Alley POV:
Today is the day we are officially announced as the counsel and honestly I am thrilled. We broke the news to everyone yesterday of my pregnancy and I was happy to learn that Ambrosia is also pregnant! She is farther along than I am but they kept it a secret until we were all together. I couldn't shake the sickness so Pythia had a calming tea made for me. She said it helped her through her pregnancy with Apollo. We are all curious to see if their kids will have traits of wolf and vampire but in time we will figure it out. As I finished dressing I took a long look at myself, with each year that passes my hair continues to grow more white. Not that I mind but in truth it is starting to look like Atheas hair. I often wondered what Raleigh looked like, I bet she was beautiful. One day I will get to meet her, a soft knock on the door before it opens to the most handsome man I have ever laid my eyes on. "You look beautiful and glowing princess." Stephen said, leaning against the door frame. I smiled at him, taking in his features and my oh my did he look good. "You look beautiful yourself." I replied scanning my eyes over him, his button up shirt hugged him wonderfully and his pants fit perfectly. He combed his hair back and his blue eyes shined brightly. "Don't look at me like that, we have a ceremony to attend." Stephen said, snapping me from my thoughts.
''Can you blame me?" I replied, smirking. A low growl rumbled from his throat making me laugh. "Now look who needs to calm down." I said, kissing his cheek. "How did I get so damn lucky?" Stephen muttered. A knock on the door caught our attention, "Alpha, Luna the others are waiting." Beth announced. I felt excitement bubble within me. "Are you ready?" Stephen asked, smiling at me. "More than ready." I replied. We walked hand in hand until we came to the top of the stair where everyone else was waiting. We were greeted with smiles and everyone looked amazing. "My great white witch." Athea said kissing both my cheeks before she turned to Stephen, "My shield." Athea said, repeating the gesture. "Line up the way you are suppose to walk down, I will announce you one by one." Athea said, smiling around to all of us. The element carriers lined up around Athea with her at the front. The classical music started to play and as Athea started to walk down the stairs I could hear gasps from those who have never laid eyes on the goddess herself. Murmurs exploded as the carriers made their way down behind her. Anahita didn't bother covering herself with water like she has before and to be honest I prefer her that way. She is stunningly beautiful.
I listened carefully so I could hear what was being said. "Good Evening my children, I hope all is well with each of you, please take your seats." Atheas voice boomed out loud and clear. I could hear shuffling which told me everyone was sitting down. "You have traveled here on my request, I am going to introduce to you a very special group of men and women who will be your new counsel. You all are to follow their rules and come to them with any and all issues, they along with their packs as well as dark witches and vampires have fought bravely to keep you all safe and to keep the balance. I fully expect you all to respect them." Athea said. I wish I could see what was going on. "The first I would like to introduce is Alpha Pierce and Water Luna Diane of the Moon Dancer Pack!" Atheas voice boomed out, my eyes landed on the two who straightened their back and started to make their way down stairs. "Alpha Pierce will be among the council of the wolves, while my water Luna Diane will be among the council of witches and wolves." Athea said, clapping her hands, shortly after claps erupted across the room along with howls from their pack. "Next up is Alpha Devin and Fire Luna Emma of the White Rock Pack!" As she announced Devin and Emma made their way down the steps and I could feel the sting of tears in my eyes. Pride swelled inside of me. "Alpha Devin will be among the council of the wolves, while my fire Luna Emma will be among the council of witches and wolves."
Clapping and howls erupted once more, I could hear the pride in their packs' sounds. "Following them is Alpha Austin and Fire Luna Charlotte of the Crescent Moon Pack! Alpha Austin will be among the council of the wolves, and fire Luna Charlotte will be among the council for the witches and wolves!" Athea announced as they both walked down. We moved forward and I could feel the butterflies swarming around inside me. I felt warmth spread inside me and I knew Rose was tapping tin to spirit to aid me. "Alpha Collin and Earth Luna Jasmine of the Moon Rise Pack!" With each name that was called the louder the packs had gotten, not that I minded it is a sense of pride among us. "Alpha Andrew and Wind Luna Chloe of the Sun Rise Pack!" The more names that were called the more excitement filled the room, "Alpha Josh and Wind Luna Stefanie of the Smoke Wood Pack!" Okay we are next. I took a few deep breaths. "Calm my princess." Stephen whispered. Think happy thoughts. This is a good thing, this is needed and we will lead with pride and fairness. "Now lastly I want to introduce two very special people, before I announce them I want to give everyone a little history lesson, Alpha Quincy comes from a royal bloodline of shields, they protect against dark magic where when his shield is in place no dark magic can penetrate it. He is the last of my royal line and he has made me incredibly proud. His Luna, is my Great White Witch."
