the water started turning red at the bottom and while it swirled in Dianes hand, it slowly worked its way up before it was encased with fire. I stepped closer to get a better look and much like the shield we put up the fire was on the outside of the water. "I kind of wish we had someone to try this stuff out on." Chloe whispered. "We just need to be able to help each other if it is needed." I replied as I watched Diane and Charlotte expand the fire/water ball that they created. I have to admit I was impressed. Diane started to move her hand around pulling apart the water into a straight line and moved it around kind of like a river stream, the fire never broke apart from it. "Hey Alley wanna try that but with wind?" Stefanie asked eagerly.
I nodded my head and waited for her to do something, I could feel the wind around us start to pick up, Stefanies eyes started to turn white I held my hand up releasing small fire sprites and watched as they started moving in a circle around us, she kept it close to us so that no one else would be touched, Chloe, Emma and Jasmine stepped off to the side to figure theirs out, Jasmine spent a little more time creating different types of walls and traps and practiced springing up roots. I decided to add a little water to our mix we had going on. I felt a cool breeze pass through me and watched as the water swirled its way to the top. Stefanie looked confused before a smile broke out across her face, I honestly couldn't believe all of this was working! I feel a little better knowing that we are able to mingle with each other. It amazes me how fast we've gotten accustomed to our elements. As we practiced a sense of pride came over me, no matter what the outcome of this war will be we've gained something more. As I withdrew my elements Stefanie did the same. "Has anyone heard back from the trackers?" Stefanie asked. "No, not yet. Hopefully they get in touch with us soon so that we can figure out what to do next." I replied.
The sooner we get a number of how many, the sooner we can come up with a better plan. "How many do you think will be against us?" Stefanie asked. "I have no clue. Surely not all rogues teamed up with Bosch right? I mean with the rogue king gone maybe they all scattered?" I questioned. I mean come on they knew what a monster Jeremys dad was, maybe since he left they decided to get a little freedom. "Maybe some of them but they need someone to lead them right? If not I think we would see a lot more random attacks." She replied. She had a point but would they follow someone they don't know so blindly? "Yeah I suppose you're right, but Bosch isn't even the true leader for them." I replied. Then it dawned on me. "What if he promised them Jeremy?" I said not to anyone in particular. "What do you mean?" Emma asked. "What. What if he told them he could find their new king? To lead them as his dad did?" I replied. Oh shit. If he finds out that we have Jeremy he can spin it to make the others think we are holding him as a prisoner. Fuck I need to get to Stephen. "I gotta get to Stephen." I said before teleporting to Stephen.
