Chapter 90:
Danny POV:
I still can't believe how big the wolves are! I didn't like watching Alley and Stephen leave. They are my new mom and dad and I miss them all the time."Danny, my little seer, why don't you come have a seat with me?" I heard Athea say. She really is so pretty and her hair is so white! Just like snow! I've never seen snow before but I have seen lots of pictures. Athea was really nice to me, all those times my aunt was so mean to me Athea would come visit me and tell me to hold on a little longer. I keep seeing flashes of my aunt dying but I don't feel sad like when my mom and dad died. Why don't I feel sad? Does that make me a mean person? Athea picked me up and set me on a giant swing that was hanging off the huge tree. "What are you thinking about Danny?" I heard Athea ask. "Do you think I am a meanie like my aunt?" I asked looking up. "Of course not, why would you think that?" She asked. "Because I see things.. her dying and I don't feel sad like I did with mommy and daddy. Does that make me a meanie?" I was a little scared of her answer. I don't want to be a meanie. "Danny, look at me." Athea said. I looked up and her dark green eyes were like swirls. "What your aunt did was very wrong, she does not deserve your sadness. You are free to feel however you do but one thing I will advise is forgiveness. You must forgive her for her wrong doings so that you don't carry that around with you." Athea said. "But what if my new mommy and daddy won't take me to see her?" I asked. I know they don't like her.
"They will if you tell them why you need to go see her, Alley and Stephen love you very much." Athea said. "I know they do! They are super nice to me and they even play with me! They let me buy stuff for my new room too!" I get very excited thinking about all my new stuff. I heard Athea giggling, "I'm glad you are much happier but would you like to know a little more about your power?" She asked. "Ohh yes! I get pictures but I don't know what they mean. I am confused." I replied. "It's okay to be confused, but you are able to see the future, it is very important that you do not tell anyone. If you do things can change and not in a good way." Athea said. "So if I tell the things that I see then I could hurt people?" I asked. "Yes, you could. I know you want to do the right thing but you must know I would never allow anything bad to happen." Athea replied. "But I don't want to lose my new family.." I replied. It makes me super sad. "You won't lose any of them my sweet boy, some will be close to death but you have seen that Alley won't let that happen." Athea replied. "But why do they have to get hurt? They are good people!" I didn't mean to shout but I don't like it.
Why do good people have to be hurt? "Danny, I gave you the gift because you are stronger than you think. You can see things that no one else can, you are able to see the future as it changes. You are the key to the future." She replied, patting my back. "What key?" I asked. A key? Like a door? "You are a keeper of the future. You have a strength of your own. You can guide people to their future." She replied. "What is a guide?" I asked. "A guide is someone who leads. You can consider yourself a leader, you can lead someone to stay on the right path." She replied. Ooh, so like Stephan! I want to be like him. He is big and strong! "Why did you give me to Alley and Stephen?" I asked. "I didn't give you to them, I guided you to them. They needed you more than you or they know. I've watched what you have been through and yes, your aunt was supposed to be the next seer. But you are pure in so many ways. They will show you unconditional love, they will protect you and guide you to grow up to be strong and smart. You all needed each other." Athea replied.
"I know they will protect me and love me. They are really nice. I can see what will happen to them in the future. It looks like so much fun! I will have brothers and sisters!" Thinking about it makes me so excited! A family that I want. "Yes, you will have a big family, now I know you are excited but you will have to wait a little while before that happens. Do you have any questions?" I have lots of questions! "Will I get a wolf?" I asked. I want to be just like Stephen and Alley. They have wolves and I don't want to be picked on for not having one."You will have a special wolf actually. You will actually have a female wolf, her name is Ember. Her fur matches your eyes and she is a special wolf just like you are a special boy." Athea said. I like my eyes now! "She matches me! That is so cool! When can I meet her?" I felt so excited! "When we go back to get Stephen and Alley she will be there. You may have a moment with her before you go back. She will come to you when you are of age or you really need her." Athea said. I get to meet her! "Can we go now? I really want to meet her! How will I know if I need her?" I asked. "You will know. Until then are you hungry? I can get some fruit." She asked. "Apples are yummy! Bananas are too!" What other fruits are there? Grapes are yummy but not like apples.
