Chapter 126:

Alley POV:

"Let's go and sit down so I can check you over." Julie said, grabbing my elbow and walking me towards the couch. "Where are the girls?" I noticed that they weren't inside yet. "They have been walking around the yard waiting for you." Jack said. Well that makes me feel bad. Just as I went to sit, more pain hit me. "Fuck!" I grunted out. Jack and Stephens face tensed and I knew they felt it too. I watched as Julie started pulling stuff out of her bag, she put the stethoscope around her neck before she placed it on my belly. "Just relax for me. How often is the pain?" Julie asked. "Just a few times today, that was the first and only time." I replied, taking a few deep breaths. "Well the next part is not going to be very pleasant and I need the men out of this room, Stephen can stay of course." Julie said, looking at Jack. What is she about to do? I don't like the sound of that. "Alley, I need you to lay back because I am going to have to check your dilation." Julie said, putting a glove on. Oh hell, seriously? Jack ran from the room with one look from Stephen. I laid my head on Sammies lap and Stephen came to sit by my head. "This is not going to feel very well at all so take a deep breath." Julie said. I did as she said and as soon as I inhaled she stuck her hand in me. I growled in pain. "What the fuck?!" I shouted and grabbed Stephens hand. "I told you it wouldn't feel very good. I'm sorry." Julie snipped.
Oh my goddess it feels like she is literally trying to break me apart! "You're at a five, you will need to come with me to the hospital." Julie said, removing her hand. "How? I've only felt it a few times." I asked. I'm already halfway there and I've barely felt the pain. "Rose might be blocking some of that pain. Have you felt her?" Stephen asked as he helped me sit up. "Actually I haven't felt her since the pain started." I replied. "Rose? Are you holding the pain back?" I asked. "Yes, not much of it though." Rose replied as she sunk back into my mind. "She said she has but she hasn't held much of it back." I said looking at Julie. "Go get her bag ready and be back down here in five minutes." Julie said look at Stephen who quickly got to his feet and ran upstairs. Sammie helped me stand to my feet and I could already feel the soreness. Another sharp pain hit me and this time it felt like a steel cage was wrapped around my stomach. I gasped, grabbing onto Sammies arm. "Ow shit!" Sammies muttered. I cut my eyes at her "I'm sorry Sammie but you can take a little pain." I muttered trying to catch my breath. "Alright let's go." Stephen said, running down the stairs. I could see sweat building up on his forehead. We started walking towards the door when another round of pain hit me. "Motherfucker!" I seethed. Stephen picked me up and ran out of the door. "Alley?!" Emma called. "Stephen what happened?!" Collin yelled.
"She is in labor!" Stephen yelled back. Another round of pain hit me and I growled out. "These children are trying to kill me already." I grunted out. Just hold on babies, please hold on and at least let me get to the hospital. Right before we hit the door I felt a gush of water leave me. "Oh goddess! My water broke!" I gasped out. It felt like a tidal wave left my body, goodness how much water was up there. Almost immediately pain was shooting through me. Stephen tensed and growled. "Come on! This way!" Julie said, barging through the doors. We rushed into a room and Stephen laid me on the bed. "Alley take deep breaths." Stephen whispered, brushing my hair back and off of my face. With each breath that I took I felt like the wind was being knocked out of me. This hurts. This hurts incredibly bad. Another pain hit me and I cried out. "Get them out NOW!" I roared. "Okay, keep calm. When I say push you need to push." Julie said as she sanitized her hands and slid on gloves. "Rose, I need some help here!" I shouted at her. I felt her push out a little more and warmth spread throughout my body and the pain wasn't as bad. "Alley?" Stephen said, looking at me. "Rose is helping." I grunted. Julie sat on her chair at the end of the bed.
She cracked her neck before she peaked up at me. "Okay Alley push for me!" Julie said, as soon as the words left her mouth another pain shot through me and with Rose helping I pushed like there was no tomorrow. It felt like I was being ripped completely apart. "YOU ARE NEVER TOUCHING ME AGAIN!" I roared at Stephen who wasn't even fazed by my words. "Just breathe my princess." Stephen whispered, running his fingers through my hair. A loud piercing scream filled the room. "It's a boy!" Julie shouted, a boy. We have a boy. Before I could ask to see him another wave hit me. Julie handed our son off to a nurse and quickly sat back down. "One more time for me Alley, push!" Julie shouted and I pushed harder but this time it didn't hurt near as bad. I grabbed Stephens hand and heard his bones crack, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." I cried. "Shh no princess, you can break all my bones." Stephen replied, meeting my eyes. Another loud cry filled my ears. "It's a girl!" Julie said, holding our little princess up. A girl. We got a girl and a boy! "Thank you princess. Thank you so much." Stephen said with tears in his eyes. I watched as Julie stood with our daughter and walked to the table, I let a growl out that rumbled my throat. "Easy Alley, she is just going to clean her up." Sammie said, pulling my hair back.
Julie walked over with a nurse, two babies wrapped in pink and blue. Julie handed me our little girl while the nurse handed Stephen our baby boy. "What should we name them?" I asked not taking my eyes off the little bundle I was holding. She was perfect. She had Stephens crystal blue eyes and black hair, her face was shaped like mine. "What about Ashlee Marie?" I said looking down at her. "That is perfect. For him, what if we named him William Douglas?" Stephen said sitting on the bed and letting me get a look at our handsome boy, he had Stephens blue eyes but my hair, my nose shape and Stephens face. "That fits him perfectly." I whispered looking between our two new babies. After a long wait they were finally here, and they couldn't be more perfect.
