Chapter 74:

Alley POV:

Think, where could she have gone? I know she always wanted to go see the beach down in Florida. She couldn't have gone that far that quickly. "Let the other packs know to keep an eye out for her, if they see her they need to grab her before Bosch does." I said. None of this made any sense at all. What happened to her? Did she keep her cool around me because she knew I wouldn't allow her to act like that with Jackson? My emotions were all over the place. I partially blamed myself, maybe if I would have tried harder or gone and seen her none of this would have happened. This is not the Leia I knew. She was kind and caring and always a bubbly person. "We will find her princess, I will send word to the others but for now I have to go finish preparing the training area." Stephen said while he played with a string of my hair between his fingers. I watched everyone leave. Tye looked horrible and I could see he felt bad for not telling me. "I should have said something sooner sis I'm sorry.." Tye said unable to look at me. "I don't blame you Tye, don't beat yourself up over something you couldn't control. We just have to hope we find her." I replied as I walked over to him and engulfed him in a hug.
I need to find something else to get my mind on. We have the best trackers and I know we will find her. "Let's take a walk?" I asked, neither of them said anything. We started to walk down the steps when the sun rays hit my skin. I stood still for a moment basking in them, we often forget the simple things in life when there is a lot going on around us. As much as I didn't want to sit the day out I needed it. We decided to put Danny back in school for the time being, he needs to make friends his age and we had to accept that we couldn't hide him or his ability forever, so far he seems to be doing really well. We walked along the path to go and check on the training area, it will be interesting to see how we will all jive together. Hopefully no one gets injured or well angry. I sat on the grass and watched them set up all different types of weapons that could be used. We decided not to use any mats because in a real fight you hit the ground. I placed my hands on the ground needing to feel a connection with mother earth, I took my finger and dug a small hole and covered it with my hands, picturing a small yellow flower and felt it grow under my hands.
I took my hands away to find a little stem with a small yellow flower on the end of it. Practicing my abilities has made me feel a lot closer to them, I can use them without much of an effort and that is what I was hoping to do. I felt a tingle in my chest and I took a deep breath, I knew someone was trying to get our attention, I looked over to Jack who noticed as well. To the west is where we needed to go. Stephen was in front of me in a flash and his expression was calm. "Guys we need you all back now." I linked the others and before I could finish they were surrounding me. Sammie appeared next to Stephen who helped me to my feet. "Let's go see who our visitor is." I said walking towards the west. I was hoping it would be either Pythia or Ambrosia with news on the rogue king, it had to be one of them because they pressed the shield three times. They were the only ones we told to do that. As we got closer I saw a few figures but with the sun behind them I couldn't make out any features. There looked to be eight people, with a few standing on the inside of our shield. Shit those are our trackers! I hastened my footsteps to get a closer look.
I could now make out both Ambrosia and Pythia with their closest people, the two that I didn't know must be the ones we have been waiting on. I stopped next to the trackers and smiled at the women. "Ambrosia, Pythia, it's a pleasure to see you again." I said looking between them before my eyes fell on a very rough looking guy, he stood 6'5'' tan skin, blonde hair with brown eyes? A woman stood half way behind him, she was maybe 5'2'' medium length brown hair with green eyes. She looked scared. "Hello, I'm Alley." I said smiling at them in hopes the young woman would relax. "I'm Jeremy, this is my mate Cassandra." His voice was rough and I knew he felt like he was walking into a trap. "It's nice to meet you Jeremy, I'm Stephen. Alleys mate." Stephen said, stepping forward. Jeremy had his arms crossed over his chest, he wore faded blue jeans and a t-shirt with boots. "We need to cross the shield so can you can lower it?" Ambrosia said to Stephen. I watched as Stephens eyes started to swirl like a hurricane, "Step through." He said, Jeremy hesitated while Ambrosia and her two people stepped in along with Pythia and her people. "We won't hurt either of you. We need your help." I said in an effort to gain a little trust.
Jeremy and Cassandra stepped through while Stephen worked on closing the shield. "How do y'all feel?" I asked. I knew they didn't have ill intentions and dark magic couldn't get through but we let them in. "I feel fine." Ambrosia said looking to the two she brought who just shrugged their shoulders. "I feel different, not painful but a pull to get out of here. Probably because of the dark magic." Pythia said. "Alright well let's go inside and talk about what is going on shall we?" I asked. "I'm curious to know since no one told me a damn thing." Jeremy huffed, I started walking forward to head to the house trying to figure out how to tell him we need him to get a handle on the rogues. He looks like a normal person but his body language and voice tells a different story. I can feel power roll off of him but I'm also aware that he has a human mate and she would need the extra protection since she isn't like the rest of us. Let's just hope that he can help in some way and doesn't tell us to go fuck ourselves.
