CHAPTER 77

CHAPTER SEVENTY-SEVEN
Beneath Baron's shell of toughness was a romantic Lycan Alpha who would move heaven and earth to make his lady feel loved.
Avyanna and Baron picked a spot in the restaurant to sit, then Baron adjusted the chair that Avyanna chose to sit on. It was a chair that was opposite a gigantic mirror that had small love stickers on it. They scanned through the menu list and picked the meal from the menu that they both felt comfortable with.
Baron was lowkey not in support of the meal that was offered because he felt the restaurant couldn't prepare a tasty meal. He told Avyanna that Chandeliers and good songs did not necessarily mean that the food would taste good. He was grateful they had gotten the wine from the wine shop because, from the list the restaurant offered, he did not see any wine that would entice him.
“I believe you should give it a try, you are judging a book by its cover.” Avyanna laughed.
"If I am judging this book by its cover, then, by all means the food should be quite tasty, My Lady. I feel you are the one actually judging a book by its cover. If you were not judging a book by its cover, you would have allowed us to go over there and have this meal in peace, that is just the truth.” Baron chuckled as he pointed to another restaurant opposite the one they were in, he felt that would have been a better option.
“No, I am not judging anybody or anywhere, I just feel the meal would taste better here, because...” Avyanna got stuck, she literally had no other reason, except that it had a finer interior design; the chairs were all in the shape of a heart, the chandeliers, and the flowers on every table, plus the waiter and waitress appealed to her.
“Because of what Avyanna?” Baron smirked.
“Well, because I just like it master Baron-metric, you just over-calculate stuff way too much. This is just going to be one nice, simple, and pleasant meal.“ She changed his name in humor and continued to laugh about the way the conversation grew to intensity.
“Nice sense of humor, I can boast that we are here only because of the interiors, just the interiors and nothing else.“ Baron tried to think of any other reason she had, but he found none.
“You are so sure.” Avyanna giggled as she opened the wine they got from the wine store.
“Yes I am hundred percent sure, you probably just want to have a feel of the decor and interior, why don’t you order a glass of wine here? why drink this one? I thought you believed in their services“. Baron stretched his hands to get the bottle of wine, but Avyanna drew it closer to herself.
“Well, I just want to have a taste of it and you never can tell exactly... you never can tell why I am here exactly.” Avyanna smiled as she played with her hair.
“That sounds suspicious, I never can tell what? what exactly do you mean by I can never tell?” Baron looked at her, the smile made it impossible for him to close his mouth, he was happy to sit next to her, make her smile and laugh over the silly conversations they had.
“You never can tell if I have seen another hot wolf, or I just wanted to fuck him, so I am here to take a clearer view of the wolf’s body." She twirled the locks on her hair flirtatiously, "I want to see if he can handle me, make me moan and all,” Avyanna said with a smirk on her face.
“I do not like the sound of that Avyanna,” Baron said sternly. He did not like the conversation. He was repulsed by the mere thought of another wolf tapping Avyanna’s ass, he failed to decipher Avy's true intentions.
“What? the sound of what?" Avyanna knew she had said something she was not supposed to.
“The sound of some random wolf fuck you. I'm getting jealous already."
“What makes you think he is random?“ Avyanna giggled, she saw how uncomfortable Baron became, she wanted to laugh but, why would she? it would piss Baron off.
“So he is not random. Wow, who is he? is he here?” Baron questioned in curiosity.
“And if he is here, you think I would point him to you, so you smash his head on these beautiful walls, especially with the way you are all tight and serious, hell never!” Avyanna giggled.
“I can see you have some dark humor going on here, but I don’t like it. You mean I don’t fuck you good, right? Sincerely, you should have picked a second topic. I do not like this one.” Baron had beads of sweat rolling down his forehead. He knew in a way that Avyanna joked a lot, especially with him, and a part of him still knew that this was a mere joke, but he could not help but take it seriously.
“Are you trying to compare yourself right now?” Avyanna could see he did not like the conversation, she tried to stop the conversation, but she was too in touch with her feminine side at the moment, she just wanted to know the end point of their conversation.
The waiter brought their food, and Avyanna told him a "thank you", with a smile on her face. Baron watched the waiter walk away, he suddenly just nursed hatred for the poor waiter. He did not even know him, but could if he wanted to. He was Baron.
“Is that the creature?” Baron asked.
“Oh please, do not think so low of me, it is only you that I need, it is only you that I want, forget what I said, it was only a joke, you know it is just a joke. You fuck me good. Do not ever question my love, my loyalty, my honesty, and our sex.” Avyanna held the hand of Baron. She could feel his jealousy rise and it made her feel absurdly good. 'Could he be so jealous and petty?' Avyanna wondered. It was the first time she got to see him be so petty and jealous.
Avyanna asked to eat, and she held his hand all through their stay in the restaurant, she remembered what the old myth said, 'Never threaten the love of a man, if he keeps proving himself, be joyful and rejoice, but lest you continue to question his love and action, he will flee in seek for peace.'
She told herself it would be the last time that she placed him in such a terrible situation, and he was too sensitive when it came to their love affair. Avyanna cared for his well-being, so anything that would keep him unhappy, she was never going to do it.
Vanessa angrily watched the couple as they came out of the restaurant, she made a quick video of them and then departed, and she had been inside the other restaurant opposite the one that they patronized.
One could easily believe that Vanessa was not in the right sense of mind to think things through, because she just did whatever seemed like justice for her brother, Ericson.
Avyanna cheered Baron up, even before they left the restaurant, she made sure he laughed, and she made sure she reassured him that he was the only man in her life, and she wanted no other person. It was the first time that a man had made her feel so safe and free of depression.
Then to crown up the reconciliation, the food was not delicious, just as Baron said it wouldn’t, and this made Baron laugh at Avyanna.
She was disappointed, “I told you that the food was not going to be delicious, I told you but you would not believe me.“ Baron laughed hard. This was a win for him, he had told her that the restaurant was a bag of shame, a good-for-nothing food place, but she chose aesthetics over quality food. Baron had some relief to know that the waiter would never see his Avyanna again, even if he knew that the waiter and Avyanna were not friends, it still gave him a pleasure to think about.
“They disappointed me, but I am sure you would not.” Avyanna smiled at him.
“If you are talking about what I am thinking, then be assured that I will not disappoint you.”
They both laughed out loud, as they spoke about the food, Baron brought up the fact, that it was his idea, they went with a win, and for that, he deserved an accolade.

The room was a bit dark and the smell aroused Baron and his mate, Avyanna.
They quietly took off their clothes and went about the room, looking for a comfortable spot to get sexual. They started on the bed, then they went to the floor, and back to the table. Baron fucked Avyanna, as though he had a point to prove. Avyanna’s words about her and another male wolf rang in his head, so he was ready to give all of himself. He sucked on any part of Avyanna’s body his mouth could get, and the song that played in the room, turned Avyanna on, she could not contain the pleasure, she called his name loudly, especially when he went harder.
“Do you like it?” Baron asked as he thrust in and out.
“I do baby.” Avyanna struggled to reply, she breathed faster and her hands were on her breast.
“Do I make you feel good? Do you want me to continue?” Baron said in between the hard strokes, he gasped as he spoke to his one and only mate.
“Yes, yes, yes I do,” Avyanna screamed out, she knew something was different about the sex, the momentum, and speed; it was as if Baron had rehearsed all he wanted to do to her. This time he fucked her, he did not give her space to breathe or climb on him, it was either he had her in his arms, and planted his all over her body, or he held her tight and fucked her hard. If only she knew the extra strength was from the conversation she had with him earlier.
He wanted this sex to leave a print in her mind.
After the rigorous fuck, Avyanna and Baron went to shower, they smiled and kissed each other. They could not forget about the meal they had earlier, she told Baron that even if the food was not a supposedly tasty one, she could drop a customer review. She said she was going to help the restaurant, but Baron refused, of course, why would he not, after the intimate conversation they had in the restaurant, before that time?
They lay on the bed when a message came for Baron. He then had to leave her on the bed to attend to the issues, and he kissed for about six times before he left with a promise he would be by her side in no time.
Avyanna thought to herself. She pictured the amount of fun she usually had with Baron in a day, she then remembered an old myth, and the myth jumped into her mind.
As she lay naked on the bed, she winced, “Everything is becoming like a fairytale. When everything goes so well, something very terrible is bound to happen soon.”
"Like I said a great danger is coming." Katie concurred. "Playtime's over Avyanna, you ought to be ready."
