Chapter 21

Bride and the others gather Archon, the kids and Hekate, along with every other god or goddess that was hurt and takes them to the caves for protection. After getting what little medical personnel that weren’t killed to help the wounded, they managed to gather around Archon and the kids.
“Did anyone find Nix or Aibelle?” Lycus asks.
“No” Erebus mutters
“Where could they have gone? They were all together. We need to find them now” Daimon growls out loudly.
“Ta…taken” Archon stutters as he comes awake to everyone yelling and shouting.
“Taken? Taken where and by who?” Athan growls.
“Whom” Tito says weakly from his bed.
“Whom, whom the fuck is whom” Athan hisses at Tito.
“You said who and its whom” Tennessee responded with a slight smirk.
“You little…” Athan threatens as he takes an aggressive step towards them both.
“Just saying Athan, geez keep your pants on”, Dom, calls out, as he too, pushed himself into a seated position.

“Whom, took Aibelle and Nix” Athan growls out while glaring at Tennessee, Tito and Dom.
“Who” Dom says and quickly ducks as Athan throws a rock at his head.
“A being, they were both unconscious and not moving. They took them” Archon, muttered sadly.
“The Queen has them. I smelt them” Seven responds as she continues to eat her salted pork skins.
“What!” everyone calls as they stare at Seven.
“Let’s go” Archon says as he slowly pulls his body from the bed along with the kids.
“Archon….” Bride calls but stops when Archon conjures his armour.
“You kids stay with us and try not to get into trouble” Erebus mutters before reaching out and grabbing Tito and Jameson and disappearing. The others disappear one by one and all gather on the hill overlooking the castle.

“I wish we had some music to get this done. Don’t you find that everything is better especially an ass kicking if you have music to go along with it?” Tennessee asks.
“Yes!” Athan responds as he claps his hands.
Seven closes her eyes and suddenly a song starts playing as each of the kids start moving towards the beat. Athan screams.
“I love this song”
“Blood, Sweat and tears from BTS. Let’s do this” Athan calls before disappearing and reappearing in the castle’s front courtyard.
Athan wastes no time ripping the head off the guard on the right before reaching out and ripping the spine from the one on the left.
As Athan continues to dance to the beat of the music that is playing, he looks over and sees that the others are doing exactly the same thing. Before long they have taken care of the guards in the courtyard and the foyer just as the song finishes. Athan goes to open his mouth just before another song starts playing. Athan happily dances and they continue to move forward, taking out any and all guards and castle supers that try to stop them. Hekate binds the ones that are kept alive so that they can’t move, talk or leave and moves on with any other that needs to be questioned later. As the they burst through the large doors leading to the thrown room, the music stops.

“What can I do for you God Archon and fellow gods and goddesses?” The Queen asks as she sits on her thrown looking smug.
“We are here for Nix and Aibelle” Archon says as he raises his swords.
“What makes you think that I have them?” The Queens responds.
“They are here, we know that they are”, Bride calls.
“They are through the door and four doors down on the left” Seven mumbles as she continues to glare at the Queen.
“What?” The Queen calls, shocked, but it doesn’t last long with Tennessee teleports to behind her and holds a knife to her neck.
“Hekate if you would” Tennessee calls as he watches the Queen squirm away from the poisoned blade.
“Absolutely my pleasure” Hekate says as she quickly adds the Queen to her binding spell.
Erebus, Athan and Lycus break off and go searching for Aibelle and Nix. As they move through the doors and check each and every door that they pass they finds several supers chained up and either passed out cold or whimpering and dying as they have lost their supers.
Lycus and Erebus along with Tito help get the prisoners settled before moving on with the search. As the approach the last door the door that Seven said the Aibelle and Nix were behind they all stopped and took a deep breath. Lycus reaches forward and opens the door. There chained to the wall was Aibelle. She was covered in blood from head to toe as Lycus and London rush forward Lycus cuts her down from the wall while London cradles her body close to her.
“We have you Aibelle you are safe” London mutters into Aibelle’s ear.
“G…go…ne” Aibelle mutters before she starts coughing.
“What is gone Aibelle.” Lycus asks as he pushes back some of the hair from Aibelle’s face.
“Get Archon” London calls to the others. The pounding of footsteps fades but the calls for Nix to answer them do not.
“She dying” Seven says as she stands at the feet of Aibelle
“What do you mean?” London sobs.
“No super, therefore her other can’t survive here much longer. She is dying”, Seven responds, before walking over to Nix.
“Hekate. Hekate quick” Lycus yells
“Put her body in stasis, we can find her super and return it. We just need to make sure that her the other doesn’t die” Lycus says desperately.
“I can try, but that isn’t how stasis works. Her other could die there and then what. If we find her super and her body is gone, then we have nothing for her super to go into”, Hekate says.
“Just do it” Lycus snarls.
“It won’t work. She is dead. Her super is dead.” Seven calls as she looks as Nix turning her head this way and that.
“Nix is dead?” Jameson calls.
“No, Aibelle is dead. Her super and her other agreed to separate, knowing that it would kill them both. The other just wants to say goodbye to Archon and then she will die. Nix on the other hand there is something wrong” Seven says as she moves closer to Nix.
“Where is she?” Archon asks as he comes tearing through the door.
“Here” Lycus calls before stepping back so that Archon can be with Aibelle.
“What happened?” Archon asks as he brushes his fingers lightly over Aibelle’s skin.
“The Queen wanted to take my super. But we agreed to separate so the Queen couldn’t take it. Then she moved onto Nix but Nix was hurt in the explosion so I annoyed the Queen. She got angry and then here we are. Is Nix ok?” Aibelle gasps out as the blood drips from her mouth.
“I don’t know, I am sorry that I couldn’t protect you” Archon sobs into Aibelle’s hair
“It’s ok, don’t blame yourself. Just protect those kids. Also, you are going to have a fight on your hands” Aibelle gasps again around a large cough.
Archon soothes Aibelle as she continues to cough and blood splatters everywhere.
“It’s fine don’t talk. Just stay with me” Archon whispers.
“Goodbye Archon. I Love you. Don’t trust your” Aibelle whispers before another bout of coughing hits.
Aibelle continues to cough and gag before finally stopping. As Archon goes to touch her face, Aibelle’s body starts to dissolve right in front of his eyes. Archon's screams make the building shudder and shake as Archon releases his sorrow.
“Aibelle, Aibelle.” Archon calls.
“Archon, I believe that your parents might be apart of this,” Bride says as she stands in front of an angry God.
