CHAPTER 91

CHAPTER NINETY ONE
“Bring it on!” Theseus roared with a proud smile.
He adopted a battle-ready stance; his long sharp claws ready to slice, as his arms were spread open, his eyes turned red.
Theseus Brute was not expecting the three wolves to attack him, neither did he expect Thomas to have such energy and speed.
“Have at it!” Thomas roared as he went for Theseus’s face. He moved with light-speed, taking out his claws and scratching the very face of the great Theseus Brute.
Before ‘the devil’ could gain momentum and stamina, the Luna attacked.
“Let’s get him Katie.” Katie moved so fast all over Theseus body. She tore whatever her paws could clench.
The fight was fueled by anger. Roy held Theseus’ left leg firmly with his teeth, and he dragged him down.
Katie climbed on top of the great Theseus. She aimed for his face, but he flung her away.
“Play time’s over.” Theseus grabbed Katie’s head and smashed it on the wall.
“I agree.” Nancy charged at Theseus with a feminine battlecry.
“Amateur.” Theseus flung his grip to her neck and clutched it immediately. Nancy choked on Theseus grip, that was when Thomas roared, “Let her go!”
Thomas kicked the hand that Theseus gripped Nancy’s neck with. Theseus in turn let go of Nancy and faced Thomas.
“I see you’re a loverboy now. Let me show you what happens to lover boys.” Theseus threw a punch at Thomas but the latter dodged. They kept exchanging empty blows as Nancy got back on her feet and Baron moved to Avy.
Roy returned to Baron and rushed to see if Avyanna was okay.
“Avyanna! Talk to me.” He spoke with so much panic.
Avy coughed up blood. “I am good. Let’s get this son of a bitch!”
Then Katie returned. Immediately Baron confirmed that Avyanna was okay, he summoned Roy and rushed back at Theseus, aimed for the knees.
Thomas was the only one who the devil could not hit, for he was too fast and also bigger than the other two Alphas. Thomas climbed the back of Theseus and griped his left ear in his mouth. He moved around with Theseus.
Theseus shook and wiggled his body, trying to shake the wolf off his body. But, Thomas was not going to let the devil escape from his sight. He had killed a lot of people for the sake of this creature.
Avyanna felt heavy for a while, but she was not going to leave the Alphas to make the devil suffer without her contribution so she flew and landed on the shoulder of Theseus. She fought with every energy she had.
It seemed Katie knew they would have a fight like this. She howled and bit Theseus on his neck. Theseus did not see that coming.
He angrily hit Katie’s knees and she fell down yet again, Baron, Thomas, and Nancy kept on with the fight.
“This is unexpected. Let’s turn it up a notch.” Theseus smirked darkly, then he regained his stamina as the fight continued.
Indeed, Theseus’ turned things up a notch. With a speed faster than light, he plunged his claws into Thomas’ chest, creating a large hole in his chest.
Thomas fell to the ground, and blood leaked out of his mouth. Thomas bled a lot, but that was not enough to stop him. The huge hole on his chest was nothing against his determination.
“Where do you think you are going?” Thomas smiled his psychopathic smile but this time it was extremely menacing, shockingly evil, and vile. His green eyes were very bright and his hands gripped Theseus.
“You are one strong bastard, I will give you that.” Theseus said.
“And you are one cowardly wolf.” Theseus spat out blood.
“Nope. You are one dead wolf.”
“Not yet!” Thomas roared. He was a fierce fighter who went with full force again. He bit the right hand of the devil and struggled on it like he wanted to rip it off.
“Goodbye my loyal dog!” Theseus smiled and drove another hole through Thomas.
“No!” Nancy screamed. “You bastard! I will end you!” Nancy went rabid. She metamorphosed into a true siren form, and her teeth sharpened like a vampire’s own.
Theseus tossed the almost lifeless body of Thomas at Nancy, pushing Nancy to the ground.
“No!” Baron ran towards Theseus with force, attacking him with all his might.
Nancy couldn’t hold back her tears. “Thomas?” She checked on Thomas, but he was half-dead and slowly slipping away from the land of the living.
“Na… Nan… see.” Thomas wheezed with a soft psychopathic smile.
Baron and Avyanna then tried to attack Theseus but he opened a portal that led him out of Uncertainty.
“We will pick this up some other time. I wonder how you all will survive now that I have killed the only person that was able to almost land an attack at me. Pathetic!” Theseus roared as he ascended slowly to the portal above.
“You are going nowhere!” Nancy yelled as she flung herself at Theseus, gripping the rim of his garment to stop him, from accessing the portal, but her grip was not strong enough.
“You’re the next person I kill.” Theseus barked at Nancy before he completely disappeared into the portal.
Without Theseus, the atmosphere was a very tense one without the noise.
There was a dead alpha and three critically wounded, and that was what happened when Theseus was holding back.
Katie transformed back into Avyanna. She had sustained an injury on her left leg.
Baron attended to her, so did Nancy to Thomas.
“You can make it.” Nancy sobbed over Thomas body.
With his last strength, he smiled and formed a sentence. “It’s too late for me. Make sure you avenge me.” Thomas coughed out of pain before he gave up the ghost.
He died with a smile on his face because for a split second, he saw fear in the face of the great Theseus Brute.
He died a happy wolf. He had seen Nancy stay beside him and Theseus run out of fear; two things he did not expect to see in his life time.
Nancy cried over the body of Thomas, but she could not stay there and mourn for long. She did not know if to carry his body or not. Even if she wanted to, he was bigger than she was.
Nancy held her tears. She didn’t want it to seem like Theseus had defeated her when the real was had not even begun yet.
“Follow me if you want to live.” Nancy said to Baron and Avyanna.
They reluctantly followed her. Nancy led Avyanna and Baron through a secret door that had a skull on it. It was an escape route that no one knew in the kingdom knew about. Even herself would not have known about it, if it was not for Thomas, who took her to it one certain time to have sex.
Baron carried Avyanna on his shoulder for her knee was wounded.
Avyanna asked Baron and Nancy to come to her Kingdom, and they agreed to it. Nancy was mute for the rest of the journey.
They were exhausted over the fight, but successfully they escaped from NetherRealm without being spotted.
Avyanna could not believe how the mighty Thomas who fought side by side with them was dead. She told Baron that she feels they would have protected him more.
“Who the hell was he? We should have protected Thomas.” Avyanna was conflicted.
Baron just said, “Forget all that happened, we were outmatched and unprepared and we did that good.”
“You saw it. He is something else!” Avyanna said.
“On my word. We will find Theseus and kill him!” He snarled.
