Chapter 102:
Alley POV:
Pythia sent word that Leia was coming home today. Her parents and brother are at our house and we are all starting to get restless, all we have done lately is train and practice. Everything has been way too quiet which is starting to worry me. Danny has been more quiet which is also worrying me. I know he knows what is about to happen but he can't tell us so maybe his silence is a warning to us, him and Ember have made tremendous progress with the children. They all looked healthy and lively and it made me happy seeing them interact with everyone like they didn't have a fear in the world which is how children are supposed to be. I paced around the living room waiting for Leia to show up and time was just moving too slow. "Jeremy has pushed through to Nate, princess. I'm sorry your reunion with Leia won't last all that long." Stephen announced breaking me from my own thoughts. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "Well in lack of better words Bosch is coming really soon.. like the next day or so." Stephen replied. Well I honestly can't say that it surprises me. We all knew he was going to come sooner or later and the golden moon isn't for another few weeks so I wonder what he has planned.
"Did Nate say what all he has planned? It is still to early for the golden moon so why is he coming this early?" I asked, pinching the bridge of my nose. "Maybe he is intending to take as many of us out so that you have less protection." Stephen replied. "Actually, he intends on kidnapping the both of you and casting a spell so you two kill each other." Jeremy said as he and Cassandra walked up. "Excuse me?" Stephen growled out. "Nate opened his link so I could hear what was being said. It's not good though, him and the dark witches have figured out a spell for turning y'all against each other but the one thing they can't figure out is how to get through the shield that protects from dark magic." Jeremy stated. He can't be serious right? He thinks he can get through it? "He wants to destroy all of our packs by splitting the rogues, witches and vampires to take on each pack at the same time." Jeremy said. "We can pull everyone here to keep them all safe and let them believe nothing has changed." Stephen replied. "Get the others in the meeting room." I stated as I felt a presence come through our shield. Before I could blink Pythia and Leia stood in front of me. Leia looked around at everyone and I held my breath waiting for something to happen. "Alley.." Leia croaked out. "Leia!" I blurted and wrapped her into a hug.
She squeezed me and I heard her start to sob, "I'm so sorry! I should have listened to Jackson but I didn't and I caused so much pain. Please forgive me." Leia blurted out. I pulled her back and wiped her tears. "All is forgiven my friend, I will leave you alone with your family but I will be back soon okay?" I said, smiling at her. She looked so much better than she did before, still a little on the skinny side but that can be helped. I squeezed her hands before her mom walked up to her engulfing her in a hug. Stephen and I started going upstairs and I finally blew out a big breath. "Relax princess, she is safe here with us." Stephen said as he grabbed my hand. "I know it's just everything else. Now we know what Bosch is planning which means I can kill him a lot sooner so that we can live in peace as we should have been able to." I replied. "That is true, the faster you kill him the faster I can marry you and we have pups." Stephen said. "You know our wedding will be big right? We now have six other packs as a family." I giggled thinking about how massive all of this will be. "Our kids will have a huge family and maybe one day we can get rid of the borders and just rule under one large piece of land or something." Stephen replied.
"We could talk about that later on after the battle, I do like the idea of us just being one big piece of land, we can keep the packs separate but live mixed together peacefully since all of us will make up the council." I replied. We walked into the meeting room and everyone was already there waiting for us. "Thanks for coming so soon everyone, Jeremy finally got through to Nate who opened his link so Jeremy could hear what was being said. I'll let Jeremy continue." I stated sitting down in Stephen's lap. "Well as I told them Bosch is planning a surprise attack splitting the three groups and attacking the outside packs taking down as many to pull everyone away from Alley. His plan is to kidnap Alley and Stephen and cast a spell turning them against each other to the point they kill each other but they don't know how to get through the shield." Jeremy said, looking around. I swear I could drop a pen and it wouldn't faze anyone in this room. "So when is this going to happen?" Josh asked through clenched teeth. "Within the next few days." Jeremy replied. "We can move everyone here. We have a bunch of abandoned houses that were left behind when the new ones were built. We can keep the illusion that people are still in the packs." I stated gaining everyone's attention. "We could do that actually. We would have to move really fast though." Jasmine said.
