CHAPTER 100
The following day in Lycan territory, the Lycans and werewolves that resided within went about their various activities. Almost everyone had a smile on, as though they were aware of the activities that took place the previous night.
“I am pleased to know you like him, and if I am to be truthful, I have always had the hunch that you two liked yourselves.” Rania giggled as she tapped her sister on the back.
“Your hunch is correct, for the first time.”
“At least you agree, so it is a win, win. Well if you ask me, you two actually look great together, and I know brother would approve of him, because I approve already, although we know he tends to overprotective, most of the times. But that does not stop him from telling the truth when he sees it, and the truth in this matter is that you love and I know he loves you too.”
“How are you so confident he loves me too.” Gina questioned.
“Well nothing you don’t know about.” Rania responded.
“Tell me. I know you, and I am sure it is something I don’t know about.” Gina laughed
“A quick summary is that I spoke to a few of Will’s friends and Avyanna, so I think I know well enough to say, he loves you too.” Rania smiled.
“I am extremely excited to know you support me and you understand me, it has been extraordinary having you in this family, you know sometimes the reason I continue to be happy, is you and Baron. Well I am just excited about everything.”
“I am with you always, I love you sister.”
“Me too Rania. Me too.” Rania and her sister, continued to talk of how things had drastically changed in all the kingdoms.
They were happy to have experienced the defeat of Theseus Brute. They knew he was actually a powerful creature but the united creatures were a much stronger force to reckon with. How would they have believed that Nancy, who kidnapped Rania, killed Avyanna, stole the deed of the kingdom Wales would stop all atrocity and be a part of the revolution.
The girls knew only but a little of who Nancy was and what she could do. She had only shared the story everyone knew about and she buried the rest to history.
Hours later, creatures from all over NetherRealm assembled at the Lycan territory. The sisters had the bells and someone blew the trumpet.
Whenever the trumpet was blown, it only meant two things; it was either a bad thing had befallen the territory of the Lycans, or the Werewolves of good news had visited the Lycan territory.
Rania and Gina went down to look for Avyanna and Baron. To their amazement, the ball room was decorated with flowers of different sort, ribbons on the flower pots, and scented candles burned like incense.
What had happened was a good one; The Lycan Alpha was going to publicly announce The Luna of Wales as his mate, in front of all the kingdoms.
Rania and Gina hugged Avyanna, telling her how long they had waited for the pronouncement. It was not a hidden affair but it made more sense knowing it was now a legal affair.
Avyanna prepared in her room with only Rania and Gina to keep her company. She told the girls that she was expectant and happy to be known as the mate to the great Alpha.
Gina made a joke of how she knew her brother to be strict and untamed, how he made his decisions without the consent of creatures, how he was never a man of calm words, and how he would love only but a week and the next he was on his way to get another for just the pleasure of the night.
These were things Avyanna, and of course Rania, knew already so they waited for the conclusion of what Gina was actually trying to say. They knew already but hearing it made some impact to them.
Gina looked at the ladies as they waited for her conclusion. She knew she had to make it sound very intellectual for if she did not, her sister would make a joke out of it.
“Thank you, Avyanna. Many tried but it was you who won, and you did not only win the heart of my brother, but the heart of the entire Lycan territory. We love you. Rania and I hope for a better future ahead.” Gina smiled at Rania, as though she knew Rania would not utter a word.
Avyanna’s emotions overwhelmed her. She told Rania and Gina, “Stay with me until the pronouncement is over.”
Avyanna wore a blue gown that had chunks of big red diamonds on it. She wore the amulet her mom gave her and the red gloves her father presented to her on her fourteenth birthday.
The Ball room was filled with sirens, vampires, wolves and even demons.
Avyanna walked in with Rania and Gin. They saw Nancy, Daniella, and even Vanessa. Avyanna knew Vanessa would not have come without the influence of Nancy, but all the same she was happy to see her.
The event started about thirty minutes later.
Avyanna sat, keenly observing everyone who was present in her occasion. Then she felt a strange presence in the ball room. Avyanna looked carefully to be sure she was not hallucinating. She saw a young creature at the extreme end of the ball room who gave her a smirk.
Avyanna then turned to look at Gina or Rania for confirmation; maybe they knew the strange creature but the sisters were not paying attention to the direction Avy looked at. Avyanna looked at the end of the ball to confirm if she saw any creature there but no one was there anymore.
She decided to be calm. “Maybe it is the intensity of my anxiety to see this pronouncement done and over with.” She breathed.
Jonathan welcomed everyone. He explained the reason they were gathered and appreciated them for being in attendance.
Baron climbed up the stage with Avyanna. The creatures were in beaut and splendor to witness great occasions happen in their time. Baron and Avyanna are made to exchange the vows of the great Alphas.
“Together we strive in the moment of life, to live or to die with us in our hearts. I make you my mate and I love you the same. The moon is my witness and so is the myth that I cherish and obey. My mate this day I choose, My blood this day I use.” Baron and Avyanna said in unison.
They stamped each other with their blood to mark that they belonged to each other.
After they read out the covenant of the Alpha’s mate, the Lycan territory and that of Kingdom wales screamed for joy as they great Alphas were proclaimed mates.
Avyanna had completely forgotten the creature she saw earlier as she received gifts from all kingdoms.
As she received gifts from everyone, an ominous creature, whose face Avy couldn’t really see, handed over a letter to Avyanna.
The letter had an inscription that read: THESEUS BRUTE LIVES.
Avyanna immediately called Baron aside and told him about it, but he disregarded the information.
“It’s just a prank.” Baron said, “You crushed him and he will never make it out of underworld.”
“Okay.” Avyanna soon forgot about it and continued with her guests. She told Nancy how grateful she was that Vanessa attended.
After the ceremony had ended, Avyanna invited her close friends for dinner.
The realms were filled with joy. They danced and sang for it was time for a greater generation of creatures to emerge from the Alphas.
Little did they know that a greater terror was about to emerge from the depths of the Underworld.
