Chapter 60:

Alley POV:

Walking down the steps I could hear Bethany groan in pain, "Please just kill me.." Bethany whispered. "No, I know your wolf is leaving you so you won't heal from this." I said, she looked up at me and her eyes were red from crying, the blood around her nose dried up and turned a dark red. The blood dripped down her face onto her neck and her clothes, her legs were mangled beyond repair and her shoulder looked like it was trying to grow another arm from her pack. "My wolf hates me and hasn't talked to me in a long time." Bethany replied. "That should have been your first sign to get your shit together but you were greedy. Denying your wolf from her true mate. Disgraceful." Stephen said. I grabbed a needle and filled it with the melted silver and wolfsbane and walked towards her. "The moon goddess will welcome your wolf with open arms. You on the other hand will rot in hell and I sure hope they torture you worse down there." I said before shoving the needle in her neck, she yelped out and tensed up as I emptied the continents in her system. I stepped back and watched her body convulse uncontrollably before she once again passed out.
I turned to Alex and Brandon, "Each time she wakes up, pump more into her system. She will be executed tomorrow at noon by Stella, anyone who guards her throughout the remainder of the night will need to do the same." I said looking between them both. "We will, we have it taken care of. Try to get some rest, best friend." Brandon said, wrapping me up in a hug. "You boys don't stay down here long, make sure you get something to eat and get some sleep, you all did well." I said, patting Brandons back. "Alright that's enough." Stephen said, pulling me back to him, making me laugh. Possessive Stephen is never too far away. "I want a shower and then I want to tuck Danny in for bed, it is very late." I said pulling Stephen towards the door. As we walked across the lawn I noticed how peaceful everything was at this moment, everyone safely in their homes with little to no worries. This is how we should all live. Getting closer to the house I could hear the chatter from everyone that was waiting for us. All eyes fell on us as we walked in. "So what is the plan?" Jasmine asked. "Tomorrow at noon Bethany will be executed by Stella per her request, for now we have guards on her and we can rest. What time is it?" I asked looking around,
Diane pulled her phone out, "Shit it's nearly 5AM'' Diane muttered. "Let's get whatever rest we can get." Stephen said, "I want to run and check the perimeters, y'all are welcome to join me." Stephen said, looking at the other alphas. "That sounds like a good idea, we can make sure no one is lurking around. You ladies go rest." Josh said. They men went outside where they quickly shifted and ran off. "I don't know about you ladies but I am going to shower." Chloe said. "I'll second that." I said before I started dragging myself up to my room to shower. I quickly stripped my clothes before stepping into the hot water. I let it cascade over my body to relax my muscles, I quickly washed my hair and my body before climbing out, dressing myself and walking to Dannys room. I cracked open the door to see that Danny was peacefully sleeping. I walked over to him and kissed his forehead and pulled the blankets back over his tiny body. "Sweet dreams precious boy." I whispered in his ear. I carefully closed his door and walked back to my room, walking into the bathroom to brush my hair and teeth before crawling into bed. I drifted off to sleep before Stephen even got back home.
I don't remember being able to drift off into a dream before I felt someone shaking me, "Alley wake up.." who the hell would wake me up after I just got to sleep? "Come on girl get up." I grunted and opened one eye to see Emma standing over me. "What the hell Emma? I just went to sleep." I snapped. I heard her laughing "It's 10AM no one else wanted to wake you up. They said you would be cranking, I don't think our mates slept at all last night but you need to get up." Emma said, patting my back. Did she say 10AM? Fuck! "Why didn't anyone wake me up sooner?! Fuck we need to get things ready." I muttered, tossing the blankets off me. "Don't worry, the guys set that up after we went to bed. I was just told Stephen mind linked all the pack members of what is going to happen and to keep children at home." Emma replied. I smiled to myself hearing that Stephen told people to keep kids away. It's nice to have a mate that actually listens. Groaning, I stepped out of the bed and made my way to the bathroom where I washed my face and brushed my teeth and hair. Deciding to pull my hair in a high ponytail, dressing in running shorts and a tank top, I sat on my bed and heard the door creak open. My head snapped over to see who was walking in until I saw Danny pop his head in. "Good morning Alley, they said you were awake but I bet you're hungry.. I told them you'd be hungry." Danny babbled on, a smile came across my face seeing him skip his way towards me smiling.
"Yes, I am hungry so how about we go get some breakfast and then you and nana can do something?" I said as he came to a halt in front of me. His eyes never went back to the shade of green they once were, instead they shined brightly but remained redish ombre. "Breakfast sounds good. Nana said that she was going to help me build a fort!" Danny said, smiling so hard I was sure his face would crack. "A fort?! That sounds amazing. I'll have to come and see it when I get back." I said ruffling his brown hair. "Why can't I come?" He asked with a pout. "There are some things children aren't meant to see." I replied cupping his little checks. "Is it scary? I can handle scary stuff. I said I'd protect you." He said sternly. It took a lot for me not to laugh, the determination he had made him brave. "I know you did, and I have full faith that you will, but what will happen today isn't meant for a child such as you to see." I tried to get him to understand so that I didn't have to say anything about it. "It's about that bad woman who hurt Stella, I overheard some people talking.." Danny said, his little voice trailing off. "Yes, it is. That mean woman has to pay for her crimes." I replied, gauging his reaction. "I understand. Can we go eat?" He asked, pulling at my arms.
I stood off the bed and followed the overly happy Danny skipping down the hall like everything in the world was right. "Ah there she is! It's about time we were just abou-" "Shh!" I cut off Devin and looked down at Danny. Devin nodded his head telling me he understood. "Let's eat quickly and then Danny and I are off to build a fort." My mother said, smiling at Danny. I picked up a banana nut muffin and started munching on it when Stephen came to my side. "Good morning princess." He whispered, kissing the top of my head. "Did you not sleep last night?" I asked him. "Me and the guys crashed out in my office for a few hours. We were setting stuff up." Stephen replied. "Is she awake?" I whispered trying to keep my voice low enough so no one else would hear. "She is, her wolf has left her." Stephen replied and I nodded. Everyone quickly ate and my mother ran off with little Danny. Stella stepped forward with her hair pulled back wearing yoga pants and a long sleeve shirt. As we walked outside Stella had her shoulders squared and her head held high, she was about to get the justice she desperately craved. We approached the waiting crowd that was gathered in front of the stage where Bethany sat. Since her legs were broken she could stand.
Bethany looked defeated in so many ways, Stephen and I walked on the stage gaining everyone's attention. "You all know who Bethany is but you don't know what she has done. She has plotted against your luna and I, captured an element bearers mate and tortured her. We caught her and she has suffered the way she made Stella suffer." Stephen said, his voice booming louder to make everyone understand, I watched as everyone looked at Bethany with absolute disgust. "Stella has asked that she be the one to snap Bethanys neck to get her justice. We have approved and we want this to be a lesson to others. If you hurt someone you will suffer the way you made another suffer, but we have full faith that all our people are peaceful and caring." I said looking at each of them. Stephen and I stepped to the side while Alex and Brandon ushered Stella to the stage. I watched as she walked over to stand in front of Bethany, not once did Bethany raise her head to meet Stellas gaze. "Do you regret what you have done?" Stella asked, her voice full of hate. "The only thing I regret is not killing you when I had the chance." Bethany said, bringing her gaze to meet Stellas. Everyone started shouting their disgust at Bethany when I raised my hand to silence them. Stella turned to look at us and in turn we nodded. Bethany started laughing as if she feared no death. "You will all die." Bethany spat
Stellas reached her arms forward grabbing the back of Bethanys hair and gripping under her chin and violently snapped her neck, we heard the bones breaking before Bethanys hand hung low, not a sign of life remaining in her body, Stella walked off the stage and straight in to the house without giving a single glance to anyone. "Get her unchained and burn her body, she doesn't deserve to be buried within our pack." I stated walking off the stage to go find Stella. "Alley, dark witches have been going in and out of that house like it some kind of camp out.." Tye said running up to me.
I looked up at Tye to see the anger in his eyes, "Well, looks like we are about to confront some dark witches then.." I said with a smile.
