Chapter 13 - The Phoenix

“Someone is approaching, they can’t come here, here is my home. Someone is approaching. Coming to my home. My home, not theirs. Not theirs mine. My home, someone coming.” The Phoenix mutters.
As the footsteps come closer to the Phoenix’s home the phoenix turns and releases a fireball in the direction of the footsteps.
A light chuckle sounds before a gruff voice mutters something.
“What the hell do you want?” The Phoenix calls as continues to pace back and forth.
“We just wanted a quick word with you. As it seems like you might have some information that we are looking for. We and by that, I mean the supers here as well as the god and goddess back in the heavenly realm are trying to help the young girl named seven. Could you answer some of my questions?” Tish calls.
“Why are you releasing supers?” The Phoenix calls back
“They don’t belong here. There are a lot of supers within this little girl and while the ones that I have with me have agreed to stay and protect her I am asking should you answer my questions I will offer you a life strand and release you from here and you will be put into another other” Tish calls again.
“What gives you this right. While I can tell that you have released the ones that have been causing trouble though not all of them, I can also tell you that you can’t release me. So I will be staying here” The Phoenix mutters back.

“Why can’t I release you? I mean I released all the others and yes there is one that I will be tracking down after this conversation. But I am running out of time. The longer that I stay here the longer I could also be stuck in here. I have a daughter at home that needs me and there are gods and goddesses relying on me to give them answers.” Tish mutters.
“I will give you what I know, you will not be stuck here. But you will suffer the longer you stay. What you don’t realise Tish is that for every second that you are here an hour is passing in your realm which means that you had a little girl at home you currently have a teenager about to be an adult at home. London is a good kid she has worked hard and has formed an amazing friendship with the other super children. But she misses her mom, and while you have released the bad supers the little girl that you are trying to help is now a teenager” The Phoenix growls back.

Tish stumbles at hearing what the Phoenix says and looks towards a sad looking wolf and Shadow. The witch bows her head, and the vampire turns her back on her. Tish knows that they knew that they knew for every second that she was here that she was missing out on something that she should have been apart of. Watching London grow from being a child to an adult is something that Tish had been looking forward to being apart of but now she has missed it and when she goes back what is she going back to.

“We couldn’t say anything. We wanted to let you know but we were wanting to get this sorted for Seven, so we decided not to say anything” The Wolf growls.
“Everything has an equal reaction” The witch whispers.
“So then you know how important this is for me. Please answer my questions so that I can help you get rid of Scavenger and then get back to my daughter.”

“The Queen is part of everything but so is the Phoenix elder. But you already know this from the supers that you have spoken to. But what you don’t know is that Phoebe is not dead. She is very much alive, and the oracles are helping her. They thought by sending Nix back and restarting everything they would be able to get away with what they were trying to do which is by the way the eradication of Archon, Aibelle and the rest of the heavenly realm. But because they forgot that while a rest can happen what they didn’t account for was that Shakti had already changed the course of action she was never meant to be born. So basically, by resetting everything did nothing because they need Shakti to upset the cosmic world but by doing so, they are sealing their fate each and every time. Nix is going to miss her fate. She is going to miss her happily every after and she is going to live a tortured and painful life. While you have been away Athena has passed away and only a few years ago or in this case a few seconds ago Helios has died as well. Athan still cares for Nix and Hennessy, and they are happy, but the fates are going to Nix as we speak, they are about to ask her to reset again. Each reset is a pain that Nix remembers and will always remember. They are torturing her in their own way, and they want that. Because Nix is the next Queen of heavenly realm as well as the super realm. But imagine a mentally damaged Queen.” The Phoenix says sadly.

“So, they are playing with the lives of everyone, are we just puppets for their amusement” Shadow growls.
“What do you expect, they hate us they have always hated us” The Witch mutters
“What did we do?” The Wolf asks
“We put a god and goddess in and made the oracles advisers only and half the time Archon and Aibelle use the council of the gods and goddesses as well as the supers’ opinions so yeah, they can’t get what they want which is what all people with a little power want. They want more because their greed is out of control.” The Phoenix replies

“Surely there is a way that we can stop them. They can’t do this” The Vampire growls.
“Yes there are a few ways, some of them have already tried”
“So what can we do”
“Try a radical solution”
“Something that is going to make shock rain through the realms”
“We still have the human issue to deal with, If we reset again would that human issue disappear?” Tish asks
“That human issue has occurred three times out of the five that Nix has reset so basically there is a high chance that it won’t disappear. How are you going to remember this. None of you do you have basic memories of the issues or what could have been through memories. But none of you remember” The Phoenix mutters.
“Is there a way to make us remember?” The Wolf growls
“None that we have found as of yet” The Phoenix responds.
“Who are you?” Tish asks as she moves closer to the Phoenix.
The Phoenix smirks as it continues to look that the group of supers in front of her. She knew the question would be asked eventually but she is was surprised that they asked so quickly this time.

“Who do you think I am?” The Phoenix asks with a smirk
“You don’t feel like you are completely good, but you don’t feel like you are completely bad either” Tish responds.
“You’re not wrong, well in this world I am not completely one or the other. So, I guess since you are half right, I will give you a hint” The Phoenix replies laughingly.
“Ok, what is the hint” The Wolf growls
“Family” The Phoenix responds
“We are getting off track we need to know how to stop them” The Shadow mutters
“Yes! How can we stop them?”
“Kill Nix” the Phoenix replies
“Phoebe”
