Chapter 59
Prepare for War! Where there is war there is loss casualties know, know bounds.
“Tennessee, prepare your men” Tito barks as he tilts his head and communicates to his pack that a war is approaching.
“London protection spells NOW!” Tito continues to bark out commands as he readies everyone around them.
“They are up, but we are being attacked. There are three warlocks that are trying to get a cloaking spell up and running, our wards are working at the moment, but I don’t know how long they will last if they decide to set up in another area. The spells are stronger closer to this cottage due to Essy being here. If they move and find this area stronger, they are going to know that something here is worth protecting from them.” London says as she continues casting spells.
“Let me help you child, I can help you make this whole area is as strong as every other, this will by us sometime.” Hekate says as she joins London’s circle and joins the casting.
“Jameson we can use our strength as well” Aibelle says as she walks towards Jameson.
“I can help as well” Bride mutters as she joins their group.
“My boys are ready” Tennessee says to the room at large.
“I have a few of my boys scouting the area they are going to scare them a little” Caleb says before shimmering and disappearing.
“What? Why does he get to play, and I don’t this isn’t fair” Tennessee pouts whilst stomping his foot.
“Relax Tennessee you can go play soon Caleb is going to get the party started you can be the main event” Tito says distractedly.
“Yeah, you hear that shadow boy, you are the appetizer I am the main event” Tennessee yells out. Tennessee stumbles forward before ending up kissing the floor.
“Hey, what the hell shadow boy” Tennessee yells while swinging his arms this way and that.
Hearing a deep husky laugh before the front door opens and closes makes the rest of the room laugh out loud whilst Tennessee growls and grumbles as he climbs to his feet.
“Nix is there anything that we can do?” I ask as I watch everyone else prepare for war.
“You my little one will be absolutely fine as being a Phoenix we are very good at fighting and on the plus side I don’t think that you are going to die for good anytime soon. We have plenty more feathers, but we need to make sure that everything from here on out is got to count.” Nix says while moving fully to the front of my mind.
“What about my family” I ask while looking around the room.
“I would say that the gods and goddesses are looking on your family favourably” Nix says with a smile.
“What happens? How is this going to work?” I ask
“We will be one, I will be sitting in the front of your mind and when you speak, we will speak as one, the same for thinking if you have a thought then it will be our thought. We will fight hard and we will fight long and hard we will protect who we can where we can, but there is a saying that you can not have a war without causalities and unfortunately we can’t protect everyone. Understand and know that we will do all that is in our power but there will be some casualties.” Nix murmurs
“Ok let’s do this” I reply.
I feel intense magic course through my body, as I stand there I feels like the air is electrified I can feel the electric current race up my arms and through my hair.
“Psst, what is happening to little Hen” Tennessee mumbles
“I don’t know but look at her hair” Dom mumbles back.
“Is her hair on fire?” Tito asks
“She has transitioned, that means that we are seeing Nix and Hennessy as one.” Athena says in an awe toned voice.
“But she is a new super she shouldn’t have that power yet” Jameson snaps as he looks at Hennessy
“Nix and Hennessy were meant to be which means that she isn’t coming into this learning everything from the beginning, Nix and Hennessy have agreed and have fully joined” Athena
“Righto, lets light this bitch up” Tennessee mutters as he claps his hands.
“Tito, they are coming from the east and the south” Landon says
“Right, as we all know the people that are here is none other than the Queen and her henchmen, they are here for the King which they are more than welcome to take but the one person they cannot take is our little sister Hennessy. She is a Phoenix her rightful place in this realm is where the Queen is standing now. So, this is what is going to happen. You are going to kiss your loved ones and say goodbye in case you don’t make it back. This is the start of change that our realm has wanted and needed for centuries so protect the new Queen and rightful ruler or don’t bother coming back” Dom growls to the room.
“Demons you heard what is at stake here, do your jobs or I will kill you myself. Oh, and anyone that can make the Queen cry will be given one hundred bonus points. If she cries and begs you win a whole night of drinking on me. So, any questions” Tennessee barks
“Coven, use everything that you have to keep the boundaries protected and the people protected. If these warlocks get their spell that is the end of us.” London calls.
“Fae, raise hell and protect Hennessy” Jameson calls to his people.
“Good luck and godspeed” The gods and goddesses say as they transform into their battle attire.
“Alight everyone let’s go to war, kill all the Queens people and protect my sister Hennessy at all costs do you understand?” Tito calls light yips and barks answer their alphas command.
