Chapter 70:
Alley POV:
"What are you?" She asked clawing at the roots that had now moved up her body. "You don't get to ask questions anymore." I said tightening the roots. Her face twisted in anger, her hand latched on to a root and snapped it breaking it from her body. "How dare you speak to me like that!" She roared before breaking the rest of the roots, I smirked at her knowing fully she could have broken them at any moment. Everyone else backed away from us and in that moment it was just me and her. She lunged at me and I met her half way, our bodies collide as we rolled on the ground she landed a punch to my ribs and I heard them crack, she pulled her arm back and swung at me, I jerked my head to the right barely missing her fist. I swung my right arm at her landing a punch to her lower jaw throwing her off of me, I reared my left hand back and used every amount of force I could gather and struck her in her nose, blood spewed out of her nose. She used her hand to claw my face, I could feel her nails dig in to my skin as she pulled down. I jerked my body away trying to wipe the blood out of my eyes. She grabbed me by the hair and drove her knee in to my face, my head flung back and I knew she broke my nose. I could hear Stephen growling behind me. "Keep him back!" I yelled staggering to my feet. I opened my eyes and seen she was stalking towards me, I waited until she got closer before swinging a right hook straight in to her ribs, the familiar cracking sound hit my ears and I knew I broke a few of her ribs. I grabbed her by the head and threw her into a tree. I heard her back hit hard against the tree and heard her grunt.
She slowly stood from the ground and I raised my hands throwing all the elements at her at once. Her body flung backwards and she landed on her back. She grunted and rolled to her side, before she could get back up I surrounded her with fire. I watched her struggle to get to her feet, she didn't seem bothered by the fire. "I must say I am impressed. You are strong and wield all four of the elements." She said, "I wield more than that but I won't say another word unless you call the rest of your vampires off and agree to speak with all of us." I said tilting my head to the side. "Or I could kill you and watch the rest of your little clan suffer." I finished locking my eyes on hers. I could barely make out her features, I knew Rose was healing me but the blood that had gushed out was now rolling down my face. She looked around us to see everyone had stopped all movements.
She narrowed her eyes at me, "Fine. Remove the fire." She said, "I think I'll keep the fire up just in case, how about we start with your name." I said knowing the others were making their way up to us. Her eyes scanned around me to the others. "You work for the dark witches?" She asked, "No, we are in alliance and I could tell you why if you give me your name." I said, trying to gauge her reaction. "My name is Ambrosia." She replied, locking her red eyes on mine. "I'm Alley, and that is Pythia, leader of the dark witches." I said pointing to Pythia who made her way up to stand next to me. "Who are the others? It's clear they are more than just Lunas and Alphas." Ambrosia said, "Are you familiar with the great white witch and the chosen six?" Pythia asked her. As if it all clicked in her head she looked at each of us with shock registered on her face. "You? You're the great white witch I've been hearing about? Why would you want to speak to me?" Ambrosia asked. "Yes, I am. That's why you shouldn't be such a judgy bitch. You never know who people truly are. There is a threat and I was curious to know if you knew some of your vampires were doing work behind your back." I said tilting my head to one side.
Her eyes narrowed and her face hardened. "What do you mean my people are working behind my back? What does the dark witches have to do with this?" Ambrosia asked, gritting her teeth. Well that answered my question. I knew she wouldn't like her own people going against her. "We were attacked by vampires and I'm sure you are familiar with Bosch." I said turning towards Pythia to explain her side of things. "I killed my mother for working with Bosch. We dark witches can't contain white magic. It would kill us but my mother didn't want to listen so I did what I had to do to save my people." Pythia said. "I am aware of who Bosch is, he came to me a few months back trying to get me to work for him but I don't work for anyone." Ambrosia replied. "I figured as much, we don't know how big of an army he has so we came up with a plan to be in alliance with everyone else, if you don't want to hear us out we will leave." I said wiping the blood from my face to get a betting line of sight. "We can speak inside, you showed strength. No one has fought against me and won, you've piqued my curiosity." Ambrosia replied.
I turned to the others to see if they agreed. Stephens look was murderous and I knew he would be furious but we all knew something like this would happen. "We will follow you." I said releasing the fire, Stephen rushed over to me looking me over from head to toe. "I'm fine, it'll heal in time no worries." I said, offering a small smile. His eyes were flashing from his cloudy blue to black and I knew Denver was trying to come out. "I promise not to hurt any of you, my word is my bond. I will show you where you can get cleaned up." Ambrosia said, extending her hand out to me. I looked at her hand and then to her before extending my own to shake her hand. "Follow me." Ambrosia said. Everyone started to follow and as soon as I started to move Stephen held me back. "Are you sure you're okay?" He continued to look me over. "Yes, you can help me get cleaned up okay?" I said taking his hand, he simply nodded before picking me up bridal style and started following the others.
