Chapter 122:

Alley POV:

Davina made her way to the middle to stand beside us while Jeremy and Cassandra faced each other. "Jeremy, king of the rogues, mated to Cassandra. Have you both settled on a pack name?" Atheas voice boomed out but not in a scary way, it flowed easily but powerful. "Yes, moon goddess we have." Jeremy replied as he straightened his back. "What shall the new name be?" Athea asked. "We shall be known as the Rose Wood Pack." Jeremy replied. That is an interesting name but has a nice sound to it. "What is the reasoning for the name?" Athea asked. "The reason is because each year a rose bush will die but flourish the next. What we are doing tonight is dying out our old nature and flourishing a new nature." Jeremy replied. That actually fits pretty perfectly because it is true. A wide smile broke across Atheas face. "That is a beautiful name. Are you ready to begin?" Athea asked, looking between Jeremy and Cassandra. "We are." Cassandra spoke up smiling. "Then let us begin. Jeremy, king of alphas, do you swear to lead your pack with care? To lead with dignity and pride? To show mercy in tough times and to aid others when needed? To follow the rules of the council and walk the straight and narrow path? To support your mate and luna?" Athea spoke but this time her voice held such power it was nearly impossible not to shiver, the wind around us picked up as she spoke. "I swear." Jeremy spoke. "Cassandra, Do you swear to help lead this pack? To be the voice of reason when it feels there is none? To show compassion and love to each equally? To follow the rules of the council and walk the straight and narrow path? To love and support your mate and alpha?" Athea asked, turning her attention to Cassandra.
"I swear." Cassandra replied. There was a shift in the air as I watched as Athea literally started glowing. "Do you both swear to acknowledge Danny and Ember as your turn to leaders for guidance? To know they will keep you all on the right path?" Athea asked. Danny and Ember lead them? Why weren't we told? Not that I mind. "We swear." They both answered in unison. The air around us warmed up and I could feel a mist within. I glanced around to see the carriers and the ladies using their abilities. "Davina, Alley, let loose your spirit ability. Alley, let Rose guide you. Fill their souls and we will begin to heal." Athea said. I held tight to Stephens hand and relaxed my body and closed my eyes, I felt Rose creep out but not too much. It felt like something snapped within me and warmth over flowed me, I felt it roll off of me as I concentrated on those around me. I felt Rose pull back restricting me from using too much, I heard gasps around me but I didn't have time to look around to see what was happening but it was like I could feel the hurt, pain and anger leaving them. As their minds opened I could get a better sense of what was happening. I could hear people falling to the ground and I started to worry. "Do not worry my great witch." Athea whispered to me. I cracked open my eyes to see they had all shifted, their once dirty red fur was now changing to normal colors, their eyes had changed to match their fur.
This was a beautiful sight to see, the change they so desperately needed and wanted was what they were getting. A fresh start at a life they always craved for. As they all shifted back they laid on the ground breathing hard. I felt Rose push to the back of my mind and I knew my part was over. Athea looked around, "I give you the new Rose Wood Pack and I hereby name Jeremy and Cassandra the alpha and luna!" Athea boomed, all around us howls broke out in celebration, I could feel relief in the air and all the elements retracted, we started passing out clothing as they started to wake from the unconscious state they were in. Relief filled me as they started to stand, I could see the stress and anxiety no longer on them. Jeremy stood taller and stronger as he looked around with pride at his new pack. This was going to be an amazing journey for them once we helped get them settled, but for now the night is still young and it is time to celebrate our new neighboring pack and give them a warm welcome.
