Chapter 42
Shock
“What the hell did that wolf say?” Tennessee says as he storms through the darkness pacing back and forth.
“Stop, you’re making me sick” Skky snaps. Tennessee gives her a look as if to say ‘who cares’ then continues to stomp back and forth.
“Why is Skky working with you?” Tito growls as he stomps closer to the stranger. The Beta being within distance grabs the prince by the back of the next and applies pressure making sure that the prince knows that any movement with result in the claws of the Beta’s hand going straight into the prince’s neck.
“Why are you working with the Royal’s?” Tennessee growls at Skky. Everyone stares at Skky waiting for an answer.
“Why?” Tito asks with a loud growl. The hairs stood up on our arms as the growl was so ferocious that we all jumped.
For years we all had to deal with the constant problems that were Skky, the people that she hurt and the people that she lied to and now that all her secrets are coming to the surface it is clear that she is going to be left with nothing.
The day that she killed Jameson’s wife and unborn child was the day that everyone of them all started to second guess her and her actions. The way that Skky didn’t seem to care regarding what was really going on nor did she offer any sympathy. There was always something there that made everyone of her siblings doubt the words that came out of her mouth.
“There was always something about you that I hated on sight, even Jameson struggled to tolerate you for longer than necessary and that got worse with each interaction. London was almost kicked out of her coven for the shit that you pulled they nearly went as far as striping her of her powers and what it was all a game to you.” Tennessee seethed.
“I have never cared for you all that much but why did you do this to us. Even know we didn’t care all that much about you we still were your family and honestly you brought on our disinterest, always siding with mother and doing her biding even at a young age you were manipulative and out to get your own way. I watched you at every turn and whilst doing that I saw some unspeakable things but what you did to your own brother and to his fated mate was an absolute the end of any feelings that I could have in this familiar relationship” London murmurs.
“I want to say that we are seeing what our mother’s corruption has done to you but the thing that I can’t let go of is that you deliberately killed Jameson’s fated mate someone that is meant to be treasured and Sasha never did anything to you. If anything, she tried to be nice and caring to you but you killed her and her unborn child. I have watched you harass the members of my pack; I have watched how you treated Hennessy and I have also seen the number of families that you have torn apart from not only my pack but the packs of the incubus horde as well” Tito growls.
“I want to watch more let’s finish this and then we can make a judgement” Jameson says with a resigned note in his voice.
To say that Skky’s antics and scandals didn’t get much better. We watched the next several years of Skky’s life like it was on fast forward We didn’t need words to the actions, stunts and scams that she pulled. Somehow London paused the movie of Skky’s life when we got to a month before our current time.
“Stop, please don’t watch this. I can change” Skky says tying desperately to make everyone focus on her and not what was currently happening.
“Please, Please I beg you” Skky screams.
“Is that the Royal castle?” Tennessee growls snapping his head towards Skky
“Please, I… I’m sorry” Skky sobs through her tears.
Watching as Skky walks into the Royal palace requesting to speak to the Queen
Skky walks into the Royal’s castle “I want to speak with the Queen now, I have some much need information that she will wish to know about immediately before the next festival and bio-scan” Skky says while looking at the royal official.
Looking around the sitting room that she was taken to Skky continued to look at the device in the corner that was where supers were put for public embarrassment and punishment should it warrant it. Mostly the Royals made public executions before these Royal lived off the fear that these executions gave off. Skky couldn’t say that she hadn’t been to several of these executions they were fun, killing, drinking and sex. Lots of lots of sex.
Hearing the clicking of heels on the stone floor Skky turns towards the door in the far-right corner as the Queen walks through the doors with her head held high.
“What do you want?” The Queen barks.
“I have some news that I think that would suit you to know” Skky says while walking towards the throne and taking a seat. Sitting back and smirking at the Queen waiting for her to ask the inevitable question.
The Queen’s whole body vibrates as she watches Skky.
“What is it?” the Queen snaps
Smirking and raising her eyebrow Skky continues to kick one leg as she reclines in the throne knowing that it is pissing the Queen off is just an added bonus.
“I have information that you will need before the next festival and bio-scan and with this information it is going to be the talk of the realm” Skky says still looking like the proverbial cat that just ate the canary.
“Tell me you insolent beast” The Queen snaps.
“I know of a super that isn’t a super but something other and at worst case human” Skky mutters.
“WHAT!!!!” the Queen screeches.
