Chapter 101

EPILOGUE
Chapter 1
Blue light reflected from the sky and the waterfalls, harmonies from the birds and the bees. The kingdoms hadn’t heard or seen any catastrophe from any of the creatures that lived in all of the neighboring kingdoms and as expected the Lycan’s and the Wales bonded tremendously, they waxed stronger and Baron’s territory became even more dreadful.
Creatures lived creatively amongst themselves, they no longer hid plans agenda’s and ideas from one another, the unity exhibited from the kingdoms had never been recorded in the scrolls and sheets of history but who knows maybe it would as the vampires worked with the wolves, and as the Sirens worked with the Demons. The creatures believed that they would never be defeated by intruders and if war arose they would win, especially since they now had Avyanna and Baron as one. The hopes of the creatures could never be downtrodden, if they remained united no one, no group or gang would win against them.
Avyanna had not experienced childbirth until after she gave birth to Bavanda, Avyanna had not only proven that she was a true wolverine but she also proved that she could become not just a mother creature, but a great one. She had changed the rules and enacted the ones that was reasonable to an extent, they allowed inter-kingdom training with the believe that each creature would teach the next creature a few tricks to survive in battle.
Bavanda liked the idea of training even as a young female toddler she grew up wanting to know a thing or all that included how to win wars and choose weapons many rumored that it was passed down unto her from her mother but that could not be possibly true as her dad was also a warrior. The house of Baron and Avyanna grew from strength to strength, the happiness was contagious down to the least creature in their stead. Rania taught the young child everything she had learnt as a creature, she even told her what to search for in a male creature that qualified him to be a responsible lover. Gina on the other hand taught her how to guide her heart and also when to run, she told her that it was not every war a creature should venture into for the one who fled lived to fight again.
It was a moist and dew morning Avyanna and Baron sat on the bed to sought out the males who would visit their daughter on her eighteenth birthday, Baron could not still believe that it was eighteen years already and Bavanda was now a part of the family, he could not believe he had been a father for eighteen solid years and Avyanna was heavily pregnant with another child on the way, the pregnancy had just two months before Avyanna would put to birth. Baron told Avyanna that he felt he had not done enough for Bavanda and it was only Avyanna who had held Bavanda by her arms to tell her what was right and what was not, he expressed himself with the rumor as a reference, he told her that the kingdom too agreed with his insatiable feeling towards how Bavanda was raised, he said he was too busy as he frequented different kingdoms to teach or support them. Avyanna told him never to repeat what he said, she told him that she would have not been able to train their child alone and all that Bavanda knew was not her knowledge alone and she was not sure she would be able to train Bavanda alone without the help of her husband Baron, not to forget his sister’s Rania and Gina. Avyanna told Baron that he had always been around to support and care for everyone in the family, she told him that she was so grateful to the spirits that lead her to him and she was also confident that they could achieve greater than they had achieved. Avyanna reminded him how she supported her when she said she was not ready to bear another child until Bavanda was either seventeen or eighteen. She reminded him how he supported her when she lost the first child they had before Bavanda due to still birth. Avyanna counted a thousand good that Baron had done for her and concluded that he was more than a part of her life and Bavanda’s life.
“What plans do you have for the occasion my love, let us remember not the awful feeling and plan, prepare and coordinate all of the things needed to make Bavanda’s birthday a success “. Avyanna told Baron as she consistently rubbed her protruded belly.
“I would not have an idea for an exotic party like the one we intend to prepare for our baby” Baron smiled.
“Well even if you would not know the color, the flower, the cake and appetizers we ought to choose from, at least you would know the male creatures that are expected to be in attendance for the party or don’t you?”.
“Of course, I do, why won’t I?”.
“Of course, why won’t you?”. Avyanna repeated as she chuckled.
“My Love I have a list of young and responsible creatures who had shown interest earlier but I choose from the set that were able to pass all of our test and trainings, providing a reputable result”. Baron was not the type to joke when it involved love and commitment he was a strict type when it came to such, the same way he took love and commitment personal, was also the same way he took it especially when a family member was included.
“I know you would be careful with such matters that was the main purpose behind the postponement for the visiting arrangements, I just wanted to be sure you are comfortable with the creatures that would be in attendance. Since that is settled let’s talk about how Bavanda would cope without finding her wolf. She had tried many times but to no avail, I wish she would find it soon” Avyanna stood up from the bed and walked into the bathroom, she stayed for about twenty minutes came out of the bathroom to get a drink from the table but Baron refused that she drank alcohol, he knew she feared greatly for her child like what if she never saw her wolf and became timid and fearful, but that was something that was not possible Baron knew that Bavanda was a fighter just like himself and his wife Avyanna, she would not be left alone without a wolf. The only thing he could not tell was when it would happen.
“No do not think so little of our warrior princess, she is a fighter, a warrior, our child. I am sure her transformation would take place faster than we expect”.
“How fast, her eighteenth birthday is close if only the moon goddess would surprise her” Avyanna sat in between her husband’s legs, rested her back on his chest, and placed her head on his shoulder. Baron stretched his hands out so he could reach for her stomach, he rubbed on it gently as he continued to wonder why his wife had decided to panic over Bavanda’s transformation especially when she knew worry was not good for her condition.
“My Love you should not allow yourself to worry over nothing, do not bother much about Bavanda when it is time it would happen”.
“When my love I remember how it felt to be without ones wolf it was not a good experience, I myself felt terrible “.
“My love Bavanda knows every skill and every weapon suit enough to win a war, she is highly equipped. All that is left to make our super unique child even more adorable is her wolf abilities which will eventually happen” Baron was not sure of how he would end the conversation with Avyanna, he did not want her to continue her panic over Bavanda so he thought of something that would deviate her from all that she worried about so he thought of bringing the party conversation back, but Avyanna had something to say so he waited patiently for his wife to ask whatever she wanted.
“I know our child is a very intelligent creature she is wise and resilient. I am sure she would scale through but”.
“But we need to continue our plan for her party. We need to ask Rania, Nathan and Jonathan to present letters to the head of all the kingdoms, we will have Gina and the other’s work with you for the preparation of food, drink, flowers and our dresses. Plus, you need to be calm so our little Alexander would not be disturbed.” Baron said to Avyanna as he removed his hands from her stomach and gently laid her on the bed.
“You treat me like a child and you care for me so much, your tender touch and words can easily eradicate my worries, you know how to pacify and heal my soul.” Avyanna gripped Baron’s hands and placed them on her breast.
“If I am not tender towards you my choice then I do not see whom I could ever be tender with, you are my responsibility, my friend, my partner, my love, my loyalty, my honesty, my responsibility, my all in one. I truly love and appreciate you so therefore it is my sole purpose and responsibility that I protect, care, provide and love you with everything in me, I just want to see you happy and free from anxiety “.
“All you have said is all you have done. I don’t regret loving you and I would never regret standing by you and being your wife. Life has been so much easier with you and I appreciate that, I can remember when you told me “Avyanna let me take care of you” those words had shaped my heart from that moment till date, you have always cared for me from the start and I cherish you so much for that and all that I can not count”. Avyanna held back her tears as she did not want Baron to feel emotional as well.
“My love I want you to know that I am your best friend, your husband, your partner in all things and your family. You accepting me and allowing me into your heart is more honorable and I am the lucky one here not you” Baron let out a mild laughter.
“Well that makes us even as we are both lucky”. Avyanna laughed as well, that was one easy thing for Baron to do. Sometimes he would laugh for no reason and that alone would make Avyanna laugh, he knew she was getting all emotional and if he laughed she would have no other choice than to same, Avyanna easily paid obeisance to his laughter.
“More of my pleasure ma” Baron smiled as he tickled Avyanna, he placed his hands on her cheek and kissed her.
“My love that’s the best way to end my anxiety” Avyanna said as she smiled.
“What do you mean my love” Baron said as he laughed he knew that she would have figured out the way he had swapped the conversation from Bavanda to the memory of the past.
“Forget about it my love, I am happy you were able to calm me down” Avyanna laughed she stood up from the bed and headed straight for the alcohol on the table, Baron hurriedly removed the bottle from her hand and emptied its content. He led her back to the bed and asked her to continue with the conversation.
“So, since we have the alcohol out of the way which we would not be having any bottle of it’s kind around you, tell me your exemptions for the party” Baron sustained himself with the table next to him, he sat with his hands partially rested on the side of the table.
“Since there is no alcohol for me then there should be no alcohol for the party.” Avyanna grumbled.
“No that’s not possible my love.” Baron laughed out so loud that he lost his grip on the side of the table he held firmly.
“And why is that Mr. Barometric”.
“After nineteen years you still remember this joke” Baron smiled.
“Of course, why not, I gave you the name remember?”.
“Yes, I remember my love” Baron laughed.
“Why are you laughing, you have not answered my question yet”.
“Well I would give you my answer, but the problem is you have the answer already “. Baron smiled.
“Leave me alone”
“And why would I do that my pumpkin”
“Because you have refused me to have a taste of my favorite wine”
“I am sorry my queen your favorite wine is not the best for you right now “
“So, what is the best for me my doctor”
“Finally, she asks me the right question, well in no time that question will be answered in a practical state”
“What do you mean by practical state Mr. Barometric “
“Give it time my love you would get that answer, you know some questions are best answered when it is best to be answered.” Baron laughed.
“How is that supposed to make sense to me my love how” Avyanna sat down as she made funny faces with the hope that she would get Baron to feel pity for her.
“Baby Avyanna I would appreciate you to give me the go ahead on what to do and what not to do, So we can start working on the party immediately”.
“I would ignore this matter and would respond to it immediately after my directives, so first Nancy and her people would be arriving in a day or two. Then like you said, Rania and Nathan with the rest of the people you mentioned would present letters to the head of the kingdoms. With that being said what did you say about my alcohol in a practical state “. Avyanna continued but she was interrupted by the knock on the door, the couples paused and summoned the person in.
“The sun is already dancing in it’s full glory but my parents have decided that they do not want to be a part of the glitter it is sharing”. Bavanda walked in as she handed Avyanna a cup
“Your mother finds comfort in the bed”. Baron said as he smiled and hugged his daughter.
“My father should be capable of telling his wife what is good for her health and condition”.
“The moon queen would vindicate me from this accusation for it was the same advice I gave to her concerning her intake of alcohol, I told her it was not a good decision for her health”. Baron answered Bavanda.
“Mother you promised”. Avyanna looked frozen as though she did not understand the conversation the father and child had.
“I was not craving and I definitely was joking about it.” Avyanna held the cup a bit tighter with a smile on her face.
“Well empty the content of that cup into your stomach, give Alexander something healthy ma’am “.
“What is this and why is it so green?”. Avyanna said with the gross look on her face, she had no intent of consuming what Bavanda brought.
“That is the practical state.” Baron exclaimed.
“Well I do not want it.” Avyanna responded.
“Well I do not think you have options mother so please drink up.” Bavanda said with a gentle smile on her face.
