We watched for the first thirteen years of Skky living in the pack. Mother came back when Skky was six years old, however, she only stayed for a week before disappearing again. Skky was a mean kid several times as we watched the years go by that Skky would hurt others, mostly the defenceless. At thirteen she killed the Cook but said that Rogues had come through while they were out picking herbs in the forest. Tito investigated but found nothing the tracks were all messed up and it looked like more then one. We watched as she slit the old woman’s throat as the Cook found out the Skky had been sleeping with her son a married man.
The but the wasn’t the only transgression she would steal from other pack members as well as randomly poison people of the pack. There were numerous times that she tried to seduce both the Beta and the Gamma but never achieving the end goal. When she was removed from the pack by the old Alpha, she went to live with the incubus but she was worst there. So many people that she murdered and so many people that she slept with just because she could.
On Skky, twentieth birthday the incubus decided that they couldn’t tolerate her anymore and we watched as she begged and pleaded that she didn’t have anywhere to go. But through this all we watched as our mother helped her at every opportunity. Mother coached her and taught her who to go after and what strings needed to be pulled. She would deliberately disappear just so Tito would look after her as no one else wanted to. We watched when she was sent to London to get a binding done and the pain and suffering that she caused there. After a while London never allowed her to come into the coven but would meet her on the road and perform any spells needed at an old abandon house in the forest.
Tennessee’s level of hell didn’t go without pain and suffering as well. She would mentally torture the prisoners while they waited for their turn, they would bater for their lives and be told that she would save them only to let them out of their cages and give them a head start before calling Tennessee and saying they escaped.
Jameson was the only one that had very little to do with her over the years. He would see her when he visited but never invited her to be with him in his realm.
On Skky’s twenty-first birthday mother called a family meeting and informed everyone that she was indeed pregnant again. However, everyone but Skky was happy it was strange their mother told Skky about how much the others hated that she had gotten pregnant with her and that they took a long time to get use to her but with this new baby Skky watched as they would touch mother’s stomach and whisper to the baby. Skky, tried to kill the baby before she was even born but that didn’t work out so well. On the day of Hennessy’s arrival all the siblings were there and they were all talking about how they couldn’t wait to meet her. None of them paid attention to Skky or the rising fury within.
With the first cry of the new baby everyone but Skky jumped up from their chairs and rushed in to meet her. Tito was waxing on about how amazing she was. Tennessee couldn’t stop talking about her absolutely stunning face. Jameson called her precious and talked to her about how he was going to show her his realm as soon as he was allowed. London placed a protection spell on her and told her that she would love visiting and staying at the coven with her.
We watched as Skky ranted and raged outside and no one bar their mother paid any attention to her. Within the first few hours of Hennessy being born their mother said that she had to go and that she would be back in a few days to get her. Tito, Tennessee, Jameson and London all fought over who was going to get the privilege to look after her. They fought so much that even their mother hesitated to leave.
“Maybe I can wait a little longer” Their mother said looking at all of them like they were completely different people.
“No, its fine you go” The all said at once not even caring.
“Maybe Skky, should look after her” Their mother said watching as Skky smiled slightly.
“NO!” they all shouted and then decided that they would stay at the cabin in neutral territory. The left with Hennessy without even looking back.
“What the hell was that about” their mother said, not expecting an answer.
“Why is she so special. I hate that baby; I want her dead” Skky whines to their mother.
“Hmm agreed. But they love her so much which means we can bargain her so they fall in line” their mother said with a smirk on their face.
“You were so cute” Tennessee said as he continues to watch what was happening.
“One of the best things that came from that trainwreck of a mother” London says with a beautiful smile.
“Little one was our saving grace” Jameson says as he turns and looks at me with sad eyes.
Moving forward I wrap my arms around Jameson and give him a hug.
“I love you Jameson” I whisper to him.
“Hey, you can’t say that” the stranger mutters.
“Shut up” Tennessee growls before pulling me into his arms.
“Love you Tennessee” I say while giving him a squeeze. Before long I am pulled into Tito’s arms
“Love you Hennessy” Tito mutters.
“Love you too” I respond before I am pulled into London’s arm.
“Love you Essy” London mutters holding me tight.
“Love you too London” I respond before the stranger pulls me into his arms.
“Love you little fire ball” The stranger mutters. To which everyone yells and growls
“Hey”
“Watch your mouth”
“Shut up
“Say it again I will kill you”
I giggle as they continue to yell and carry on.
A loud bang pulls us back into Skky’s antics.
We watched as she rushed home once she got word from mother that Jameson was dropping Hennessy off and that she was going to call and tell him that she was held up and that Skky would look after Hennessy until she was there.
We watched as she mixed the poison and told Jameson that everything was ok and mother was coming.
Jameson called mother to which is told her that she needed to be home in five minutes. Hesitating but left with no other choice he left Hennessy with Skky; we watch as Skky holds me down and forces the poison down my throat.
It takes less than the five minutes for the poison to course through my tiny body as I begin to shake London comes flying through the door with Tito on her heels and Tennessee bringing up the rear.
Luckily Nix had already started working on the antidote and trying to save me. But being too late Nix uses one of our feathers. While I don’t catch on fire there my body become extremely hot and my hair lights up but otherwise there is no direct sign of Nix.
“What did you do?” Jameson growls at Skky.
Skky backs away from Jameson fearing for her life. As he advances towards her mother comes through the door.
“What the hell is going on here?” Mother asks
“Skky hurt Hennessy” Jameson growls and moves toward mother and Skky.
“Don’t be ridiculous” Mother yells back while continuing to move Skky further away from the threat.
“I…I didn’t” Skky stutters before bursting into tears.
