CHAPTER SEVENTY

Then Vanessa shyly sat back down and served herself a baguette and some coffee from the array of meals served at the table.
Baron then got up from the awkward table and walked away. He summoned Steve to his office.
“I am going to be gone for most of the day. I need you to keep a lid on things, especially with the differences and spontaneous arguments happening in the pack.” He said to Steve.
“Okay. I will not fail you.” Steve bowed his head and turned around to walk away.
“One more thing.” Baron called him back.

Avyanna left the table when she was done with breakfast and took a walk through the Lycan territory, ensuring that her people were okay and free of grudges. The night before really gave her the motivation that she needed to do what she was doing with an enthusiastic smile.
She was interrupted by Steve who said, “Avyanna.”
