Chapter 120

“Where are my people? Where are your god and goddesses?” Archon bellows the whole castle shakes and shudders at the force of Archon’s yell.
“Th…this way” A phoenix mutters as he points down a long hallway.

Archon summons guards and together with him they march down the hall, with Aibelle, London and Tish in the middle of the group.
“Where now?” Archon barks as they come to three doors.
“This one” The Phoenix mutters as he pushes the door open.
As the door opens, it reveals Helios half naked and bleeding from various cuts from his body, the blood drips down and into glass buckets. Archon moves a step forward until a weak cry from the right stops them. There Athena is cuffed and bound to the wall also covered in many cuts and gaping wounds as her blood drips it too drips into the glass beakers and buckets that line the floor.

“STOP!” Nix shouts as she climbs from the vent in the wall.
“Nix” Aibelle shouts as she rushes forward and wraps the small dirty child within her arms. Nix cries silently as she shakes and shudders within Aibelle’s embrace.
Archon comes behind Nix and also cradles her and Aibelle within his arms.
“It’s ok Nix, we are going to get you all out of here” Archon whispers within Nix’s ear.
“Be careful where you step, the wrong step will hurt mommy more” Nix replies through gasping breaths and tears.
“Ok, princess” Archon whispers his reply.

Archon, directs his men to Helios and Athena telling them to be careful and to not cause any more pain. His men nod and move carefully through the room one group reaches Helios and the other reaches Athena. With great care they remove Athena from her prison on the wall and gentle lay her on the ground.
Helios grunts and mumbles but no other sound is heard. Aibelle quickly releases Nix and moves towards Helios and gives him Fae elixir to help with the injuries. Once Helios swallows the elixir Aibelle quickly rushes to Athena to give her the same thing. As Aibelle gives her a drop of the potion Athena makes no movement or sound Aibelle turns with a worried look to look at Archon with a small shake of her head she turns back to the guards and instructs them to take Athena and Helios back to the heavenly realm and get them medical urgently.
“Yes, Aibelle” The guards reply as one.
“Nix, honey we are going to have to go get mommy and daddy some help” Archon says as he gathers Nix’s dirty and frail little body into his arms and stands to his full height.
“Tish? Is there a way for you to help Helios and Athena?” Aibelle asks as they walk through the halls back towards the foyer.
“Yes and no, it depends whether or not their injuries are too far gone” Tish responds sadly.
“Can you and your daughter come with us so that you may try to help them. While our medics are the best of the best all hands are helpful” Archon responds.
Tish nods her head and moves towards the group taking London’s hand.

“Aibelle, Nix lets go” Archon mutters as he grabs Aibelle’s hand and she grabs Tish’s and London’s and together they all teleport to the heavenly realm.
Archon, Aibelle, Tish, London and Nix arrive in the medical building to a hive of activity. As the lead medic notice their arrival, they whisk Nix away and into another bed tending to her minor injuries.

“How, are they” Archon asks the lead medic.
“Helios is stabilizing but I can’t say the same for Athena. It might be that her body has undergone too much stress.” The lead medic responds before rushing off to help further.
“Archon, what are we going to do with the hybrid?” Aibelle asks as they move to the side of the room and watch as everyone is rushing around.
“I don’t know but I am deeply concerned that someone is either taking the supers’ DNA and experimenting or a human has been kidnapped and experimented on either way this isn’t good.” Archon responds just as Daimon, Hekate, Bride, Lycus, Erebus and Athan pop into the room.
“What is going on?”
“Is that Helios?”
“Where is Athena?”
“Where is Nix”
“Who did this”
“What can I do?”
Come the various replies.
“Athan, are you ok?” Archon asks with a raised eyebrow.
“Yeah, nothing some extra blood can’t cure but what the hell is happening?” Athan growls as he spots Nix on the hospital bed beside Helios.
“Athena, Helios and Nix were taken hostage and tortured. Nix managed to hide but there is something wrong with the Phoenix.” Aibelle mutters as she moves towards Nix that is once again crying.
Athan beats Aibelle to Nix’s beside and scoops her up into his arms. “There, there princess I got you” Athan whispers to Nix as crying into Athan’s neck.
“Bad lady hurt mommy and daddy” Nix cries
“I know princess we will make them pay” Athan responds as he continues to rock Nix back and forth.
“What does this mean when the other super children arrive here for fostering? We have another rogue on our hands we need to bring the children now. They are safer here than out in the super realm” Bride mutters as she looks around the room.
“I agree, get the children they can stay in the ward” Archon replies as he continues to watch the chaos around him.
“We need to find that young girl, she is scared and out of control” Athan growls as he finally places a sleeping Nix beside Helios.
“What can you tell me about the girl?” Archon asks
“She is young, no more that ten years of age, she is terrified, I almost convinced her to let me help but something spooked her and then she attacked but she was apologising as she was attacking me. I don’t think that she can control herself” Athan mutters.
“The kids have arrived” Bride announces through the mind link.
“Get them comfortable” Aibelle replies back as they move into towards the hall.
“What else can you tell us about the kid” Archon asks Athan.
“Well, she looks exactly like that” Athan says as he points down the hall towards a small, dirty child covered in blood that has fire glowing around her, fur over her body and fangs dripping with blood.
