Chapter 115:

Alley POV:
It has been a few days since I opened my eyes and everyone has been in and out. Today though is the day Julie said I could finally go home, my headache has finally gone away but my body still feels exhausted, my once dark bruises are now a lighter shade of yellow and green. My lip is nearly healed, I could easily heal myself but I prefer to not use my own abilities as a selfish act, Rose is irritated that I won't let her heal me fully either. I want to feel the aftermath of the battle, it is a reminder of what I went through, what we all went through and even though it hurts like hell it reminds me that we won. I feel like I need to go through the human healing process in order to be able to rule over everyone, no one would be able to use the fact that I have abilities against me. "Mommy today you get to come home! I made daddy get your favorite snacks and lots of water for you." Danny said as he ran into the spacious room, Ember came in behind him followed by Stephen and my family. "That was very nice of you Danny, I can't wait to be home." I replied, smiling at Danny as he climbed on the bed. Stephen walked around Ember who was now laid on the floor, "How are you feeling princess?" Stephen asked, sitting beside me. "Sore, but I feel alright. Just ready to get out of here and back in my own bed. A long hot shower is calling my name." I replied, smiling at him.
"You scared us for a while you know." My mother said, clinging on to my dad. "I know momma, I didn't mean to scare anyone but I am getting better." I said, trying to soothe her. I could only imagine what it was like for her, to tend after little ones while her own kids went to battle. I worried about Danny even though I knew he was safe. The last few days have given me time to reflect on a lot of things. It seemed like everything around me was moving at light speed, our territory was being cleaned up and Stephen has been working hard with the other alphas to shift all of our lands so that we are closer and can easily manage everything. Pythia and Ambrosia have agreed to continue the peace and aid in watching over what we can't. Once I get back on my feet we will further discuss what all will need to be done and the different responsibilities. Right now I need to focus on making sure I get better and the people around me are okay. "Where is Jack?" I asked, I've only seen him a few times and I could tell it would be a few more days before he is back to normal. As much as he wanted to stay by me I made him rest and get better. "He is pouting at the house, he wanted to come but Sammie made him stay." Alex said, making me laugh and flinch from the pain. Stephen glared at Alex, "Don't start, it isn't his fault." I said, patting Stephens arm.
"I'll just be happy when you're back home." Stephen muttered. "We can play games! Can we go on another picnic? That was so much fun! Ember needs to go so she can have fun too!" Danny said excitedly. "Alley, are you ready to go home?" Julie said as she walked in. "More than ready to go home." I replied. "Alright well let's go over a few things, first you don't need to lift anything over five pounds, second have someone stay with you at all times in case you need some help, third absolutely no stress at all. We just got your headaches to stay away." Julie said, giving me a stern look. "I don't have anything to stress about so I will be fine." I replied, smiling at her. It is the truth, Bosch was no longer a threat and the remaining of his minions were being hunted down. Not many got away though which wasn't much. "You could heal yourself you know." Brandon chimed in. "You know I don't want to do that, our people need to see I can withstand the pain." I replied back. "Stubborn woman." Brandon muttered, earning him a slap over the head by Alex. ``She could kick your ass easily." Alex stated. I have honestly missed the bickering, everyone seems more relaxed and happy. "No offense Julie but I am ready to eat good food." I stated smiling at her. "I am limited you know." She huffed. I kept scanning my eyes over Jackson, he kept shifting from one foot to the other and was oddly quiet. Tye on the other hand looked deep in thought. I'll have to see what that is about.
"We have good food for you mommy! Nana, can we go make mommy some food?" Danny said, jumping off the bed. "Of course we can, what do you want to eat, Alley?" My mom asked, staring at me, "Honestly anything." I replied. Ember stood to her feet and faced me, "I am glad you are okay Alley. Athea will visit within a few days." I ran my fingers behind her ears. "Thank you for keeping Danny safe." I whispered. "Now I need to talk to Stephen and Alley alone please." Julie said, looking around the room. No one wasted any time getting out of the room, Julie turned to us with a stern look. "I know how mates can be, I have my own so listen carefully. If you're going to have sex you better be gentle with her because if she has to come back alpha or not I will kick your ass understood?" She said pointing at Stephen. I had to bite back my laughter because of the look on Stephen's face followed by the red blush that covered his cheeks. "Noted." Stephen said, clearing his throat. Julie nodded her head "Good, you are free to go. You have two options, either get a ride over there or ride on Stephens wolf. Take your pick." Julie said. "I will ride on Denver, I'm sure he wants to come out and see me." I said looking at Stephens whose eyes were already changed to black. "More than you'll ever know my princess." Denver said, stepping closer to me.
