Chapter 112 - The Present

As Nix slowly removes her hand from Shakti’s head, as she takes a stumbling step back, she looks at Shakti with disgust.
“So, that was interesting” Bride calls as she lounges in the dirt on the floor.
“I didn’t know that you could project like that” London says as she looks at Hekate.
“Not all can but it appears that she can” Hekate murmurs looking at Shakti and then at Nix.

“So, what was your plan, to make me marry you and convince me that everything was rainbows and sunshine and then what kill my friends one by one so no one would know? I mean overall that wasn’t a bad plan but the problem was that as soon as Helios was killed you forgot that we walk the deceased to the neither and that if any spell was cast it was broken on death. We knew about Phoebe, that is why we ended her. I also knew about you, at first, I thought that it was just a misunderstanding and then as the time went by things started to change and the power you once had was wearing thin. But when you came back, I fell under the power again, but when London died, I knew that everything was fake so we set up a way to make you pay for everything that you had done but I just never understood why?” Archon says as he looks at Shakti with disgust.

“Everyone hated me, my mother my father no one liked that I could control the Cosmic energy so I became hateful and angry and then when I met Phoebe, she was bitter and angry that she could have the guy that she wanted and so I thought why not help her get what she wants. But I failed that and she punished me. So, I was angry, everyone loved you, everyone loved that stupid woman Aibelle and the stain of a baby. No one loved me” Shakti yells as she looks at Archon with hate.

“Boo-hoo, cry me a river. So not everyone loved you so you became the biggest bitch and made everyone suffer” Tennessee mutters as he walks past Shakti and flicking her in the forehead.
“I mean you are an adult right? What the hell do you think? Or don’t you use your brain?” Oh, mommy and daddy hate me Wah, wah, wah, oh I have no friends, cry me a river. Guess what I am going to let you in on secret that is as old as time. No one has to freaking like you, hell the most people can do is tolerate you in small doses but because you are just toxic, I guess that was too much to ask” Tennessee mutters as he shakes his head.

“I know, I hated her from the moment I met her and that only grew after everything we found out I don’t think that there was one God or goddess that actually liked the crazy bitch. I mean she still has her little group but that is only because she had been poisoning them for such a long time that they refused to take the anti-potion” Athan says conversationally
“I can completely see that” Tito says as he agrees with the Athan and Tennessee.
“Jealousy is a curse and a bitch” Bride says.
“The people that you kill all because you found out that Aibelle was Archon’s fated mate and that Athena and Helios were fated mates. I can’t believe that the lies and the pain was just because you were jealous and crying like a spoilt child.” Hekate growls as she walks closer to Shakti.

“I hate you all, I want you all to suffer. I was the strongest but instead of building me up everyone tore me down, don’t do this, don’t do that. You can’t play with them you could hurt them. You can’t have that. It wasn’t fair. Then when the elders came with the Phoenix and they were choosing who was going to ascend I thought this was my chance but my mother stood in front of the Phoenix and told them that I was dangerous and that I wouldn’t listen. That I was being cruel and that I didn’t deserve to be allowed to move to the heavenly realm. My father asked for my powers to be bound. The Phoenix stood there and looked at me and nodded her head. That sealed her fate and my fathers. I don’t regret protecting myself but I do regret not killing you all sooner” Shakti growls out.

“I Archon the king of the heavenly realm, hereby sentence you to the human realm as a mortal. You will remain there until your death you will experience the pain and suffering that you have cause in your dreams every time you close your eyes. You will be given no second chance and you will never have the opportunity to be reborn again.” Archon says with authority.
“And as for your witch friend you are going to be joining them as a mortal” Hekate says as he walks over to the Black witch.
The black witch smiles as she looks at Hekate. “Really?” The black witch asks.
“Yes, but where you are going there isn’t going to a vacation” Hekate says as she smiles back. At Hekate’s smile the Black witch shrinks back slightly.

“London!” Hekate calls as she starts casting a circle.
“NOW? No, we can’t go now” The black witch screams.
“No time like the present” Hekate says with a smirk.
“No I am not finished” The black witch yells.
“You were finished the moment you joined with this bitch” Athan says as he glares at Shakti.
As Hekate and London continue with the casting of there spell to remove the black witches’ powers, Nix is staring at Shakti.
“What, what do you want?” Shakti screams
“I want your pain” Nix replies sweetly. Shakti screams as Nix thrusts out her hand and joins it with Shakti’s head.
“Nix no” Archon yells just as Tennessee leaps forward and grabs onto Nix.
Tennessee screams and shrieks as the tumble and hurl through the dark. Their bodies hit the ground with a loud thud.
“ARGH! Shit that hurt” Tennessee says as he rolls over and gasps out a breath.
“What are you doing here demon” Nix growls as she rolls over and looks at him.
“You weren’t going to make her suffer alone.” Tennessee says with a wriggle of his eyebrows.
“You are not right” Nix mutters as she climbs to her feet.
“Where are we?” Tennessee asks as he too climbs to his feet.
“Shakti’s mind, She should be around here somewhere” Nix says as she moves through the dark.
“Why is it always dark? I mean this absolutely sucks and poor Hen hates the dark” Tennessee mutters as they walk.
“Do you know why she hates the dark?” Nix asks as they continue to walk.
“No, we have all asked her but she never answered” Tennessee says turning to look in the direction of Nix’s voice.
“Because after you mother was murdered, Hennessy was trapped under the ground in that safe room and there was no light because the couch was on top. For three days she was stuck in there worried that the big red wolf would come back and kill her. Or the King and Queen would come and finish the job. She was starving, scared and soiled herself because she didn’t want to risk getting out and getting hurt.” Nix says matter of factly.

“Oh” Tennessee mutters as he continues to walk forward.

“Hello, Hello?” Shakti calls up ahead.
Nix increases her speed and when she reaches Shakti the light suddenly flips on and Tennessee ducks his head swearing at how bright it is.
“Ever heard of a dimmer switch, Bitch!” Tennessee growls as he continues to hide his eyes.
“Those rhymes” Nix says as she looks at Tennessee.
“What?” Tennessee asks
“Switch and bitch” Nix replies while looking at Shakti
“What are you doing here, I thought you already mine fucked me” Shakti says with false bravery.
“Mm, but what fun is there thinking that you escape a little extra mind fuckery” Tennessee says as he claps his hands while bouncing on his feet. As Shakti turns to run Tennessee and Nix give chase.
“You know, I hate running the only thing that would make this better would be if we have electric scooters with zapping bats.
Instantly as the words leave his mouth, Tennessee and Nix find themselves on electric scooter with zapping bats. As Tennessee laughs evilly shouting “Run, bitch run”
