Chapter 68
“Hey, Tennessee, long time no see” Dom laughs awkwardly as he takes a step away from Tennessee.
“Come here woofy. Come on boy, come on. You and I need a little chat” Tennessee growls out as he continues to storm towards Dom.
“Yeah, about that I have to…” Dom says before turning and racing away from Tennessee.
“HE’S GOING TO KILL ME” Dom shouts as he races for his life.
“Yeah dog boy I am going to kill you” Tennessee growls as he gives chase. Tennessee races after Dom yelling threats about if he catches him Tennessee is going to kill him by pulling every bone from his body while he still lives.
“They do know that they are siblings now, right?” Athan says out loud.
“Mm, but I think that Tennessee is a little unhinged” Erebus growls back.
“A little that dude wasn’t born with a full brain in his head” Aibelle mutters
“All demons are a little different” Daemon responds.
“Mm, different is that what you are going with?” Landon asks
“Yep” Daemon responds, while looking at the two men chase each other
“Totally” Bride laughs while watching the show.
“Weird as fuck” Lycus responds, while watching the show.
“Demons rule” Daemon says laughingly.
Don’t you mean that Demon’s rule and dog’s drool?” Tennessee yells back
“Listen here you little shit” Lycus yells as he races after Tennessee and Dom.
“Hen, help me the dog is going to kill me” Tennessee yells as Lycus chases after him.
“Dig you own grave again Tennessee” Nix yells back at the men chasing each other.
“No, I have a bone to pick with Dom” Tennessee yells back.
“Tito, take care of the situation” Nix says to Tito.
“Why, me” Tito whines
“Because you are the oldest of us” Nix responds.
“London you and I need to talk” Nix turns and looks at London with a raised eyebrow.
Nix moves away from the ruckus that is happening out in the clearing and waits for London.
Watching as London slowly walks towards her Nic can’t help but tap her foot in impatience.
“What… I am coming” London says as she continues to walk slowly towards Nix.
Nix raises her eyebrow and with a snap of her fingers London is standing in front of Nix.
“Firstly are you feeling, ok? I haven’t used that power in a while and wasn’t sure that it would work” Nix says looking London up and down.
“Yeah, I feel ok” London replies meekly.
“Your super is in the process of returning to you. Your super and Hekate agreed that if your super wished to return to you then she could. I also want to let you know that you are part Phoenix, Essy and I agreed that we would transfer part of us to you so that you could survive. So, you will be a little harder to kill now. In regards to Dom and what you thought you saw, it could have been true, but you were always meant to find your mate and live a long life. So please for us do so.” Nix says as she continues to look London up and down.
“Life isn’t easy Essy you and Nix know that better than anyone. It isn’t easy and it isn’t something that you can breeze through. You are partly lucky that you had a us when you were growing up. I am sorry that you have had to experience what you have I hope that you find your happy Nix” London murmurs
“You are right London, life isn’t easy but that what build character and when you have enough character say fuck and go do what you want.” Nix responds.
“What are we going to do with the Queen?” London asks as she continues to watch the God, her brother and her mate chase each other around
“I am going to do the scribing and get the answers that she doesn’t want to answer” Nix says with a shrug of her shoulders.
“That is dangerous” London snaps.
“What isn’t in this realm” Nix responds sassily.
“Nix..” London starts before Caleb walks up
“What is dangerous?” Caleb asks.
“This realm” London and Nix respond together.
“Cute, its like there is surround sound. Now lets try this again and tell me what is dangerous” Caleb growls as he takes a step closer to Nix but London puts herself in-between them “Nothing so piss off” London snaps at Caleb.
“Bullshit, I can tell when someone is lying” Caleb yells.
“Dom, HELP!” London screams.
In the distance Dom stops dead still which makes Tennessee collides into the back of Dom and Lycus into the back of Tennessee as one everyone turns and looks in Nix and London’s direction.
“GET. AWAY. FROM. MY. MATE” Dom shouts as he pulls himself to hist feet and races towards London.
“GET AWAY FROM MY SISTERS” Tennessee screams as he races after Dom.
“Princess” The Gods and Goddess yell before all racing towards the three.
As everyone races towards Caleb, London and Nix a loud popping and screeching noise makes everyone drop to their knees covering their ears.
“LONDON!” Dom shouts as he struggles to stand to his feet.
“LOOK OUT!” Tito screams as he too struggles to get to his feet.
“HEN-ESSY” Tennessee yells as he disappears from the clearing.
“CA..” Athan shouts before London, Caleb and Hennessy disappear from the clearing altogether. As they disappear the noise stops completely. As everyone struggle to stand.
“Where is Hennessy?” Tito asks
“London” Dom calls
“They are gone” Athan growls, manifesting his armour.
“Find them” Archon yells. Issuing other orders to his gods and goddesses.
The running of footsteps makes everyone turn again preparing for battle.
“The Queen is gone” One of Tennessee’s demons gasp out.
“Gone?” Tito questions, swiftly moving towards the Demon.
“What” Jameson calls “How, can she just disappear?” Jameson asks the group at large.
“Check again” Daemon growls out, while disappearing from the crowd to join in the search.
“That Bitch” Tennessee shouts
