Chapter 53:
Alley POV:
Everything was a blur. The moment they landed in front of us beaten, battered and bloodied everything in me went numb. Hell I didn't even notice the ear piercing screams that came from the others. Before I knew it I was up on my feet running to them. What happened to them? They are element barriers for goddess sake! What the hell could have done that to them? Atsila and the woman laid out on the ground, eyes closed. Fuck! Where are they dead? They didn't say anything and I tried my hardest to get to them but Alex and Brandons wolves cut us off and Stephen had his arms around me. I could feel the tears burn my eyes while I tried to push him off of me, I needed to get to them. "Stephen we have to help them!" I shouted, thrashing around trying to break his hold on me. "We will Alley breath. Get them all inside now!" Stephen barked out. Alex and Brandon shifted and I saw the other alphas rush to their mates. "Alley princess what happened?" Stephen asked, pulling my face towards his wiping the tears that escaped. "I don't know.. I was telling the girls about Danny and out of nowhere they showed up looking like that, they didn't say anything... " I trailed off unable to catch my own breath
"It's okay we will figure this out." Stephen said, wrapping his arms around me, I fisted his shirt in my hands and buried my face in his chest inhaling his scent to calm my own nerves. I tuned everything out trying to collect my own thoughts ``Rose what the hell happened?" I asked hoping she would somehow know. "How am I supposed to know? I will say it's hard to make one of them bleed, whatever or whoever did that is strong." Rose said before slumping to the back of my mind. Shit. She was right, element barriers are very hard to take down let alone bleed, Davina had the ability to heal but she was busted to hell. We rushed inside where everyone was taken, seconds later the pack doctors came rushing in. Looking at the element barriers kind of scared me not going to lie. The doctors were already in motion. "What happened?" I asked not pointing it at one of them but all of them. "We were ambushed, we finally found Atsila and Stella and were nearly halfway to the border when dark witches blind sided us." Buran spat. The look in his eyes was deadly. "How did they know where to find y'all? Obviously Atsila isn't mixed with dark magic and neither is Stella so they aren't messing with them." I voiced my thoughts trying to figure it all out. Atsila and Stella were still unconscious. Their story will have to wait until they wake up.
The others looked at each other and judging by the looks they were giving they knew. "Were y'all followed? What? Someone tell me something!" I roared feeling angry, why wouldn't they tell me? "Alley calm down just give them a minute okay?" Stephen whispered in my ear while he rubbed my arm. "We are all a little shocked honestly. She's a Seer." Davina said, looking down. A seer? Who is a seer? "Who is a seer?" My mother asked. I forget everyone else was here. Man we had to catch them up fast on the shit that has been going on. "Bethany.." Terra whispered. No. Fucking. Way. Bethany?! "I'm sorry can you repeat the name so I can make sure my ears aren't clogged." Stephen said, swear to the goddess mirroring my own thoughts. "Bethany, we don't know how she is a seer. She hasn't been blessed by any of us." Anahita said. I finally took in her looks, down was the water that she held over herself. She was beautiful. Long blue hair that fell just above her waist line with sky blue almond shaped eyes, her skin was pale but matched her perfectly. Why am I just now noticing this? Why did she hide herself? "So how do y'all know she is a seer if it hasn't been confirmed?" I asked "We will let Atsila explain that one. He's the one that said she was but we didn't believe him because she isn't blessed." Terra said.
Well that didn't give me that answer I wanted too. "I can heal y'all or strengthen y'all enough to heal on y'alls own." I offered feeling a little stupid that the idea just came back across my mind. "No Alley, that will take a lot of your energy and right now you need to save all the energy you have." Davina said with a firm look on her face. I didn't dare argue with the woman, she looked like she could kick my ass in to next week if she wanted too. "I will heal them when I get my own back." Davina said. "If y'all were in contact with dark magic then how did y'all get in?" My father asked. I thought about it for a minute, they didn't work for them, they were attacked. There is a difference between the two. "We fought the dark magic, when you work for them it seeps into you and the only way to cleanse yourself is breaking away from it and using herbs to cleanse your body. That's why Atsila didn't try to return right away." Buran said. I nodded my head, his words mirrored my own thoughts except for the herbs. That's something I didn't know. "If she works for the dark witches then they don't need y'alls blessing." Nikki said. We all snapped our heads towards her. "What do you mean?" Stephen asked. "Well dark magic and white magic work differently. After Raleigh fell no one was there to contain them. They started mixing spells and making their own ways, so creating a seer isn't surprising to me." She huffed.
