Chapter 86:

Alley POV:
The second we got back to the grove I was amazed again, it was so beautiful, Stephen had the same look as I did when I first came here. Danny was bouncing around like he had been here his entire little life. "We need to find Athea!" Danny said, looking around. "I am over here little Danny." Athea said, smiling at Danny with her arms wide open. "AATTTHHHEAAAAA!" Danny squealed and ran straight to her jumping in her arms giggling. "How are you my little seer?" She asked, laughing as he wrapped her up in a hug. "I'm so happy! Stephen and Alley are the best." Danny replied. Stephen bowed his head slightly, "Always a pleasure Athea." Stephen said. "No need to bow my warrior, it is always good to see you in person." Athea replied. She turned her gaze towards me. "Alley, you look more relaxed than you were when we talked." She said, "I feel a lot better, thanks to you." I replied smiling at her because truthfully it was because of her and Rose. If she hadn't done what she did I probably would have been left beyond stressed, but her reassurance made me feel more at ease. "Why can't I feel Denver?" Stephen asked worriedly. "Remember what I told you? He's not a part of you like he usually is, Athea has separated us from them so we can bond better with them. We will still be able to hear them though." As I finished my words, Rose and Denver walked out from behind the tree.
They were beautiful, Denver was a slick black with white spots that blended perfectly and Rose was still her beautiful multi colorful self. She stood slightly taller than Denver did but Denver has more muscle than Rose did. They looked amazing together. "Holy shit.." Stephen whispered, making me giggle. "I had the same reaction, they are beautiful huh?" I said, nudging Stephens arms as they walked up. Rose brought her head down to my hands and I quickly scratched behind her ears. "Hey Rose '' I whispered and she huffed. "Denver is nervous that Stephen won't like him." Rose said through the link. I looked over and watched as Denver stared down at Stephen who was taking in all his features. "Pet him." I whispered to Stephen. It was cute to see him so amazed by something. "Denver, Rose!" Danny squealed. Denver and Rose turned their heads towards Danny and their tails immediately started wagging. Danny ran up to them barely coming up to their legs. "You two are so pretty! And so big! Can I see your teeth? Do y'all brush your teeth?" Danny said, rambling on. Denver snorted and pulled his mouth back revealing his teeth. "Oohh so big!." Danny said, mimicking Denver. "Come my little seer, we have some stuff to talk about while Alley and Stephen spend some time with Denver and Rose." Athea said, grabbing our attention.
Danny wasted no time running back to her. We watched as Rose and Denver rubbed against each other. "They are so cute." I said watching them lick each others faces. "Denver thinks you won't like him." I whispered hoping they wouldn't hear. "I love him! Well not as much as you but still. He is better than I pictured." Stephen replied. "Denver, Rose. Please come here." I called out to them. Rose looked annoyed that I was interrupting them. They stalked over to us but before they got to us Stephen walked up to Denver and ran his fingers through his fur. "You are very handsome Denver. Better than I could ever picture." Stephen said to him. "He is very handsome." I said earning a grunt from Denver. "You are beautiful Alley." Denver said. "Easy there she is mine." Stephen said with a chuckle. "We want to take y'all somewhere." Rose said. I looked up at her, "Where are we going?" She looked over at Denver as if she was waiting for him to explain. "Remember everything we told y'all about where we come from? We want to show you both where we came from." Denver finished for her. Wow, they wanna show us where the wolves are here? My goodness! That would be the best! "Of course we wanna go!" I said Excitedly.
Denver walked over to me and laid on the ground. "Get on." He said. "Why aren't you letting Stephen ride on you?" I asked. "Because this will be the first time Rose and I can carry the both of you separately. It's something we've always wanted to do." Denver said. "That sounds like a good idea." Stephen said, walking to Rose. "You really are beautiful Rose, you know that?" Stephen said as he reached up to pet her. She turned and licked his face while I climbed up on Denver. I looked over to see Stephen was climbing up on Rose and when they were both fully standing I felt like I was on top of the world. They were so tall! Denver looked back at me and I knew he wanted me to hold on, I leaned forward gripping his fur in both hands. I looked back at Stephen to see that he did the same. "Ready." I said smiling at Denver, he nodded his head and bolted off, I didn't get a chance to look around the last time I was here because it was all darkness except around the tree. Now that I look we were on a walkway that was well lit, bushes lined the walkway and far off I could see trees. It was truly beautiful. "Why is it so dark here?" I asked, "The sun will rise soon, but not like it normally would. It stays a little darker here because it soothes us." Denver replied. Okay that kind of makes sense on why I can see a little more this time around.
I looked beside me to see that Stephen was very content on Rose, he kept stroking the sides of her neck. I could see a small light coming from the side and I was sure that it was the sun or a dimmer version of the sun. It Rose at a slow pace but it revealed the most beautiful land I've ever seen. The grass was green and the trees looked healthy, flowers were everywhere of all colors. It was like a scene out of a movie, birds flew around without a care in the world. "Where do the people go? If the wolves stay here I mean." I asked because as I looked around I noticed I didn't see a person here. "They go to a place that is much like this one, once we have died in the real world we come back, train and get sent to someone else." Rose replied. That makes sense I suppose. "Every once in a while a person is reborn into the same life if something major is to happen and the strongest wolf goes with them." Denver said. "So just any person or a specific one?" Stephen asked. "Depends on what needs to happen, you and Alley are not people that have been reborn though." Denver replied. Oh thank goodness, that would be a little weird if I were and didn't remember anything.
