Alley POV:
"Are they getting close to finding it?" I asked. "Yes they are. If I'm right they should be here any moment with it, Bosch won't know the difference between the real one and the fake one." Athea said. "Wait, I thought you couldn't tell me." I said scrunching my eyebrows. "I'm not supposed to but I can see what this is doing to you. If you keep walking the path that you are you will be back here and not in the way you would like." Athea said. She has a point. The nights of exhaustion and the rage I feel at the sound of Boschs name. I blew out a breath in frustration. "I want you to do something for me." Athea said. I looked up at her and was struck by her beauty. "I want you and Stephen to get away for a day, Bond with each other as well as your wolves. Rose and Denver are very special, Rose knows you better than anyone else will, you need to know Denver that way and Rose needs to know Stephen that way." She said, and as she did Rose popped her head up excitedly. "What if something happens? What about Danny?" I asked. "I will make sure nothing happens while you are away, as far as Danny I wanted to ask if you would be okay if I spent a little time with him, he has been over the moon happy with you and Stephen but he needs guidance on his gift." Athea said.
"You're asking me permission? Of course you can help him. How would he get here though?" I asked. "I ask your permission out of respect. He is y'alls son. I would have Davina bring him to me. It would be while you and Stephen are away." I was honestly a little shocked. I couldn't believe that she was asking my permission. "It's time for you to wake up now Alley, it's morning, remember what I said it needs to be done today okay? You may tell the others that I spoke with you and that you two are to get away by my orders." Athea said standing from the swing. I wasn't ready to go back just yet. I felt at peace here. I stood from the swing while Rose took a step back, my goodness she towered over me. She looked down at me and tilted her head. "You are incredible Rose, maybe we can do this again somehow. Your fur is so soft." I said, smiling at her. She nudged me back and snorted. "Don't be rude!" I said laughing as I tried to push her back. "You know what? I have a better idea. You and Stephen will come here. I can let you and Stephen bond with each others wolves just like you and Rose are doing now." Athea said, smiling at us. "We could do that?" I asked. She simply nodded her head before she walked over and kissed my forehead. "I will see you soon, my great witch." As she said those words my eyes sprang open.
"Good morning princess? How are you feeling? Do I need to call Julie?" I placed my hand over Stephens mouth and smiled. "I am perfect, you and I are going on a small trip with Danny per the moon goddess herself." I said Stephen looked confused. "My dream, I was with her. I got to see Rose! She said she will make sure nothing happens while we are away but we need to tell the others and get Danny. You and I are going to bond with Rose and Denver while she helps Danny." I said, my face started to hurt from smiling so much. My smile mirrored his, "We are really going to get to do that?" He asked jumping up and getting dressed. "Come on!" He said grabbing my hand making me laugh. As I dressed Stephen called for a meeting, "I'm going to go get Danny." He stated as he rushed out of the door. My goodness he is so cute when he gets excited. I walked to his office and as I opened the door I was met with the faces I knew I could trust with anything. "It's nothing serious guys I promise." I said and I watched as they all relaxed. Stephen came rushing in with Danny on his back laughing. "What's going on Alley?" Emma asked.
I took a deep breath. "Well, while I was asleep I was visiting with the moon goddess. She has requested that Stephen and I as well as Danny go to her grove to have a bonding session with our wolves, she is able to separate them from us so we can actually interact with each other for the upcoming battle. She said she will make sure nothing happens here so you can all relax for the day, you will have no worries or anything." I said, everyone looked super shocked. "Are you serious? She will make sure nothing happens?" Chloe asked. I nodded my head and smiled. "Go spend quality time with each other. You all deserve a break from the fighting and planning, go have some fun but stay within the protection." I warned. They didn't need me to say it again, they all practically ran out of the room, as soon as the room was empty Davina appeared in front of us. She had a smile plastered on her face. "Are you all ready?" She asked. "I am! Stephen said I was going to see Athea! I miss her, can we go now?" Danny said, jumping up and down. Stephen and I laughed, "Yes we are ready." I replied, taking Stephens hands.
We are able to do something we never thought was possible and I am excited to see what happens next.
