Chapter 69:

Alley POV:
As soon as I took off the rest bolted in different directions, I met the female vampire in the middle. Her movements were wild and erratic, she had long finger nails that she tried cutting me with. Swinging her arms at me and I was barely dodging them before I grabbed both her wrists pulling them down and head butting her right in the nose. She stumbled back and shrieked before coming back at me. She nearly made it to me before I pulled my leg back and kicked her in the stomach, she tumbled backwards and tripped over a root that had come out of the ground, I knew it was from the twins. I wasted no time running to her, placing my hands on both sides of her head before ripping her head clean off her body. I turned around to see most of the guys had shifted and were starting to be back in a corner. I scanned over everyone and noticed Diane was fighting off three with one sneaking up behind her. I bolted straight for her and just when the vampire behind her lunged at her I met him half way taking us both to the ground. I spun around to get back on my feet just as he did. His bright red eyes locked on mine, his lips pulled back in a snarl showing his fangs that were dripping of saliva.
He tried jumping at me but was stopped by a root that was now wrapped around his ankle. He looked down at the root then back to me, he pulled at his leg to get free but the more he moved the tighter the root became. I finally got back to my feet fully and ran right at him driving my knee into his face. His body fell backwards and much like the first one I ripped his head from his shoulders. I heard a scream and jerked my head to see where it came from, Emma was pinned to the ground, "Emma heat your body! Burn their hands!" I screamed through the link, I looked around and caught sight of Devin who was shifted racing towards her with a murderous look in his eyes. "Pair up!" I yelled out knowing they could hear me. We can't beat them if we are alone. I backed up to Diane but never took my eyes off of Emma, every time they tried to touch her they would shriek, Devin had made it to her and was killing anything in his line of sight. Slowly their numbers started going down. Emma was struggling to stand. I tried my best to scan over her body and saw she had cuts along her arms and legs.
"I need to get to her." I said to Diane while looking around to see we were being surrounded. "That will take us a minute." She said, Devin looked at us with pleading eyes. "We don't have a minute, Emma needs me now!" I replied a little too harshly. Another scream grabbed my attention and I looked to see Chloe was standing next to Andrew who was laying on the ground. She was trying to fend off two vampires who looked to be toying with her. Chloe growled a warning, I kept looking between her and Andrew. Andrew was breathing that much I could see but I didn't have time to figure anything out and a body collided with me. I felt a sharp sting on my side and I knew I had been cut. I rolled away from Diane and tried to get to my feet when I felt arms wrap around my neck and jerk my backwards. I extended my claws and slashed the arms that were around my neck. I've had just about enough of all of this. I lunged forward pulling my arm back only to shove it right in the vampires chest ripping his heart out. Diane was finishing off the one she was fighting with. Everyone else seemed to be doing fine. Stephen worked his way towards me while Pierces wolf was nearly to Diane.
Josh and Stefanie were like fighting machines. Killing anything they could while Austin and Charlotte tag teamed on vampires. Just when I thought we were getting the upper hand on things when I heard rumbling coming from around the castle. I looked to the vampire queen to see she had a shitty grin on her face. "You have got to be kidding me." I heard Stephen mumble, I looked where his eyes were locked in and saw roughly 30 more vampires rushing at us. What a bitch! Can't even keep to her own deal. "Ladies, it's time to show ourselves." I shouted. One by one they grabbed their mates and teleported next to me and Stephen. All they guys stood behind us knowing we were about to be on a warpath. "Diane wet the ground, make it a slippery slope for them." I said concentrating on the ground as she did. I watched as the dried dirt turned into mud, the vampires around us lost their balance, roots starting springing from the ground ripping through vampires that came into its way. Emma and Charlotte started shooting out fire balls at anything that dodged the roots, I felt the wind pick up enhancing the fire that was being thrown.
For a moment the remaining vampires hesitated and looked back to their queen, she looked shocked, angry and amused at the same time. Anger finally won over her emotions "Hiding behind witches? How pathetic." She sneered. "I'm not hiding behind anyone, I mean if anyone is then it would be you. Couldn't even battle yourself." I snapped. "You want to fight me? As if you stand a chance." She replied. "I do stand a chance, you don't know the real me which gives me the upper hand." I said, smirking at her. She stepped off the porch stalking towards me, I raised my hand pulling roots from the ground wrapping them around her legs, her eyes widened as she tried to yank herself free. I pulled her closer to me to see the others not liking what was happening to their queen and started to rush to her. With my other hand I shot off a line of fire blocking their path to her while continuing to pull her to me. "Let me make myself perfectly clear. I am no normal wolf and these women are not only witches." I said, narrowing my eyes at her. "You set up a test and when we started to win you cheated. I don't like cheaters." I said knowing my eyes were shining bright red.
