Chapter 100:

Alley POV:
So far the day has been productive, who would have thought Ember would have been the one to make the children relax a little more. They were all fed and had bathed and looked a lot better than they did last night. We have managed to keep Ember a secret by saying it's someone from another pack who is just more comfortable in wolf form, Ambrosia and Pythia are coming today so that we can update them on everything and we don't want them to know fully who Ember is. Danny is on cloud nine with his new little friends as he calls them, he has made sure to talk to each of them to make sure that no one felt left out like he once did. The element carriers have asked to speak with us all including Ambrosia and Pythia and while Stephen and the other men went to retrieve them the girls and I stayed back to make sure we had enough seating in the meeting room. "What do you think the news is that they want to tell us is?" Emma asked. "Honestly I have no idea, they said it isn't bad news so we can relax a little I suppose." Charlotte replied. "True but we haven't seen them in weeks! Where have they been?" Chloe asked.
I knew where they had been but I couldn't say anything to anyone. I knew they were looking for the dagger and they were supposed to replace it with a fake one. "Maybe they just want to catch up on things or they have seen things they need to tell us." Diane said. "Alley? Do you know what is going on?" Jasmine asked and I scooted a chair across the room. "I do, but per the goddess I can't say anything." I replied. "So it is good news then right? Or can you tell us that?" Diane asked. "It is good news that I can say. It'll be more of a reassurance." I replied smiling. "Now I am really curious." Charlotte muttered. "Anything else that they have to say I have no clue about." I replied. "So do you think we would be able to visit the grove and stuff like you did?" Emma asked. "I'm sure, we hold a special place there, they all know of us and what is to come. I'm sure when Athea comes back to visit you can ask." I replied, smiling at the memories. "I didn't know she had a sister though. That is something I would really like to learn about. How come no one knows of her?" Diane asked. "She said her sister wants to live in privacy, but since there is a way to save the rogues we might meet her sooner than we all think." I replied. "So rogues go to the sister? Where do the rogues come from?" Emma asked.
"They come from the grove, the wolves there said they all start off the same, but when one loses a mate or something bad happens they can't recover and therefore turn rogue." I replied. "That makes me really sad, I never want to think of losing my mate. I don't think I could honestly survive it." Diane replied. I don't know if I could survive it either. I've bonded with Denver a lot and I can't imagine someone being strong enough to bring Denver down."It is a great way to bond with each others wolves I know that much." I said. "Did it feel weird? Seeing Rose separately from your body?" Jasmine asked. "It was at first, but I got used to it really quickly, Rose was more beautiful than what she showed me." I replied. "So what about Ember? She's just like Danny right? What is the difference between them?" Chloe asked. "There's not much of a difference, she is a seer for the wolves like Danny is a seer for us. He called out to her and that is why she is here. Danny is very important in keeping the balance and making sure people stay on the right track." I replied. "So that is how the rogues will be healed?" Diane asked.
I never really thought about it that way, "I know Jeremy was a big piece in it, he needed to gain control and since he doesn't claim to be a rogue he can lead them just as we lead our packs. Not all of them can be saved but we can at least try, Danny can keep them walking to the correct path with the help from Ember." I replied, trying to make as much sense as I possibly could. "But if it is the spirit that is broken there are only two of you that can heal that.." Charlotte said as if she figured it all out. As I thought about everything it started to make sense. Jeremy needed to gain control, Danny and Ember to keep them on the right path and Davina and I heal the broken spirits that lay within them. "That's it! That is how we save them! I kept trying to figure it out and I think we just did." I replied looking at the ladies. "They would be correct Alley, seems you all figured out part of what we were going to announce." Davina said, walking through the door followed by the others. "What was figured out?" Devin asked, looking around. "Let's all take a seat first and we can get everything all out at once." Anahita said. We all started to take our seats while the carriers stood in the middle of the room.
"Well we have been given the clearance to announce that we have successfully switched out the dagger that Bosch held to kill Alley and Stephen." Terra said. "Wait what? How?" Josh asked. "It took us a while to do it, but we replaced the dagger with a fake. Bosch will not be able to tell the difference between the two." Buran replied. "So where is the real dagger?" Emma asked. "It is with Athea, it does not need to be in this world at all." Atsila replied. "Well that is good news then, so what will happen now?" Diane asked. "The battle will continue since he doesn't know the difference, as of now Bosch is still recovering from the wounds Alley caused but when he fully recovers he will come full force with his army." Davina said sternly. "Ah, well we have some news on that front." I replied. They all looked at me waiting for me to continue but instead I looked at Jeremy. "The rogues are not on his side anymore." Jeremy stated. They all turned to look at Jeremy with shocked expressions. "How is that possible? We haven't heard anything about it." Buran said. "We had to go to my territory that was under attack by the rogues." Devin stated. "And then we assisted Jeremy in gaining control of them." Stephen finished.
