Chapter 94
“Ok everyone, grab a super and let’s get the show on the road” Hekate says as she and Lycus grab Shakti by an arm each.
“Will she know where we are going?” Tito asks as he comes to stand behind Shakti.
“No, the binding cuffs are in place as Hekate has also temporarily blinded her, so she has no idea where we are going” Lycus mutters as the Shakti tries to yank her arm out of Hekate and Lycus’s grip.
“Don’t” Tito growls. As he watches her struggle to claim her freedom.
“Ding, ding we have a present also” Daimon calls as he and Archon Walk towards the group dragging the Queen cuff and bound.
“Nice guys, I see that you have done well. Not like Athan over here” Tennessee mutters as he points to Athan that stood off to the side holding his stomach and glaring at the group.
“What?” Tennessee says while looking around at the group.
“Ok, idiots aside let’s get a super and let’s get going” Lycus snaps as he turns and places a hand onto Tito shoulder.
London, Landon, Jameson and Dom pair up with Bride. Caleb still holding Hennessy and Nix moves towards Erebus. Athan roughly grabs Tennessee while the rest of the god and goddesses make sure that they surround the prisoners. Archon and Daimon grab the Queen and then in a blink of an eye they are gone from the forest.
As they travel through the realm, colours, sights and sounds become distorted. Everything blurs and shimmers as they travel. Bits and pieces of conversation filter through while others sound like white noise. When they finally reach the heavenly realm, they appear deep within a cave where it is neither light nor dark. Sound is disrupted so it makes it sound like anyone that speaks is speaking into a fan.
Chaining the Queen and Shakti up with magically designed drainage chains. They place them against a wall each and place a magically designed soundproof wall between them so that they can’t hear what the other is saying but they can see what the other is experiencing.
“I hope that you enjoy your stay here your majesty, and if you don’t well I don’t care” Tennessee says as he tightens the drainage chains a little more making the Queen squeak.
Turning on his heel, Tennessee saunters into the Shakti’s side and smiles and waves at her as he walks closer.
“So, there is a few things that we want to know. However, you seem like a bitch, so I doubt you are going to open your gaping hole in your face to tell us anything. I also know of a really pissed off Phoenix that just can’t wait to stick her hands into your brain and make sure that you sing like a fucking canary. So just wait your turn ok” Tennessee says happily as he pats her on the shoulder and walks away.
Shakti, goes to open her mouth but no sound comes out making Tennessee laugh.
“Yeah we didn’t want to hear you so we made sure that you can’t actually talk.” Tennessee answers as he gives a slight finger wave and disappears
“So, how are our guests?” Tito asks as he watches Hennessy and Nix rant and rave as she was placed in a cell to calm down.
“Oh, they are super happy to be here” Tennessee says as he takes a seat beside Tito so that he can watch Hennessy and Nix.
“Good” Tito replies.
“Shakti, tried to talk but she couldn’t which pissed her off. Once Nix is good to go, she wants to do the blending which is what was decided on before, when we had the Queen captured.” Tennessee says.
“It’s dangerous” London says as she comes to take a seat beside her brothers.
“Dangerous how?” Jameson asks as he stand in front of them.
“Nix, could get lost within her head. Meaning we may never get her back. Or worst case she dies in there” London says as she looks at her brothers one by one.
“What is the likelihood of that happening?” Jameson asks.
“More than we would like to admit but, Archon could give Nix lessons when she calms down” Hekate says as she joins the group.
“What can’t Archon do it?” Tito asks as the noise coming from the cell where Nix and Hennessy were place become louder and louder.
“Archon isn’t meant to interfere; however, I don’t think that he is going to let Hennessy or Nix Walk alone” Hekate says as she looks over at Hennessy and Nix losing in her cell. Caleb continues to hold her hand which makes Nix angrier. Loud whooshes of flame and ice repeatedly come burst through the cell bars.
Lycus comes burst through the room “I think I have a way to get Hennessy and Nix to communicate with us”
“What?” London asks as she stands and looks at Lycus.
“Hekate, can’t we do a soul spell. So that Nix or better yet her fire can talk to us” Lycus asks as he looks at Hekate.
“Well, we could try” Hekate says “But there are always problems when we do anything related to the soul”
“Like what?” Tito snaps as he comes to standing position.
“Well we could damage her soul for one” Hekate says as she bites her thumb nail.
“Nope absolutely not happening. Nix will calm down and when she does, we will talk to her and not a moment before.” Tennessee says as he moves closer to the cell.
Taking a deep exhale, London moves towards Tennessee as well. Looking at Nix and Hennessy and then at the group London mutters “We can’t experiment on her”
“I…I may be able to help” Comes a small raspy voice. Looking around the room they see nothing.
“Who’s there?” Tito barks as he takes on a defensive position.
“Me” the raspy voice replies.
“Me who?” Tennessee asks as he looks around the room again.
“Me, me” The raspy voice growls out.
“Here dimwit” The raspy voice growls as the light from the fire strengthens.
“Oh, hey there” Tennessee says as he moves to sit beside the fire.
The others move forward as well as the loud banging suddenly stops in the cell behind them.
“Can you help us?” London asks as she stares into the fire.
“Yes”
