CHAPTER 47

CHAPTER FOURTY SEVEN
Back at the pack house, Nancy sat quietly smiling to herself and plotting means to rally a few Omegas who were loyal to her.
The Omegas had grown to love Nancy because of how she stood up for them and spoke on her behalf, and most of them would do what she asked.
Nancy knew that whatever she had to do she had to be smart about it and not raise any suspicion about it. She had already started pulling a few strings in the kingdom to the knowledge of a select few omegas, and she was going to use the opportunity to tie more strings.
On the noon of the day that Ericson left, she realized that she had enough time to do what she had always wanted to do; dig her fingers deeper into the control unit of the pack house and rally more people to her side. It seemed as if she would fade into oblivion if she didn’t use the opportunity presented to her well. She began to look for ways to facilitate her plan.
She decided to consult with her secret spy first., so she picked up her phone and dialed. “Hello Rita. How are you doing today?”
“I am doing great. What do you need my help with today? You never got back to me about what I did for you.” The chief cook received the call and spoke with a hint of loyalty to Nancy.
“I completely forgot about that. I got out of the hospital and everything was kind of a rush.” Nancy said.
“I hope you are okay? When you said you needed me to say exactly what I saw in the kitchen that day, I had no idea that you were going to hurt yourself.” Rita sounded concerned about Nancy’s wellbeing.
“Believe you me, I am totally okay and feeling very good. You will be rewarded for what you did.” Nancy smiled. Nancy had lied to Rita that she was going to give her a huge chunk of money if she did a few odd jobs for her. Rita had agreed, so Nancy used that to control and manipulate Rita into doing her bidding.
“Okay Nancy, I await the reward, and let me know how else I can help you.” Rita said.
“About that, I need your help.”
“Okay. What do you need my help with?” Rita asked, ready to do anything Nancy asked.
“I need you to get into Alpha Ericson’s office and get me the file you see on his table. After that, I need you to get, at most, three omegas that work for you in the kitchen to prepare a meal.” Nancy elaborated.
“How do I sneak inside the Alpha’s office, what if he is there?” Rita asked in fright.
“Trust me, you do not have to worry about that. The Alpha is out of town and will be for sometime. All you have to watch out for is his little brother Vincent and the Zeta, Jonathan.” Nancy fiddled with her fingernails as she gave Rita the directions.
“Okay. I will do just that. Why do you need the document anyway? What is in it?” Rita asked.
“Don’t ask questions that you don’t want to know the answer to my dear Rita.” With that, Nancy ended the call.
The document she sought had the deed to properties in the pack house and Wales as a whole. If Nancy had her hands on it, she would have enough knowledge about where to settle and concentrate her plans. Better yet, if she kept the documents, she would have the rights to half of Wales and half of the Pack House. And she planned to keep the documents for herself.
While Nancy waited for an answer from Rita, she decided to meet with Will and Vanessa to see if she could get them on her side.
Before she left, she looked into the mirror, she smiled at her reflection, blew a kiss at it, and walked out of her room.
Vincent was the first person she saw lurking around the mansion aimlessly. Whe he saw her, he said, “Do try to yell louder next time you shag my brother. I don’t think the whole pack heard you well.” He was filled with vexation but eventually calmed himself down.
“I am so sorry if my screams aggravated you Sir. I am so sorry. The Alpha is quite a …” Nancy faked an act of innocence in front of Vincent but he cut her off.
“Save it! I have no intentions of knowing.” He raised his voice, loud enough to be heard by Jonathan who was passing by.
“I am so sorry. It won’t happen again.” She started crying like Vincent had hurt her physically.
“What is going on here?” Jonathan asked.
“Nothing important, She is just faking tears like a little baby as usual.” Vincent walked away but Jonathan called him aside and whispered to him.
“Your brother will not like what you just did very much, because of this Omega is his mate. So please mind the words you say.” Jonathan spoke with a calm voice and concern for Vincent.
“I did nothing, I am only speaking the truth everyone is hiding from.” Vincent argued.
“It’s okay. I’ve got it from here.” Jonathan said, then he turned to Nancy and consoled her. “ Forget about what happened, let’s get you back to your room.” He led her back to her room.
Jonathan wasn’t the noisy kind, he was precise, and calculated, and above all he was handsome regardless of his scars.
Nancy couldn’t even control her lasciviousness around him, “Follow me.” She catwalked seductively in front of him as she led him to her room, still faking tears.
In the room, Nancy was already trying her best to seduce Jonathan, “Thank you so much for saving me from him.” She backed him and took off her top like she was ignorant of his presence in the room. She was just left with her bra and the jean trousers that she wore.
“I am going to need you to lay low until the Alpha returns.” Jonathan said, ignoring her obvious antics to seduce him. He still couldn’t lie to himself that she was indeed sexually appealing.
“Okay. I will lay low. I appreciate your concern, it’s just that, it gets really lonely sometimes, I wish I had someone as buff as you to keep me company.” Nancy said.
“I am flattered. I will leave you now.” Jonathan was about to walk out of the room. He was getting uncomfortable with the way that the Omega was being weirdly seductive.
“Wait.” Nancy said sharply, “I know you heard me last night when I was riding your alpha.” She moved closer to his face like she wanted to kiss him. closer, until he could feel her breath in his face. Closer, like their lips almost collided.
“Everyone heard you Nancy. You howl like …” Jonathan was still not phased by her antics, yet.
“I bet you can’t make me howl like the Alpha did.” Nancy said, moving her soft palms along his groin area.
“I have no intentions to. You have to stand down.”
“I bet you do.” She rushed her lips into his mouth, but he shoved her away and walked out of the room.
Just before he left he turned to her and said, “Don’t do that again.” Jonathan left with a conflicted mind, not sure who the omega actually was.
Just then her phone rang; it was Rita.
"Do you have the documents?" Nnacy asked hastily, putting her top back on.
"Yes, I managed to sneak them out of the office. What's the plan now?" Rita answered panting heavily like she was running from something.
"You need to get them to me as soon as possible. Do you have a way to get here without being followed?" Nancy asked.
“I can take the back streets and use some of my old tricks to shake anyone who might be tailing me." Rita searched around incase anyone was following her.
"I'll see you soon then. Let's hope we can get out of this cleanly. Have you rallied the omegas?" Nancy asked.
“Not yet. But I will once I deliver this document to you.” Rita answered. Nancy then thought of another plan.
“Change of plans. Keep the document with you, summon a secret dinner for all omegas and prepare a very nice meal for them. When the dinner is on, I will get the document from you.” Nancy suggested.
" Okay, I will do just that." Rita obliged.

Come evening, Rita had done what Nancy asked of her and summoned all the omegas at the dining table.
Nancy spoke to the omegas with so much respect, she spoke words that tried to sway them into being loyal to her. She said words like, “I will take care of you all, when I get to the throne.”
She even had the chief cook prepare them a very scrumptious meal. She kept speaking to them and swaying them to be loyal to her and; “not the Royalties that do not care about you.”
When the festivities was ongoing, Rita called Nancy aside and slipped the document into her grasp. Nancy smiled wickedly, for her plans were in full motion. She had all the Omegas at her beck and call, and the deed to the half of two wolf kingdoms.
Ericson was gradually falling into her trap, all Nancy needed was Avyanna to come back to Wales for her to carry out her next line of action.
Things were really going as she had planned..
