Answers or Horrors
“Look boys and London, this is your new little sister. I am going to call her Skky. Isn’t she beautiful?” Mother coons while looking at the new bundle of joy.
“Bloody hell mother, how many more are you going to pop out. You said after Jameson was born that you wouldn’t take the potion anymore and then BAM! We have another bloody sister” Tennessee growls at our mother.
“Well, it’s not like you come home all that often and I am lonely” Mother mutters as she continues to stare down at Skky.
“Tito, can you look after Skky for a few days I have to go meet my elders and I can’t take her with me” Mother asks all sweet and caring.
“Here we go, we become the parents so that you can continue your slutty ways” London mutters as she walks towards the door.
“London, shut up you horrible child.” Mother yells at London as she quickly places Skky into Tito’s arms and disappears out the door.
“I really hate that woman” London says while looking at Tito.
“I am not looking after the brat, so you’re on your own Tito. It was bad enough when she had Jameson and then decided that not three hours after he was born that there was something that she needed to do and didn’t come back for nearly three months” Tennessee says while looking at Jameson with a you’re such a little shit look.
“How is that my problem dumb ass.” Jameson mutters as he walks closer to Skky. Just before he can reach out and touch her, he suddenly takes a step back and glares at Skky.
“I don’t like her” Jameson mutters moving further away from her.
London moves closer and looks at London as well. While she stares at Skky, she closes her eyes and see nothing but a red wolf and darkness.
“There is something wrong with her” London says while moving back from Skky and Tito.
“What?” Tito asks looking closer at the baby in question.
“What is wrong with her?” Tito asks while he continues to peer into the baby’s eyes.
“Darkness, she is a wolf but there is nothing but darkness in her. She isn’t right” London says again.
“Ooh maybe she is part darkness like me, you know that I am one of the princes of darkness” Tennessee puffs and preens.
“Mm really dark like you are as dark as a high-powered lightbulb” Jameson mutters moving out of hitting range of Tennessee.
“Shut up fairy” Tennessee snaps while laughing
Shaking his head at his siblings’ antics Tito continues to look at the baby, the baby stares back with eery calm.
“What is she?” Tito asks his wolf
“I don’t know but I can sense her wolf but it is like her wolf is partly muted. Maybe she is more hybrid than we are” His wolf says
“Well, I am off to cause trouble” Tennessee says before disappearing.
“Oh, wait Ten, there is something that I want to mention” London says while looking at everyone.
“Well, the coven has selected me to be an elder apprentice” London says while looking at each of her brothers.
“That great London, Congratulations” Jameson says smiling brightly at London.
“Congratulations sister” Tito says.
“So, you are going to get a bigger head then you have now. Awesome “Tennessee smiles but give London a big hug and whispering “congratulations” in her ear.
Smiling at her siblings London finally felt like she was on the right path.
“I won’t be in contact for the next year, as I leave for the elders” London says looking at each of her brothers in the eye.
“Ok” Jameson says. Knowing that there isn’t anything that he could say to stop her as this has been her dream for a long time.
“A whole year?” Tennessee says while looking at London. “Do you need money?”
“No, Ten but thanks for asking” London.
“That is a long time Lonodn. I expect weekly calls I don’t call what they say you call or we come looking” Tito says leaning forward and kissing London on the forehead. As Tito kissed London Skky lets out a horrible scream so loud that the front window pops.
London snaps her eyes down to Skky and gives her a sharp look.
“Squealy thing isn’t it.” Tennessee mutters looking that he baby like he just might eat it.
“Anyway I am off. I leave tonight” London says before giving her brothers a hug before leaving.
“Tito, are you going to be ok looking after that thing?” Tennessee asks.
“Yeah, mother said a few days so I expect that she will be gone for over six months. I will give her to one of the pack members to look after until mother comes back” Tito says
“I’m out, I have training” Jameson says before disappearing in a cloud of smoke.
“Ugh” Tennessee says before shimmering out of the house.
“Ok Skky, lets get you to the pack” Tito says gathering up everything and walking out the house.
Upon arriving at the pack Tito makes his way to the kitchen and looking that the Cook. As soon as she sees the baby she comes rushing forward.
“Aww, isn’t she beautiful.” The cook says as she snatches Skky out of Tito’s arms.
“This is Skky, do you mind taking care of her until her mother comes to pick her up?” Tito asks the cook.
“I would love to” the cook mutters as she continues to stare at the beautiful baby.
The baby coos and snuggles while Tito is around. As soon as Tito walks away the baby stares at his retreating back almost like the baby is glaring at Tito. The cook shakes her head and blinks her eyes a few times before looking at the baby but all she sees is a tiny, defenceless baby.
“That baby isn’t right” the Cooks wolf growls.
“Hush, she is just a baby” the cooks replies with mock reproach.
