CHAPTER 76

CHAPTER SEVENTY- SIX
Avyanna and her people had lived in harmony with the Lycans, and that was not something their history proved to them could happen. Their historical society had images and quotes about how unhealthy and impossible it was for a Werewolf to live in the same community as a Lycan, but a dozen days and some had passed of them staying together and no harm had befallen anyone, neither had any creature died.
The two creatures taught one another the beautiful things they had in their culture. The women of the Lycan territory showed the women of Wales, the beautiful ways they made their craft, they made it easy for them to understand. It was harmony and peace for the people, to an extent the Lycans actually enjoyed having a different craft and culture in their land.
“I wonder why our predecessors made it seem impossible for our people to seem like a great misfit,” Jonathan spoke with the same guard that had welcomed them when he first arrived at the gate, the one who made it seem like they hated each other. A man named Reggie.
In the days Jonathan had spent in the Lycan territory, Reggie turned out to have almost the same likes and dislikes as he did. They both found interesting and unconventional topics to discuss, and the discrimination against each other in the past between the Lycans and the Wolves of Wales was merely a topic to explore. The creatures before them had written it in history that a Lycan creature and a werewolf creature could never have the same likes, not to include dislikes.
“I feel they have something they don’t want us to know, or some sort of curse is involved, I feel there has to be something,” Reggie replied sarcastically.
“I do not think they have anything to hide if I may say,” Jonathan responded to his newly made friend. He reflected on how he just called the guy his friend, someone he could have sworn he hated some few days before.
“What do you think, what have you in mind?” Reggie asked, he found Jonathan to be a creature that waxed in wisdom, for that was also an easy characteristic found in him.
“Think of it, if they had something to hide or something to protect us from, do you not think that we would have known?“ Jonathan asked.
“How do you mean?” Reggie asked.
“Okay. Us wolves have lived with the Lycans for days now." Jonathan said.
"Correct." Reggie urged.
"You can not tell me you are ignorant of their say about a Lycan and a Werewolf bonding together,” Jonathan said with a chuckle. “Yes, history said it would not be possible, for it incurred a terrible fate for both of the creatures,” Reggie said as he smiled, he could sense the point the Werewolf made.
"Impossible is just the mind playing tricks on you, sometimes, it could also be your ancestors." They chuckled loudly. Even the reserved Jonathan found himself free, happy, and expressive around Reggie. And, Reggie, an uptight guard, was also relieved and happy to be discussing with Jonathan.
“So what do you think was the aim of such historical taboo? why was it made? Do you think the history is wrong or all based on a lie that we cannot fathom?” Reggie required an answer from Jonathan
“Well if you ask me, I would not know whom to request the answer from, because it is definitely not written in any of our history books. But if you seek my undiluted opinion..." Jonathan began.
"Please go on." Reggie was invested in Jonathan's opinion.
"I am of the motion that it must have been two malicious leaders, who must have hated each other a whole lot, to formulate what did not happen, to keep the Lycans away from the Wolves,"
"That makes a lot of sense. History can be a bitch." Reggie chortled.
"And no Lycan or Wolf sought to see if the history was true to its word. But of course, except our generation, we would rewrite this history.” Jonathan narrated.
Reggie enjoyed the conversation. They segued from a conversation about history to culture, to women, to men, to Baron, to Avyanna, to Vanessa, to Raina, to deep thoughts that paraded their minds. They did not dwell more than ten minutes on a particular topic before they deviated to another.
They talked until Reggie exchanged positions with the next guard on duty. Then Reggie went on with Jonathan to get food that they would eat. He told Jonathan how he became a part of the Lycan territory. He told Jonathan about his life and love affairs, and he told Jonathan how he got into the system of law and guard-ship in the Lycan territory, as well as how he would not want to go against their belief.
The two quirky creatures bonding together were just one of many other wolves and Lycans bonding together. The atmosphere of friendship and love in the Lycan territory gave a sense of hope, peace, and harmony that was once lacking in the Lycan territory and the kingdom of Wales.
It was bliss.

Avyanna lay peacefully on Baron's bed with the window open to allow the radiant rays of the warm morning sun gracefully make her skin glow. She looked very harmless that morning.
Baron was there beside her stroking her hair gently. He smiled and planted a kiss on her forehead. Avyanna could not believe that she would one day wake up and not bother about anything or anyone. She wanted her life to remain as it was. She wanted her happiness to remain as it was.
Baron had shown her to the depths of the Lycan territory until she was known by all the Lycans that resided within, and all who dwelled in the territory. Baron showed her the love she had wanted. He listened to her and he made her feel loved. He cared for her and made her feel as though she was the only person he ever loved.
Avyanna was happy and for the first time in a long time, she was not depressed.
“Good morning my precious Luna, how are you feeling today?” Baron asked as he kissed Avyanna on her forehead. She stretched lightly and tossed and turned.
“Good morning, your highness, I wake up and find you hovering over me. Am I safe?” Avyanna said as she held his hands firmly to her breast. She moaned lightly and chuckled.
“Sorry my love, I did not want to disturb you. I was called early to attend to a matter, but I fixed it immediately and headed back to be with you. I hoped you would still be asleep by the time I returned, so I would hit on you. That was the way I intended to wake you up.“ Baron smiled, as he softly rubbed on Avyanna's nipples.
“Okay, since you are here now, you could still hit on me if you choose.” Avyanna laughed, she knew that was not something to ask Baron. The Lycan king could never turn down such an offer. In no time, Avyanna moaned as Baron held her ass and continued to stroke her. She held his waist and moaned.
Baron carried Avyanna off the bed. And took her to the wall, he placed her breast against the wall as he began to stroke in and out of her.
Avyanna then gave Baron a blowjob before he carried her and they found themselves in the bathroom, they fucked each other for about twenty minutes more before they had their bath and set out to get a drink from the wine store.
Vanessa followed Avyanna wherever Avyanna went with Baron. She took countless amount of pictures of them, and she followed them to where they got the wine, although they could not see her, because she maintained a reasonable level of distance. Vanessa was grieved to see how Avyanna and Baron laughed and played in the wine store.
“See how free she is after the death of Ericson, she did not waste time to entrap another creature. I would do anything to see that smile leave the face of the ungrateful bitch.” Vanessa spoke to herself in scorn. She could not wait to return to Nancy, the only person that she trusted. She could not wait to tell her what she had against Avyanna. She could not wait to give Nancy the information and the pictures she had of Avyanna and her new love, Baron.
Avyanna and Baron stood opposite a big table of wine as Baron joked about being the manufacturer.
"I have skills, which enable winemakers to make sure of exotic production." Baron smiled. Avyanna laughed at every joke Baron made.
After the debate about which wine to purchase, they went to a beautiful restaurant. Avyanna had wanted to visit the restaurant, and maybe it was because of the interiors. Baron pointed to another restaurant around the vicinity, but she was adamant about the one she had chosen.
Baron held the hands of Avyanna, as he led her into the restaurant, and of course, Vanessa followed them too. She took pictures of Baron holding the hands of Avyanna, Avyanna kissing the Lycan king, and Baron chivalrously opening the door to the restaurant for Avyanna.
Vanessa was so furious to see Avyanna happy. For some reason, she felt Avyanna did not deserve it.
