Chapter 16

“Where is Seven? Where did she go?” Athan asks as he races to join London and a now lifeless Tish.
“London, honey, where did Seven go?” Athan asks again.
“I…I don’t know where she went” London mutters through her tears.
“We need to leave here, let's go” Athan says as he bends to take Tish from London’s arms.
London climbs to her feet and walks shakingly beside Athan as they make their way from the temple.

As they reach outside, everything that was once colourful is now covered in red and body parts.
“If Seven wasn’t on our side I might be a little scared to go anywhere near her” Athan mumbles.
Athan and London continue on to the main temple. As they get closer to the door, several beings charge from hiding. Athan quickly passes Tish off to London and conjures his armour. As the armour snaps into place, Seven appears out of nowhere wearing entrails around her head and neck like a trophy and quickly removes the beings’ heads from their bodies as well as their hearts.
“Hey, creepy girl. Remember we are friends. No kill us” Athan says as he points back and forth to London and himself.
“No kill you two” Seven says before disappearing again.
Athan shakes his head and moves back towards London and Tish. Gathering Tish again, he and London make their way into the temple.
The sounds of fighting are loud within the walls of the temple. London uses her magic to zap a couple of beings before moving to take her mother and move her body away from any further danger.
“Lycus, on the left” Athan calls. “No, not that left you dipshit”
“Erebus, duck” Athan continues to call out orders as the rest of the gods and goddesses’ fight.
“Seven not that one, that one is a friend also,” Athan yells out as Seven is seconds away from ripping Daimon’s head off.
“Friend”, Seven responds and puts a piece of entrails over Daimon’s neck. Daimon gags as the entrails wrap around his neck and at the small girl that just placed it on him.
“Leave here, or I kill” Seven mumbles before disappearing again.
“Yes, kill that one” Athan yells.
“Creepy kid in the corner on the right” Lycus calls out
“Lycus, the wolfman is my friend”, Athan yells to Seven.

As Athan continues to point out the friends and foes in the temple, Seven races around decorating the friends with entrails and ripping the remainder of the foes apart. Soon the temple room looks like the seen from Carrie with blood everywhere. As the fighting dies down to nothing at all the friends are left standing around breathing heavily after their fight.
“London are you ok” Aibelle asks as she makes her way towards her.
“Momma” London mutters before falling to the flooring and crying hysterically.
Tito, Tennessee, Jameson, Landon, Dom and Nix all rush to a crying London, they all circle her as the gods and goddesses watch on.
“What happened to Tish?” Archon asks as he pulls Aibelle into his arms.
“She was killed trying to stop one of those beings from getting London and Seven” Athan replies sadly.
“Did Tish give us the answers that we need?” Erebus mutters as he watches the children.
“Yes, but I am not sure how to ask” Athan says as he walks over to the kids all huddled together.
“London, we need to know what Tish found” Athan says quietly.
“Ok” London replies between sobs.
Nix stands and walks towards Tish. As she gets closer Seven moves closer to her.
“Momma, no touch” Seven mumbles at Nix.
“Shut up, we need answers and I am not going to hurt her.” Nix snaps.

Reaching forward Nix takes Tish’s hand and closes her eyes. As Nix begins to chant Tish twitches a couple of times before becoming still again.

“On my child, do not cry. As I have missed so many of your years, I am glad to say that I was there whilst it mattered. Also watching you all together makes my heart happy to know that you have people that care about you and will protect you.
I know that I need to be quick and I need to do this before the neither reaches for me so I will start with a thank you to you all for caring for my daughter.

You need to be careful with the oracles they are the ones that are most likely behind this attack and further attacks to come. They are colluding with the Queen of Super’s they are after power. They want to rule and no longer accept the small amount that is offered to them. From what I understand The Queen and the oracles are offering others the chance for better super’s ones of their choosing. However, in nearly all the cases that I have come across they are killing the others and ripping the supers from their bodies to transport them to the human realm. This is then causing further problems as they aren’t worried about what super they are getting just as long as it is a super.
Some of the supers that were joined to Seven said that their others wanted better so they gratefully offered up the exchange but their were others that were hijacked before joining with their others and then they were taken to the human realm and joined to Seven.
We also have the problem of the oracles lying to Nix. There is no rest sweetheart. Your parents are gone and will remain that way until they are born again. No amount of pain will bring them back and that isn’t what you are here for. Every time you reset things something changes but what doesn’t change is the death of your parents. I am deeply sorry to be the one to say this.
I have managed to release five supers from Seven, all but one agreed. Bile was killed and sent to the neither. The others are waiting for their new other’s and I have asked that since they volunteered that they would be given a chance to do the right thing. Please honour my word I have given them all a life strand so that you will know what who they are.

Seven, now has the following supers and she will need help, they all will need help in training and being together.
There are the following supers still within Seven. A wolf, witch, shadow, demon, vampire and a scavenger. I have tried to release the scavenger but it seems that he has become a little power hungry. The Scavenger killed the Phoenix and took her powers. The Phoenix was Phoebe so I would say that you have people here that you need to look into.

I must be going. Please take care of Seven it is not her fault that she was tortured. She has endured everything and she is a little unstable but please look after her.
As for you sweet London, I bless you and hope that your life continues to be that of all your hopes and dreams.” Tish says before fading into the dark.

“Explain Nix” Archon barks as he looks at Nix furiously.
